***Well subscriber and friend Travis Walker has spotted something in the video, and with his help and knowledge has found out there is actually an LED on the display side that sits on the left side. In the video I said there's only one LED just to mention. It's not bright, but enough to probably backlight the reflective backing so it doesn't look too dark. Now looking at it again and again it's still not obvious as the main dial LED is super bright. So I apologise and stand hands held up high that i've cocked that up... but it's thanks to Travis and you guys that help make all the G-Shock understanding possible. Cheers Travis, very much appreciated :))
@@traviswalker8933 It is... I like to be know as passionate then a know it all... feel it makes you more approachable.... whereas when you listen to a channel that's full of information they're basically just reading, doesn't bring that warmth if that makes sense... I'm like the door is open and lets have a lovely chat about it all while eating cake of course :-P Thanks again my friend :))
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman that's great. Some people don't like it if they find someone more knowledgeable than them. So it's a rare thing to find these days.
@@traviswalker8933 I'm not arrogant and I have no shame to holding my hands up with a mistake, and getting faked checked correctly is also helping others, nothing worse than making up some BS to cover a mistake, just own up and be very glad theirs people like you that mention it without making a fuss from it. I guess for some it's the credibility side as the viewers are looking up to them, in my case we are all together on the same level like a family. I don't pretend to know every G-Shock, and yes I do copy and paste model numbers to check, and then recognise the design that I might of seen before... I'm into the details and showing how it works, am very engineered in thinking, so finding out there's a second LED makes this video even more fact-full and covers another question :)
My friend, I really enjoy helping, and can answer quickly, as most of the time I have the answer, I know I know how to search for it... some aren't geared like my thinking, maybe because I have a different view with my disability.. but I really value feedback the most, especially with those that I've helped :) So, have you just bought the GG-B100 or on the thinking side?? Cheers once again for your kind compliment :))
Bro, this is way more detailed than technical training. You made this G Shock watch far more clever than it should be. Well done for such a perfect review. CASIO should have engaged you as their “product ambassador”. Very well shot and I am sure lots of efforts put in to get this perfect video out ! Thank you for such a great video.
When it comes to a tutorial I just get 110% into it, and I really enjoy showing all it can do :) It really is a great G-Shock, and one for everyday :) Thank you for the huge amount of support and feedback my good friend, this really makes me so HaPpY :))) Cheers once again :))
That's what I was aiming for... some good tutorials, but I needed to add a few wild horses with some cows in a field to make really complete LML :-P Cheers for the feedback my friend :)
There are some other good tutorials especially from Watch Geek... but I wanted to cover a little more, and of course that makes a long video, but with time stamps in the description, you'll always have a video for your needs :)) Has a good few quirks, and sometimes you'll forget, but with using it often that'll soon bridge the virgin areas :)) Cheers for the feedback, very welcome indeed my friend :)
Congratulations my friend on the purchase of the best G-Shock currently in the entire range! I've been sporting mine now for several months and just love it! One thing I did do though was to throw on a pair of Jays and Jays metal adaptors coupled with a camo NATO. Supreme comfort and then some! Fantastic tutorial brother and I have to say it again, you are truly are the the Monty python of TH-cam world! Love that watch!
Hey buddy, Thank you so much for your feedback, and I'm so pleased you enjoy my content. Some think I play around, but when it comes to a tutorial I'm very much into the finer detailing, and always want to cover every aspect. I will be making followup videos with my GG-B100 just to top up the inventory to what this Mudmaster can do. I'm pleased you're happy with adaptors, and nice to have these mods to make the watch feel perfect for all day wearing :) It's currently the G-Shock I wear the most, so many reasons why, and I don't need to tell you that :) Thanks again for your comment, support and feedback... HaPpY Weekend :)
Hey,also wanna thank you ! You are the reason why i brought it at the end, first day at work with the GG 100 is amazing, already love the watch. Is by the way my first g shock. I have a luminox day field over 5 years very happy but simple. Bless up and greetings from Holland ☀️❤️💚
Very awesome tutorial! This is my main watch and I didn’t realize I could record waypoints while logging nor track back during a mission log either. Thanks for that. It’s very impressive for a digital-analog. I love this thing!
