Watching You made me try a speedrun myself just for fun, but I quit on Tahir. I'm playing this game since 2015 and I never ever had a troubl with him. I was hitting him but he was taking no damage (not even block animation), dodged every other attack. What's the tactic for him and what cause him to be so powerful? I saw You struggle with him too but for me he was even worse.
Use power attack, he cannot block it and will almost always get stunned into a stumble animation. Basically you can just 100-0 him with constant power attack stunlocks lmao. The only problem with this strat is that you need to have a high enough power level to unlock said skill for power attack.

It does not, as it's a category no one is interested in running.
@@AussieGG I am, this one is so much better to watch and run for me. I don't like the whole warping thing. Glitchless DLCless warpless is what I really enjoy.

I kinda don't understand the kick stamina reset, when exactly I'm supposed to do this? Am I supposed to stop sprinting? Sometimes Crane get's tired after 3 seconds again.
It only works when Crane is out of stamina, it before it. A key indicator is when you hear him pant as if he’s out of breath and that you actually stop sprinting because of it.
@@AussieGG And this is where I just kick, nothing else? Sometimes its hard to know where because of dialog but I made myself some point where it needs to be done
@@jerzyk7724 There are other ways to reset stamina like dodging sideways, backwards or jumping backwards too, but yeah, just kick or do one of those when it happens.

If DLC are allowed, would it be faster to use Snowy Soldier outfit for 1.2x XP? Like would it help at any point
This has actually been a topic of discussion in the speedrun community, and it's been decided to ban that outfit.
@@AussieGG So we can craft a DLC bow that can easily kill enemies, but not use an outfit.
When I speedrun I pretend that I don't have acces to any DLC, just like on the beginning of DL. Instead of crafting a bow I run for the pistol when I exit the Tower for the first time.

What does a “warp less run “ mean?
It means that I can't kill myself to teleport somewhere, or select a quest to then teleport somewhere else when saving and loading into the game.

Tahir is very easy, just Power Attack spam him and he gets stunlocked.

Why is it in a different language
Because French is the fastest language to speedrun in. There are numerous checkpoints in the game that are reliant on dialogue finishing, and French finishes the earliest.
