Thank you for very informative review! Just wanted to confirm, can you feed let’s say 4k 24 from camera and send it as 1080 to the receiver? And how reliable it will be for long shooting sessions. Thanks in advance

Hi there. Thank you so much. So, yes, at least on the version of the TP Mini I was sent (directly from Shimbol, I did not purchase this), I AM able to send a 4k (up to 29.97 frames per second) into the transmitter, and on the TRANSMITTER I still get that 4k (up to 29.97fps) out of the HDMI Loop-Out on the transmitter.......and the transmitter will then downscale that to 1920x1080 and send the 1080 signal wirelessly to the receiver, so the the HDMI output on the receiver will still only be 1920x1080 (no 4k).
So, this works in my case for still sending 4k out of my camera's HDMI output port.
Your experience may or may not work this way, as this is not listed in the official specifications, but it works that way for me.

As far as long shooting sessions, I'm not sure as I did not use it on long sessions, but when I was testing and using it, for probably up to an hour at a time, it worked fine, never shut down or anything weird, just that bit of stutter here-and-there (and usually when filming at 23.98 frames per second). But in close-quarters, small interview rooms (my living room), etc, it worked really well. And it worked really well outside at long distances as long as the transmitter and receiver could "see" each other (line-of-sight).

Pluck up the courage to ask: do you consider a smartwatch brand to collab?
