Yeah and it's buggy anyway which is why I don't use it anymore. It used to work just fine about a year ago and then it just started freezing or stopping alltogether. I liked having it for mobile or TV viewers who want to watch the stream in full screen while also being able to see chat. For more immersive things like the first playthrough of a new game I always have it off, but in this situation I'm playing DL for the upteenth time and it's more of a chill thing.

I literally finished my umpteenth play through of The Following this evening. I have a new save for DL2 that I haven’t touched for a month. After completing DL2 twice, I can’t muster the enthusiasm to play it again. I still enjoy the original more.
So you spoke about scalpers and I have something to say. I bought my PS5 for $1100 ($1643 AUS) when it normally would cost $500 ($748 AUS). It hurt my soul but I bought it during the purge of out of stock. I don't think I can forgive myself or amazon again. But at least I have it.
I understand people like Dying Light 1 more, especially if you have played the games a lot. But as a more casual player, I love Dying Light 2, but I started just now during the Halloween even,t with the update, so it might have improved some things too. But I like the crafting, armor, the enemies, except that annoying ass Hags. I like the skill tree a lot more in Dying Light 1 though. I have about 73 hours on DL1, without doing any DLC, and about 37hours into DL2 atm, and have about half the story left, so I do a lot of side quests and shit, and I like DL2 a lot so far. There is this bug though, I think it is a bug, which makes you need to re-press W to move after changing weapon in DL2, so if you run, change weapon, you just completely stand still while still holding W, annoying as hell.
playing zombie games with level 1 is quite a big challenge i've tried playing Dead Rising 2 as a level 1 with an edited save file and it was quite weak it really makes it feel like you are no different than an average human
Wait, wait wait. You love Project Zomboid? Why have you never recorded gameplay? that was the ONLY game I played for years, I was addicted! But then I found Dying Light and decided to take a break. I still go back to it every now and then though.
I don't stream or make videos of it just like I don't with New Vegas or Skyrim, they're games that I just play on my own and enjoy them more on my own.
Hot take but dl1 at launch was no bueno. Parkour was sketchy for grabs and such and materials were much less available. Got the game early and never got halfway through slums. Got it when it came out on switch and that’s the whole reason I found Aussie. After all the support dl1 is a straight up incredible game. The first night sequence when you see a volatile is genuinely panic inducing. Dl2 just hyped itself up too much. They tried to be everything and lost the essence in the process. Part of the charm of Dl1 is it didn’t take itself too serious.
I'm more of a TH-cam guy so I watch his uploads there since he streams too late for me. If I'm able to catch him live then I do, or watch the VODs of his streams. Moving to Kick doesn't make a difference to me

Wow, only twice? I played dozens of times before I returned to DL1, but i go back to 2 occasionally

I played DL1 on launch on the Xbox and aside from the shitty BTZ balancing it was absolutely fine
