I don't know how he doesn't break strings all the time playing that way. Actually he probably does.
I am thinking the same. Maybe he has some kind of custom steel in those strings.
Followed him around California in the mid 1990s. His current act is just a pale imitation of that era. All skills fade, thats just a natural fact.