I love finding new things about a watch, have just found out in one of the test screens on the GW-B5600 it shows the times when it was last synced :)) I'm really really enjoying my GG-B100 too... the way it triggers the phone to record data is very smart, and this is why the GG-B100 can multitask... track back while tracking me while taking taking REC's and you can also set the alarms too... and once you've done a REC while LOGGED, you can open your device and see that waypoint, you don't need to wait to finish. I will make a followup video, as there is a few things I want to cover in more depth. Cheers for the feedback, and hope you stayed awake for all of it, if not, time stamps are in the description... thanks again my friend :)
I am truly impressed. It is because of your thorough review that I bought my first G-Shock although I am a mechanical watch afficionado. Congrats! You got yourself a loyal follower. Kudos!
Thank you for your support my friend, and that you find my content useful. I don't post as much as I used too, but am still responding to questions and my opinions upon what watch would work best.... I'm surprised there's not more dislikes with a movie tutorial of 1hr and 43mins... some don't like such length, but this video includes everything in one place... cheers for the feedback my friend :))
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman I specially appreciated the live demo. I had to figure that one out by myself with the manual, which was still fun anyway. I really would've liked seeing this back then before I got it haha... thanks for the super long video, I did watch the tutorial fully, it's a super complex, extremely good value for money watch.
@@TT_R89 Cheers buddy... the learning is fun, it's exploring those new features, and very satisfying... Wow and I thought I made long videos lol amazing the detail and editing in this video. Chase the summit is another watch fan that is fun. Love the humour you add in.
Cheers buddy... it's these types of videos that really take time up, and I can't make videos like this each week, unless I had a film crew to follow me... but I always enjoy making tutorials, and enjoy going beyond too, even if wild horses are joining me like in my navigational video with my Fenix 6 Pro, they were really pesky that day, as I usually give them a little apple treat, so they knew me for sure LML :-P Cheers for the feedback :)
You asked why don’t you want one of these and I said I do and went to our local watch shop and bought one. I’ve been watching your videos for about a month now and I am officially a watch nut. I went from owning 0 to owing a Garmin Instinct, G shock Rangeman and the GGB-100 which is my favorite and the one I wear all the time. I don’t know how I went 45 years without a G Shock on my wrist
I'm glad you're living the same as me with regards to the GG-B100, absolutely gutted I didn't go for it earlier in 2019, but thanks to a subscriber and few channels, this made my decision easy and it has kicked 3 G-Shocks out of my collection because it's so good! I've always had a watch since very young, and CASIO was my main brand.. I do have some luxury ones, but don't wear them often, and to be honest, find them dull compared to a G-Shock... just love having the functions always ready on the wrist... but I am getting into another brand called LUMINOX, and have just bought my first so will crack a review of it... it's an addictive hobby and nobody knows why a watch can do this... but the beauty is there is no limitations to how you use them or which ones you should enjoy, just feel free to use channels like mine to view them, then it's your free choice... some channels like to say which socks to wear with what what, as for me, anything goes :-P Cheers and HaPpY Weekend :)
Took a long time to produce it too, and I cocked up about the backlight, but the main meat menu is all there... cheers for that massive boost of a comment my friend, am pleased many like this video, as for me, it's still the most worn G-Shock :))
@@nickl3872 Cheers buddy... huge support at the moment... but have to say, there are many other good channels too, like Watch Geek when it comes to details in a tutorial :)) But thank you!

