Nice vid Liam - the old dogs are good value. BTW the unusual fish that was caught was a fringe-eyed flathead. Reasonably common around the bay islands...
Great sesh..funny how the old stereo type of fisherman WAS those old blokes with their own style,i learnt that way on an Alvey & fiberglass rob. To now,the upgrades but still the same buzz. I enjoy going home not stinking like bait with blood n guts over my shirt & shorts but... thank f@#k for plakies & jerkbaits

I work with what I got but starting on a high let’s you work the flats then the drains as the tide falls out.

Yeah the old boy slapped it together with sheets of aluminium mate. All aluminium frame and livewell with thermolite floor and hatches.
