    If I typed myself correctly, I'm Sleep first and Play last, so I get really impressed with the amount of energy this guys have. I can get things done when I really need to, but I'm always like: "I need more time! I need to stop, and rest and process things, organize my thoghts..." And the Sleep last people are just like "go go go, let's do it now", sometimes I get mad at then because they push me to do the same thing

      I think I'm Ti/Ni, so also sleep-first. I experience the same thing. I just want to be in a stable situation and do what I'm good at, maintaining that stable situation, at a pace that I can keep up with forever. I don't want to constantly bounce back and forth between forcing myself too hard and being exhausted. But it feels as if everyone else in the world is a play-blaster that wants to push me to be like them and I can't.

    Hey everyone, sleep last here, I have some tips for sleepers.
    1. Actually Sleep (Figure out your chronotype, optimal sleep starts there)
    2. Movement (Sometimes the body needs cranking, once in motion you're set)
    3. Nootropics (They're like "brain steroids", there's a subreddit full of information on this)
    4. Mindset (See chores and problems like bread, you can't eat a loaf, but you can eat slices. Break down your problems and chores)

    • @The-Conqueeftador
      @The-Conqueeftador 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oh and the most important one....

    • @youareloved5462
      @youareloved5462 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is the actual amount of hours of sleep per night an indicator of sleep in the stack ?
      Like, can we track the sleep last according to how "excessive" they can be with energy expansion?
      For example I remember someone not even eating at lunch and just go study in high school, is that Sleep last (since it was a repetitive pattern for this person).
      Is it like that buddy ? Or I am getting it totally wrong haha ? :D

    I’m constantly aware of my owies and I’m so sensitive to pain whether it’s emotional or physical! I remember being young and feeling terrified of pain! That’s why I gave up easily on a lot of things! And that’s why it took me so long to get started on things. I couldn’t handle pain or discomfort the way other people could! This is such a relief to be able to understand why, and also a reassurance that it doesn’t mean it will be problem for me forever or that I can’t work on it!

    My husband and MIL are both play first. They get SO MUCH stuff done on a day-to-day basis, but they never stop to ask themselves "is this something that needs to be done RIGHT NOW, or can it wait?" So they spend all day pushing themselves, then as soon as they sit down for a moment they fall asleep. Self care, rest, and prioritizing are struggles for this type.

    My mom and I both have Sleep in the top two and we "need" to take breaks before and after EVERYTHING. It's built into our family life that we stop and rest between every activity. Going for a walk? Take a break first. Home from the walk? Need to sit down and rest. Going to watch a movie? Need to take twenty minutes to get in the right headspace first. Even after dinner we have to get up from the table and take a break before dessert! It drove my Play first ex inSANE but it's just how we operate!

      Both can be unhealthy but blast play first problems are less concerning to look at for the outside world then sleep first problems where your just not doing stuff not getting anywhere. I have sleep first and my close onces tend to judge me for not doing enough it’s the history with them that makes them still judge me for not doing enough even when im going at the fastest pace im able to. It is sometimes annoying when people don’t understand that you really have less energy and then blow getting less things done off as bad mental health when you really already did all the things you had on your planning for the goals in mind. Dont let your mood be impacted by them just keep a steady rhythm going and love yourself. People test you to see if your weak it is what it is.

      I'm an INFP with ADHD. It's kinda weird because I run into analysis paralysis a lot and sometime just get frustrated and just impulsively pick something and run with it.
      Other times I get extremely zoned into something and will be up till 4AM figuing it out in order to get it done.

    • @joelgriffin4476
      @joelgriffin4476 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As a Sleep last INFP or rather || Fi/Ne CP/B(S) FF || I can say we at least have the benefit of being an INFP so I don’t think it’s as bad as you would think or rather as bad as other types. My entire house is always spotless, my car is always spotless, everything is always perfectly organized. Anything required of me is typically done immediately. Everything that needs to be done is always done, whatever it may be at any given time I know those weren’t the best examples lol. But when I finally get everything done I can rest and relax probably more so than those with higher sleep as basically your entire day is spent in a state of sub-optimal relaxation. Which only further increases your anxiety as now you’ve wasted all this time and everything you need to do just piles up until you become overwhelmed, only furthering the cycle. In the same way it blows your mind we exist it blows my mind you exist lol although side note what truly boggles my mind is that there exists some Sleep/Blast INFP out there like wtf does that look like lol buuuuut it really doesn’t take as much energy as you might think. Your overthinking causes you to overestimate the amount of effort it actually takes. Sure I probably underestimate it, but it’s at least somewhere in the middle. As for the crashes that doesn’t happen to me as often or they at least aren’t so bad (anymore) given that I’m an INFP and I probably have more self-awareness than most other types as well as considering how much of my life I’ve spent on self-improvement. I’ve learned that the person I am when I’m on those crashes is one of the worst versions of me and I strive to never reach that point. Do I still overwork myself? Absolutely. Does it help that I’m a perfectionist, absolutely not lol now of course, this means I’ve still got lower Blast energy, so when I was younger I was pretty shit at getting started, but when I did I could work 24/7 for all I care. In fact, at one point I used to work at Amazon as a packer working 12 hour shifts 5 days a week. I was probably one of the only people not complaining lol even had to pretend to complain but nah I’d rather be working than sitting at home doing nothing. But yeah, having high sleep sounds like torture, I have no idea how you guys do it. If I’ve ever overthought something in my life, you must be doing that 1000x more. I can’t even imagine the horror show that must be going on inside your heads at all times lmao

    There is a difference between effective and intense.
    I have 2 family members who likes to clean house. First they talk about it. Taaalk talk talk. And they have this almost drooling excitment of "oh yeah, I'm gonna move, and do, and do, and get it done". And then they prepare, move all the stuff, get all the stuff, and then move back and forth, back and forth, multitask between 3 cleaning tasks, running from one point to the other.
    And while they clean, it is almost like they make the tools dirty, so they have to clean them too. And then, they move all the stuff back to it's place.
    And then, they're done. 4 hours later!!
    Like a car, with 100% gas and breaks on simultaneously, not moving.

      The opposite is true, actually...
      Lead sensory types are more open and needing of factual physical evidence before jumping to conclusions and dominant intuitive types are more prone to making guesses without respecting sensory data and or procedures...
      Ne types would feel like they are being controlled by "them" and would be skeptical of detailed sensory data (delicate measurements, complex formulas, etc) as well as information that's "already known" like basic sciences and other tried and true methods...
      Ni types would feel scared of not preventing a chaotic environment or outcome so they will feel like having to take control over the issues and reject sensory real world experiences that may disqualify that vision of "they are going to screw up for their benefit so I have to step in"
      All intuitive dominant types live in fakeland and have a hard time being present in the real world