LML I'm not a guru, that would be our friend gshock highfashion, but when it comes to details on how it works, then I really want to share all it can offer, thus why some of my tutorials are so long... now, I have found a test screen/mode on the GG-B100, but it's hit and miss how to get into it, so am working further to find that sweat spot to share... it feels like it'll only enter that mode when the second hand is in a certain position, but doesn't always work. Once I've nailed it, I will share of course :) Cheers for your feedback my friend :))))
Cheers for your feedback firstly my friend... well this GG-B100 has pushed out 5 G-Shocks from my collection, and these have been flipped... It's the most worn watch now, as it covers everything, so have been wearing it for home improvements and my hikes... I will follow up with more content, especially the battery side, as I feel a few are walking away because the no solar and MB6... so need to address the good points they're not looking into... cheers :))
Many thanks for making this tutorial, I just bought a Pro Trek PRT-B50 with the exact features, probably it has a similar module inside, minus the gshock/protection/mud/carbon/whatever specs. Your tutorial is brilliant, I've searched a long time for a review of how to use those locations/logs/indicators and just couldn't find one. So, for everyone wandering, if you own a Casio Pro Trek PRT-B50 and don't know how to use it, just watch this video. A million thanks :)
Cheers for your wonderful comment my friend :) It's pretty much the same module with regards to functions, but the PRT-B50 do have the positive LCD side, thus why it has a different module number. The ProTrek's are not so bulky as G-Shock's, mainly as they can slip under a sleeve, while G-Shocks pack more padding as these are meant to be used on the outside of the sleeve. Great module and would like to make my GG-B100 with a positive display, sometimes in low lighting it needs a backlight to view the details. Cheers once again my friend :)
Just ordered the black version of this watch. I’m really excited for it to arrive and this review / tutorial is making it more so. Thanks for such an in-depth video. It’s excellent.
Congrats my friend :)) The GG-B100 is a perfect everyday watch, you'll be surprised how light it is, but don't think because of that lightweight makes it feel cheap, carbon composite is an incredible material, it's stronger than steel... but the way it looks really makes it look premium! The barometer is the best from all the G-Shocks I've used, as the 20min/1hr graph really gives you live updates :) Forgot about the battery side, this is nothing compared to having a watch you can use without worrying it needs a charge in the sunshine... the Bluetooth side is where you can really custom the modes/display how you like it :) Please let us know your thoughts when it has landed... cheers for your feedback, really appreciate that side :))
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman thank you Sir! I’m really excited about the barometer feature and being able to customise the order of the functions through the app. I will be sure to let you know how I get on with it. Hope you’ve had a great bank holiday. 👍🏻

Just received by watch and so far I am loving it. Your time stamps were really useful in getting it setup. The only thing I noticed is that I couldn’t get the second hand perfectly in line with the other. Each step is quite large in comparison to the hour and minute hands. But other than that it’s nothing but fantastic.
@@simoncarter679 Hey buddy... if you're not happy with the alignment, then get it replaced... I say this, as we tend to flip at one point and that could have an effect on the after sale??? Personally for me, I'm not worried, but mine is spot on... so in home time, does the second hand hit the markers? Cheers :))
Thank you guys, and yes this video has a lot of detail, but you know me by now, and it's a side I really enjoy filming and producing... it's about helping to understand a brilliant watch... thanks again for another great service, always a pleasure cheers :))

@@jonclegg8903 One thing the GG-B100 does better than the GW-9400 is pretty much everything, as low lighting isn't an issue with that analog dial, but it's the ABC side that really makes it glow... and when you make a REC, this data is transferred to the app, so perfect for many uses including time stamps, and talking of those, in the description you'll find a quick set to what you need to know... thanks again buddy :)

i just bought this watch same colour as yours, and wow, its such a nice looking watch so glad i went for this colour, I love it, and this tutorial was perfect to explain how everything works. Great work thankyou i'll definetly be watching this a few times so I can master how to use it, casio should include something like this not everyone likes or can read manuals, and the manual they include only has basic instructions, you can download a manual but they don't make it very intuitive, if they just included a card with a few QR codes linking to a video like this and the full manual, it would really help especially when theres so many functions, thanks again much appreciated of your hard work putting this together, bloody brilliant!
Wow... i have just bought it orange color and never see in such details like you mention....... you have explained very detail for all functions......Really great and i have to test my watch again after your video..

