    So the more Vader hates Sidious the stronger he gets but the more Palps's hated the stronger he gets. So technically they would always be about almost the same level now. It explains how Vader was only able to overpower Sidious when he did it not for hate but to save his son, so for LOVE.

      excactly palpatine never felt love so thats why he couldnt feel vader was about to betray him

    9:15 I like how Mas Amedda is depply disturbed and saddened by the death of innocent people. As corrupt as he is, he’s not pure evil unlike Palpatine.

    So the more Vader hates Sidious the stronger he gets but the more Palps's hated the stronger he gets. So technically they would always be about the same level now, but palps remains a bit stronger. it explains how Vader was only able to take him out when he did it not for hate but to save his son. He let scourge take over him, let's see how this will go.

      correct interpretation in my opinion. Vader will become more powerful than Sidious the moment he will fight him for LOVE and for hate.

      In the Star Wars Canon, I'd argue Vader was always more powerful than Palpatine, but Palpatine was still always superior Vader, always having him under his thumb.

    *Gulp* I wonder, now that the Scourge is one step away from victory, I'd love to see Palpatine's struggle against a being that doesn't hold himself back.

    He let himself get taken over? Now the Scourge is on the verge of winning! And now we see why Palpatine is truly the top Sith Lord. He thrives on any hate, especially hate aimed at him. Makes you wonder how far he would get in a Sith Empire.

    Just reminding everyone that we are STILL in the one year gap between episode 5 and 6. All the comics and all this shit in the past 5 years that has come out has happend and taken place in a one year gap between empire strikes back and return of the Jedi… YET WERE STILL NOT SEEING ANYTHING content wise leading us up to the movie. They are really milking this year.

    • @StuartLugsden
      @StuartLugsden 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Yeah I find it hard to believe all this takes place 6 months to a year. Are we meant to believe Vader has an extremely busy life and we're seeing every single day?

    • @jlev1028
      @jlev1028 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well, no more interquel comics, no more Vader comics. That's the logic both Marvel and Lucasfilm are justifying themselves with.

    • @Lr.Laecro.Lirus3445
      @Lr.Laecro.Lirus3445 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Correction: It were all the comics in the past 3 years with this time gap, so since January 2020.
      The Empire Strikes Back itself is in the first 3 weeks or so of the year 3 ABY. The movie itself takes place during two, at most three weeks. All the comics up till the end of the War of the Bounty Hunters are possibly just one or two months away from the film. All of them are in the early weeks right after the film. The War of the Bounty Hunters itself is a one/two-week long conflict. So all the other comics still perfectly fit somewhere into that year too, as they build up and directly connect to each other without time jumps, that are that large. Adding to that, in the current Canon there isn't another event really happening in that year. You could count the TIE-Fighter mini-series, but a reference has already put that at 4 ABY.
      We do actually see some things leading up to Return of the Jedi. The Rebels know, that the Empire builds a Second Death Star, Luke has the green crystal for his new lightsaber and the rest is already detaily explained trough other media.
      We don't know yet, if it was actually just one year or one year and two/three months actually.

      this is a HUGE feat for Vader he technically stalemate Palpatine, the two are now literary comparable. And this put definitely Vader over Yoda and other characters.

    • @dominicchoate2287
      @dominicchoate2287 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@honestmaster1932 that was not a stalemate. Palpatine was in total control the entire time and had Vader pinned to the wall with lightning while barely even trying it seems. Palpatine was reveling in that moment and getting off on Vader's hate.

    • @Force_User_
      @Force_User_ 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      @@dominicchoate2287 not even. Palps was trynna distract vader to turn his back on him. He wasn't "pinned against the wall", he was delfecting the lightning and they ended the battle completely undamaged. No one was in control, one was attacking and the other defending. Palps failed to break Vader's defenses who wasn't even struggling near the end despite blocking with only one hand for multiple pages. He also released the scourge on the planet and palps couldn't stop him. If he was superior, he would have gone after Vader even after the fight, not tell him he "needs him" which is an obvious lie. Even while amped by Vader's hatred he still couldn't prove superiority. This was a stalemate no matter what you say

    This finally confirm Vader to be more powerful than Yoda and any other Jedi, considering he technically stale this version of Palpatine. This comic is settled little before Return of the Jedi and Return of the Jedi Palpatine is stated to be much more powerful than his Revenge of the Sith version who beat/stale Yoda. Vader is officially the level of Return of the Jedi Palpatine and automatically over Yoda.

    • @GreaterGrievobeast55
      @GreaterGrievobeast55 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I guess the comic is trying to make a point of Vader hating the emperor so much that he's willing to put his individuality on the line for another advantage. But if he doesn't have a trick up his mind for the virus, this is very out of character I think

    • @cassandrawelch1292
      @cassandrawelch1292 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @GreaterGrievobeast55 what advantage could he possibly get by allowing himself to become possessed willingly?! I get with the mustafiarians he did it to lure the Queen of the mustafarians out of hiding so that he could stop them from attacking his fortress and killing his men, but how would that work here? It's not like the problem is a living being or a Droid that if he destroyed it everything's over and done with, but rather this is a virus! There's nothing to lure out of hiding! What's even the point?! Also, as angry as he is at his master, couldn't his master just forcibly retake control over vader once he finds out vader is possessed?

    • @honestmaster1932
      @honestmaster1932 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    • @cassandrawelch1292
      @cassandrawelch1292 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @honestmaster1932 it seems like they are trying to make the events of a Legends comic into new Canon, but I'm not sure about that. The comic was a legends one where the Mustafarians were attacking vaders fortress on Mustafar, and he let himself get possessed to draw the Queen of the hive out to end her rein and stop the destruction. They've tried this before i think.
