Standard Gauge Railway route demarcation begins to avoid encroachment

Officials from the standard gauge railway have embarked on the demarcation of its corridor from Tororo to Kampala to avoid encroachment. The demarcation exercise started in the village of Bulafa in Namutumba district is along a corridor where all the project affected persons were compensated. While speaking at the launch of the demarcation, the leader of the exercise, Eng. Canon Perez Wamburu , says some project affected persons had gone back to the land and started construction and cultivation despite being compensated. #NTVNews