Another great vid brother. I've been staring at the GBR-200. I love the look of it. I am a proponent of tough Solar. The thought of running out of power with no way to charge if you are in an area with out access to a battery replacement bothers me. There are many perks to these watches. In the end I have plenty of watches and I do not "need" another watch. I would really like to see more watches like this with tough solar.
Cheers buddy :) Unless it offers something new, I don't buy it just to have another in the collection... my GG-B100 replaced 5 G-Shocks, with regards to battery, this isn't an issue, I will be making a video on this side later so you'll understand why battery was used. If you don't need it, then there's no point, unless it will replace one you have? I don't have many G-Shocks that are used for their purpose, but the GG-B100 does get the most time these days, mainly because it's so light and comfortable... if they added solar with wireless charging then that's the best of both worlds... will get my battery video done this month so you'll see why... cheers :))

Congrats my friend... I will be making a video on the battery side, which helps explain why the GG-B100 is battery only, hopefully this clears up the concerns many are having, as they think by not having solar it's a deal breaker... takes 10mins to replace the battery and gasket, and if you're not a heavy user, can see it lasting more towards 3yrs. I really like it, and my poor GW-9400 is not getting any wrist time at the moment because of it! Cheers :))
thanks again! watchup, I've had this watch for a lil over a year now and didnt know it recorded information to REC every time you entered altimeter. I thought that had to be logged! So, now I know now to mess with altitude unless I really want to deal with the full features of the watch!.

My everyday watch is the GWG1000-1A3. But I switched out the green band for black…. Perfect now! Absolutely love it, I never use the atomic feature but the solar is awesome and works very well. Prior to the GWG1000, I wore my GGB100-1B. Excellent watch for the price! Very bright led light, in fact, it’s brighter than the gwg1000. I wish the led in the gwg1000 was as bright as the ggb100! Great review!
That's great to hear you're wearing the GWG-1000 everyday, I must say for a big watch, it does wear well... no slipping off the wrist bone either :) The GG-B100 still offers more functions, especially the Barometer side with the graph combo's and how it syncs with the phone... but without the phone it's still an amazing watch, and the price is really good, and for me gives many ABC G-Shocks are running competition! But the GWG-1000 is tough solar, but not just tough solar, but the fact that the hands are independent, so when hand shifting on the GWG-1000 it's often much quicker...In my review, I won't be going down that path which is better, this is more about what the watch offers more to you, it's not about opinions, this has to be pushed out... but what makes the GWG-1000 so great, that's where I need to explore, and owning one will give me that answer :)) Cheers for the feedback too my friend :))
Great review ,very detailed.I love my Mudmaster .I only have the £350 one but I never use any of the features so just as well really lol .Just love a big chunky 3 hander and fits around my wrist like it was made to measure .Super comfortable .

This is the BEST watch review and tutorial EVER. Actually I am planning to buy that model, and this video will be very helpful if I buy it. hank you for making this video. Also, have a good day!
Cheers buddy for the feedback, and I'm so pleased the video has helped. It is the most worn watch I use, and I am working on a video to explain why it has battery only without solar, it'll be fun, but will show the true side of battery only. Have you decided on which combo?? Cheers and you too have a great day, or is that night time :))
Hi Eveytime it corrects time it will correct altimeter too. That is how mine does it. If you correct altimeter manual then it wont do it automatic for next 12 hours. So auto correction in the app is for altimeter and time correction. Read auto altitude calibration in the manual. Thank for a great video
I bought that one you have. I can live without solar and you can't get atomic time in Australia. Only blemish for me is those hex head screws that secure the bumper over the red pressure thing. Would be nice if they were hex head too.
Battery Change I have looked over what to expect in changing the battery on the gg b100 and for those who have done this kind of work before themselves it is a bit more time consuming but not difficult. I plan on removing both straps completely as to have the watch body balanced and level to be worked on. Once the straps are removed it is an easy battery exchange. I would recommend every 2 to 3 years having the watch pressure checked to have the gasket's ability maintained. I would advise that all watches, even solar watches, to be pressure checked for the gasket's ability to seal especially if the watch would be subject to adverse conditions. As an aside, a water molecule may look like an elephant compared to a virus which can only be seen with an electron microscope.
