Hi everyone! Over the last couple of months, I have received quite a number of questions both on IG as well as irl on how my VCA bracelet has been holding up. And considering, I have been wearing my Vintage Alhambra five motif bracelet almost on a daily for well over a year now, I figured it was about time I talk you through my experience and thoughts. I was debating between this mop bracelet and the guilloche and have decided to get the guilloche bracelet first. The MOP bracelet is still on my wishlist as I do also feel it’s more of a casual piece that you can wear daily. Thank you for sharing💕. New subbie and a fellow TH-camr here😊
I’m sure you’ll love the guilloché one. The intricate carving and how sparkly it is, make it such a special piece. Plus the full gold is probably a little more carefree than the MOP. Thank you for watching and welcome to my little TH-cam community :)

Hey Lesley ! I love this braceletbut from Van clef I would love a Alhambra necklace but I also want a hermit finesse necklace I am unsure of which one I should go first
Haha, I feel your struggle. There are so many beautiful jewelry pieces out there.
I have the very same bracelet (though I had mine resized to fit my small wrist... and because I was scared that I would bump it into a table or something, lol). I have to "polish" mine using a soft cloth because sometimes I think the mother of pearl gets a bit "dirty", or there is some dust on it or something. Do you do the same thing ? I love this bracelet though, I wear it every day as well.
I’m so glad it’s an everyday piece of jewelry for you as well :) I have actually never polished it either. I will have to look into that. Do you use a specific polishing cloth that you’d recommend?
@@LesleyAdina It's a soft cloth, kind of like the one you would use to clean your glasses or your computer, see what I mean ? It's actually from Cartier. I've bought the necklace with the pendant Amulette in malachite and there was a cleaning kit with it and the soft cloth was inside.

I‘ts definitely more on that dainty side. That being said, the mother of pearl and the gold is so beautiful and sparkly that is does make a subtle statement :)

I really love this design but i love my gold to be solid 22k or 24k. This has stopped me from buying vca/ cartier 😅😅😅😅😅

Can you wash your hands with this? I’am between this one and the guilloche alhambra🙃
I don’t take it off when I’m washing my hands but try to not get it wet. The full gold is probably a lot more carefree because you don’t have to worry about how the material would react to water. It’s a tough choice. Both options are beautiful.
