I made this tonight to get in my New Years Day black eyed peas and OHEMGEE!! It’s delicious!!! Easy to make (the hardest part is chopping up the veggies and cooked fairly fast! Thanks so much! This will def become a regular dish in our house!

I'm from the South, and I've never seen nor heard of Black Eye Peas being cook that way. Plus, I'll eat them, but I've never been that fond of Black Eye Peas, and I usually cook them mainly for New Year. Nevertheless, seeing how that dish turned out I'd be the first one in line plate in hand 😋! I've watched several of your videos bcuz I'm new to the channel, and each one is what I'd call " I've never seen it cooked that way video! I make mine very similar, but I don't drain & rinse the beans...I just dump the whole can in there. I always use Andouille sausage, and for the last 5 minutes cook time I dump in a pound of peeled 15/20 shrimp. I absolutely love jambalaya because aside from minimal prep time it is literally a 30 minute, one-pot meal. And it's delicious! 😋