Cheers for this information with your experience :) If sent away to CASIO they replace the gasket and test for water pressure... but replacing the gasket each time is affordable yourself, just add some silicon to the gasket just to keep it protected :)) I've got one of those gasket silicon pots which has a sponge inside, you can see me replace a battery in my DW-9900 Frogman video, just to see how I do mine. Cheers :) Btw, was on my GG-B100 this afternoon, as I needed that 1hr graph :))
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman I use the barometer feature the most with my watches and this watch gives the most complete information with very few button presses. I have set the watch up via the app to remove the functions I rarely use to speed up the information for my personal use. I like too, the use of the second hand as a view the recent and immediate change pressure rise or drop. I agree with you, changing the battery and lubing the gasket can be learned, and a good watch repair can test the seal in a few minutes of actual work with the right tools and what should be a modest price. A dive shop if near might be a good place too. Sending off to a repair facility is always an option too. :)
@@artemisXsidecross It has become the most worn G-Shock for daily... did 11'800 steps yesterday, how accurate I don't think so, but it shows I was active and proved to Mrs Rangeman I wasn't lazy LML :-P I will make that video on the battery side, have an idea I want to make, so it really shows the difference once and for all... but there will be the die hard solar fans, so have to be gentle with them :)) Cheers!
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman That was a very active day! The step counter is like time and it is relative to itself; as long as you compare it only to the gg b100 it can be an excellent indicator. I watched a few videos of the battery change on this watch, once the strap is removed from the watch body it is straight forward. With the band on or even just one band on it is difficult to keep the watch level and keep all those little springs in their place. :) I Will look forward to your video on it.
@@artemisXsidecross I would remove both straps, just nice not to have it tipping one side, and you just have to knock the strap slightly and it'll tip... have you got one of those blue silicon mats like mine? Really perfect for this type of surgery.... new video out tomorrow my dear friend :))
End Notes on GG B100 A short coming on the watch is an inability for a battery read out of its current status, but even so this is the watch I currently use for time and barometer information while keeping the compass and altimeter readings for emergency use. To conserve battery, I have through the app disengaged 'timer', 'alarms', 'Record Logs', 'Step Counting', 'Temperature Reading', 'Map Tracking' 'Light Button', 'All Audio Signals', and use the 'Bluetooth Function once a month to set time'. In place of the use of the 'Light Button' I use a Nitecore TINI 2 light on a 1/8 inch or 3 mm elastic cord around my neck. The TINI 2 has an area of only 60% of the BB100's dial and a total weight with cord of 18 grams. The screen for digital information is hard to read when not in outside sun and have found this to be a good solution. I would expect a longer than two year battery use. For more adventurous use I use my g-shock Rangeman 9400 and now use the Mudman BB100 as my daily watch. :)
I feel 2yrs is conservative, as you're not wearing it every single day, am thinking maybe closer to 3yrs.... I have been heavy with use, setting the BARO quite often with the 1hr graph on as well... the Altitude is also getting used often. I will be comparing the GG-B100 to the GWG-1000 for what they are, not about who's best... I still want those extra features on the GG-B100, but if I had to flip between the GG-B100 my GW-9400, my honest answer would be the GG-B100... the sub-dial on the GW-9400 might as well be a picture of Donald Trump LML :-P I have removed the lines on mine to make it better, but compared to the GG-B100 the ABC side is so much more visible... but the GW-9400 is still one of the best intuitive G-Shocks, and for an all LCD G-Shock is does pack a nice layout on the display, just that sub-dial is just not right... the Garmin Instinct sub-dial is brilliant, and maybe a MIP display for the Gen3 Rangeman GW-9400, now that would be very cool indeed :) Thanks again my friend for a great comment :))
