Hell yes dude, In my opinion, yosh studios file of the wolverine mask from the new movie is the most accurate, i got Do3d’s file but the ears were funky, so i printed this one instead, not many people noticed the hints of blue on the mask, I based my cowl on the Hot Toys figure, but this is SUPER ACCURATE, great job bro!
Thank you man! Yosh did a great job on the file, and yes if I hadn’t caught the subtle blue I would have been very annoyed lol now I just need to decide if I want to go back and add the silver!
If I may ask, what’s the difference in ears for Do3D or why it’s funky? I found out they just updated their mask, and I do like the various options, but I like to expand my knowledge before pulling the trigger
Actuall man, the new Vek3D file is the most accurate
@@Rafael-qd3yq that one is pretty damn good. You know if the V2 still has the V1 straps included too? I kinda like both partial strap and strap
@@TeaGamingPanda oh yea, im not a prop expert, but I bought their files, not to spoil anything about the movie, but compare Do’s files to the hot toys wolverine helmet, the nose isn’t accurate, and the jaw piece isnt attached to the wings, it goes under, another thing are the wings itself, the wings should be longer and stretched out more towards the back
Imo, most beautiful art piece I ever seen lol
Lol thank you!!
masterful job painting and creating the cowl!
Thank you!!
Incredibly high quality work!
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words 🙂
You narrating yourself dropping the sponge was hilarious 😂😂
It’s funny because I don’t think I’ve ever dropped it before, but for some reason on that day I couldn’t hang onto it for anything 😂
The cowl looks absolutely fantastic! Bravo 👏👏👏!
Dude this is perfect! Brilliant job with the colour on the wings too
Thank you! I was super happy with how that color came out
Great choices on the colors. The end results are perfect. Just started printing out those same files and I'm hoping I can get close to your craftsmanship.
I’m sure it will come out great!
I just wanna say, that looks sick as hell
Thank you!!
Looks great! It's very accurate by the looks of it. Great job!
Thank you!! I should have added in some silver weathering but I think I’m happy with it for now. If I do add it I’m gonna start from scratch on the mask and do it right
@@LivingLambeaux I think the mask should look more like cloth rather than metal. The dark blue fins maybe, but in the movie I haven't seen a speck of silver. Wait for the movie to come out digitally to see which is the best way to go.
This is so sick best one I’ve seen so far
That’s awesome! Thank you
That is a beautiful mask bro. Keep up the work that is awesome!
Thank you man!
this is sick. i need it. i have the helmet almost done form The Wolverine post credit scene they made but this one is so nice
That one is awesome as well! I have the comic accurate (or cartoon maybe) one as well that I need to finish!
Looks awesome bro, hope to see the channel skyrocket in the future
Thanks dude! and you and I both! I love to see how well this video is doing
That looks amazing
Thank you!
Sick!
Thank you!!
Great vid. Clean work. Please drop a 3D printing tutorial
Thank you! Anything in particular you’re looking for?
great work pal👍
Thank you! 🙂
Bro that is sooo cool, I just recently made a Wolverine helmet too, well made out of cardboard. Yours look soo awesome, I'd like you to make the rest of the outfit if possible, great job.
Thank you man! How did the cardboard helmet come out? I'm shocked at how well people can make stuff out of cardboard!
@@LivingLambeaux It did well I suppose, its not the best quality helmet but its satisfying that I made a Wolverine helmet that looks decent out of cardboard.
nice job man!
Thank you dude!
Amazing!❤
Thank you!!
looks good
It would be really cool if you you did a mix of dead pools mask and wolverines mask because seeing how good this one came out I think the mix would look really cool😃
Is that Bondo + Activator + acetone? Or just bondo and acetone? Or maybe is that Bondo Glaze, which doesn't require activator?
Pretty good paint job. A lot of 3d printed helmet builders can't paint at all and ruins the final piece.
Thanks dude! I try to do a good job painting, it’s admittedly as much to do about patience as it is anything else
Bro is underrated asf
Appreciate that!
Awesome work. How much would a finished one be please? Thank you, Ben.
Hey, really appreciated you sharing your process of this build. I was curious what material you ended up using to get the white eye look and if you glued or Velcroed it in
I actually just printed the eyes from the file at the lowest possible resolution and taped them in, just in case I ever wanted to go back and do something else. Helmets I actually plan on wearing though I typically use white computer mesh, you can get it on Amazon pretty cheap. If you look through my channel I did an Iron-Spider helmet probably two ish years ago and that’s what I ised!
@@LivingLambeauxappreciate your response!
if you're looking for something you can find at Walmart, crochet plastic canvas is great for masks
Great job as always! I've never used wood filler on prints before. Are you happy with the results? It looks like it worked really well!
I am! I know I mentioned on your video that using Bondo to fill seams kills me lol I can never seem to get it filled right. The wood filler works well for me though. I probably do 2-3 passes of it depending on how big the seam is
@@LivingLambeaux Cool, I'll have t ogive it a shot:)
Did ya make it appear out of nowhere like the movie too?
To some people mine may have appeared out of nowhere lol
Look great, what did you used for the white eyes?
Thank you! I actually just printed them out in white and the best setting. If I ever want to go back and make eyes you can see through I’ll either use computer mesh or I’ll vacuum form them
@@LivingLambeaux okay 👌 thanks for the information
i wish i could make this but im just a kid
Ask your parents for an entry level printer! The A1 Mini is a great starting point
Beautiful!
awesome video! what about the new deadpool mask :O
I actually have it probably about 70% printed, I need to finish it!
@@LivingLambeaux can’t wait!! Keep up the good work as always
I really need a 3D printer
Do it!
What is the name of the paint you used?
The yellow is called yellow ginger by Rustoleum (same paint I’ve been using on Cyclops visors), and the blue was Rustoleum true navy
@@LivingLambeaux thank you very much 👏
5:14 Wash your dishes :)
I should have CGI’d that out
Wolverine had hoodie mask not helmet
Lets be honest, it didn't make zero sense in the movie. He pulled it over his head like a mask and then when he took it off at the end of the movie and had it sitting next to Deadpools it was like a helmet
Omg guys it's a helmet attached to a hoodie. Please understand how things are made..
The end the hoodie part was burned off. Duh.
It's a mask, not a hoodie, you just didn't see him pull it out of his arse
Bro shut up and get a life and a skill
i made Deadpool and wolverine from Hugh Jackman's wolverine helmet 😂
Are you selling masks?
If yes, is there kids sizes?
I’m not selling completed masks, but I am selling raw printed masks in yellow and black! I could do a kids size if I had the head diameter
@@LivingLambeaux great 🙏 thx
The awesome thing is that the eyes just appeared there from nowhere and nobody knows what it's made of
Just like the entire mask in the movie lol, no I should have filmed that part but I didn’t because they aren’t the permanent eyes. They’re just raw resin prints being held in place with painters tale
Ey don't waste the water!! Use an spray men wtf!