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman I agree with your critique and consider the Mudmaster b100 a better watch for using in the field than the Rangeman 9400. If I continue to enjoy the Mudmaster b100, I might purchase a second one after 18 months or so to have two, one with a fresh battery while I change the other's battery. As the original Mudmaster gwg 1000 is getting long in the tooth, being brought to the market place in 2016, I am hoping for a newer version including the mudmaster b100 features and possibly usb-c charging. The mudmaster gwg1000 uses two 395 silver oxide batteries in series with a capacity of 110 mAh at 3 volts while the mudmaster uses a lithium 2025 battery with 165 mAh at 3 volts. Solar charging may be a solution for some people depending on location and power consumption, but a rechargeable usb-c or induction option might be an option heavy users of the b100's capabilities. All and all the mudmaster b100 is a great watch with very few short comings and an opportunity to make an even better version soon. :)
@@artemisXsidecross The GW-9400 is still an impressive watch, and great value too... the prices are creeping up on them too I've noticed, but with legibility when using the Altimeter and my favourite the Barometer, then that wins hands down, literally :-P The battery replacement won't take you long, just have a battery ready next year maybe, then enjoy looking inside :) The GWG may have some old tech, but hopefully my first video will explain the great side of it... but owning both does have place... am really enjoying the stand alone side on the GWG-1000, in a few ways that's better than the GW-9400, but it has the side of being more expensive so not for everyone, plus the GW-9400 is full LCD display and does have a nice layout, apart from the tiny sub-dial :-P Hopefully start filming by mid-week for the review of the GWG-1000, and the GG-B100 will be featured next to it, as I feel these two are really the ones to go for as solid all rounders :)) Cheers!
Great tutorial, but maybe I was asleep at the time, I did not see where you covered the function of the "Indicator" scale on the face of the watch. What is its purpose? The manual leaves me totally clueless, help!
I have just had the battery replaced on mine after two years it cost me £25 included was a pressure test but the good news i only paid once it now gets replaced for free for the life of the watch and not the owner so who ever inherits my collection doesn’t have to worry about the GGB100
Thank you for this detailed tutorial which has led to my ordering this watch today. I wanted to order the newest Rangeman or gwg-1000 mudmaster, but both were available only from Japan. The gg-100 seems to be the most advanced new g-shock easily available in the usa market and it fits my needs next to my Rangeman 9400 and gw-a1000 gravitymaster. The weight of the gg-100 is even less than my older rangeman-9400. Again thank you WatchUP MrRangeman :)
Hey buddy... I'll be interested to know if you'll wear it more than the GW-9400? I've really taken to my GG-B100 over the GW-9400, despite the Rangeman still being an incredible and capable G-Shock... looking forward to your thoughts when it lands... cheers for the update :))
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman This new Mudman is everything that you have explained and has put g-shock into newer capabilities of what they could be providing down the line. As a pure battery powered analog quartz watch with perpetual calendar this g-shock has no competition. At 93 grams it is 1 gram lighter than my Rangeman 9400. The app with its Bluetooth technology and connection to the watch is a big plus too. Its short coming is its screen for the information this watch is capable of providing. This new Mudman is still a great accomplishment of the newer technology available today, and like yourself I would recommend it to others without hesitation. Also the lume by itself is quite good, but the lighted dial is over-kill and a draw back in by opinion. Again my appreciation to WatchUP69 Mr Rangeman for his expertise and excellent production of his watch tutorials and commentary. :)
@@artemisXsidecross It would gain with a slightly bigger display like the one used on the new G-Steel's, but still very useable with the fine matrix LCD used... thanks once again and pleased you love it too... battery only does mean you can continuously use it without worry, as solar batteries do deplete quicker, so guess that was the reason... will be hitting a further video on that side :))
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman This new Mudman can easily replace my older Marathon GSAR as pure analog watch, and with all the added features it is an excellent watch at a much more affordable price. I would agree that a more powerful battery watch can supply more energy than a solar powered battery watch. I would like to see Casio update this design with an easier to read screen for us elders and auxiliary charging like your newest Rangeman. The next new G-shocks will be anticipated my many.
@@artemisXsidecross I've already composed a new G-Shock, and with the addition of an external charging, this might be a great option, especially those who cane these ABC watches... it doesn't take too long to get a solar G-Shock down to 'M' when the sensors are having a good time under the fingers... solar watches are good when maintained and used in a sparingly way as to their manual, but using the compass for a whole day, does draw the cells from the battery... I would see a two battery setup being useful, with an easy access opening to the non rechargeable battery, like on SWATCH watches for an example... but to be honest, replacing a battery isn't rocket science along with a gasket, do them all the time and it's actually enjoyable seeing it from that side :))
Thank you and so pleased you like the video... I wanted to share all it can do including the tour around a field with horses and cows... It is the most used G-Shock in my collection, just performs perfectly and that Barometer is just the best on any G-Shock... I have the GWG-1000 and that's a great watch, but compared to the GG-B100 offers more. I will actually replace the battery before I set it up. I have a watch repair setup in my house. I have over 50 watches from Tag Huer, to Vostok, one G-shock, a few Diesel, Casio edifice, and watches I collected over 40 years I found tucked away and repaired with new batteries. Not sure what all your watches look like, am not a guru in every watch, unless the ones I use, but it's nice to have selection, and I do like my secondary market deals, as some of them with their new pricing is often way too much. @@JohnDavis-ol7qg Just one thing to be careful, is using aftermarket adaptors, there has been many that have damaged their lugs due the strength issues... you see the original strap from G-Shock are part of the protection, so if you're using it in a not so tough way, then all is ok, but just have that to mind when it becomes more adventurous :) I have a few mechanical and automatics, and always have to adjust them before wearing, never keep them on a watch winder, as this might as well be a quartz watch :-P Have a great weekend my friend, and cheers for your side of collecting :))
I live in Norway (which is quite far north), and I love my solar powered G-shock. I just use it on a daily basis, and it get more than enough power from that. So I'm not sure if the battery argument holds water.
That's really interesting, as Norway does stretch a long way up and tops Sweden... had a few comments talking about how their solar G-Shocks are hard to charge in the winter months, and as I don't live the life where they are, I've just used their experience to say what I said... maybe they're into pot holing??? It also depends how much you're abusing the functions, especially the ABC and backlight, as battery only will out perform any solar watch if the used constantly over say a few weeks... good side for solar is that it can recharge, but battery only gives you a longer period of continuous use, it's just how the batteries differ... I will be making a video about this side, going more nurdy into the details with the differences between a regular lithium battery and rechargeable lithium. Cheers :)
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman Thinking of it, it might also depend on whether you have an ana-digi or all digital watch. Mine is digital only. Might be less power hungry.

I had to watch it several times to really make sure I've added the correct details, and that those little glimpses of the instruction manual was featured when needed... I was just about to upload it, then forgot the mention that the minute hand moves 6 time per minute, so instead of just mentioning it, I got the camera out again just to film that quick shot, now that's either anal or passionate LML :-P Cheers for the feedback my friend :)
Hi great video. Do you know if it has a stop watch function like the dive timer on a frogman. So it moves the hands as a stop watch, rather than needing to look at that terrible tiny reverse display.?? Thank you
An Excellent movie! I can't find a more detailed review of GG-B100 than this one. It is one of a kind at the moment. Admirations! My favorite part is where you switch off the functions you don't use. An Excellent way to reduce the cluttering of mode button function. Use what you want, depending of the situation and need at the moment. This definitely increases the Versatility factor of the watch in my opinion. As I've mentioned before - I love helicopters, and I will go for GR-B200 because of that. Hope, it will be available when I'm financially ready to pull the trigger (EST 3-4 months).
Cheers buddy and glad you enjoyed the movie :)) That Mode and Display custom side is really cool... I have Timer and Baro only in the Modes right now :) I would imagine this will be running for a few years, such a fantastic watch, and forget the solar side, that's just a battery, it's what it can do in those 2yrs :))) I'm very impressed, more that I should say. Now, is their a nickname for the B200 version, like HeliMaster??? ChopperMaster??? or just call it 'The Apache' now that's cool :))) Cheers and lets us know when you do pull the trigger literally :)
There are two points on the clock that the compass calibration doesn't spin the watch backwards. These two points are within the 11th hour and the 5th. When you calibrate it. The hands part at 2 points on each side of the watch. At 11 the watch will spin up to 2. and then CONTINUE around the clock back to the 11th hour. Same for the 5th hour it will spin up to 8 and then continue around the clock back to 5. It's not a HUGE importance. Except when you go to calibrate it at any other time it runs itself over. AND you'r barometric readouts on the top left button become smudged. Next time your in the 5th hour or 11th hour go ahead and figure 8 calibrate the compass and youll understand what I am talking about. This goes for the grb200 too. I am assuming. its the same watch.
It's like CASIO sell these watches to people who haven't a clue, if they made G-Shock shoes, it'll have a print to say how to slip your foot in I'm sure LML :-P Glad you're on the same way of view my friend :)) Cheers!
Man do they still make the rangeman? I think it was a rangeman it was like the first watch you compared it to? I have a gwg-1000 and love it, I live in California where it’s always sunny and for 300 more bucks I’m happy but to each is own, I’m digging that rangeman though.
If you mean the GPR-B1000 Rangeman, then this is no longer in production... not sure to why, but CASIO have mentioned when they discontinue it's usually because of a new version, but in this case, there's no mention of a new Rangeman! There are some used ones around, with some good deals especially if it has been looked after with all the box and papers, so if you really want one, then there's a solution. I feel the GPR-B1000 was stopped due to production costs, it simply has a lot of body and functions, and is still the only GPS navigational G-Shock that isn't a smart watch, so won't become like a smart watch after 7 or so years :)) CA is always sunny, but at the moment here in the UK it's sunny :)) Cheers!

Hi - brilliant review and guide as usual. I love the Mudmaster but I have one question. I find the step counter pretty inaccurate (counts steps when I’m sitting down!). Do I just have to live with this or can the sensitivity be recalibrated? Thanks for any advice...
Cheers buddy for the feedback :) As this watch uses a 3 axis giro, it uses your wrist actions to calculate the steps, and even drinking coffee will add steps, and this goes pretty much for many step counting watches... you shouldn't have a vast amount of steps at the desk, maybe 500 in the morning, so having that to mind, you could calculate the total once you get out into the fresh air. Not sure if SLOPE being turned on makes any difference???
I find any temp watch needs to be off the skin, unless in water... only needs to be off the wrist for 20mins to get a good reading, it's designed as a backup if needed mostly... best temp on a watch is my GWF-D1000 Frogman, this is very fast but even better in water, perfect to know when to boil your eggs LML :-P I don't use the temp on either of my Garmin's, should give it a try and see how it compares to some of my G-Shock's :)) Cheers!

I guess one could overcome the “only visited locations” via the developer tools' mock location app (just fake your GPS location, save the target, and good to go) but also, in my case, a problem comes with the access grants the G-Shock app can choose from, as the “allow all the time” is not there hence making it impossible to keep the phone away from my hands. I would never rely on the watch alone to do this in certain conditions, but I find the feature very premature. Great watch nevertheless. Cheers for the review, sir.

Hi I don't suppose I can ask for a bit of help? From your video I can work my watch but in the app, in All Activity with points recorded and way Points there's no map as on your phone. There is a light grey section connected to the way point log but no detail and definitely no red line. Please can you shed some light on the problem. My phone is a iPhone 5s all up to date and maps works on other apps. Thanks for your time Kelvin
Hey buddy, As long as you have a data signal on your phone... 1. Open the App (don’t need to be connected with the watch) 2. Tap on the settings icon top right of the screen 3. Select the Mudmaster or Gravitymaster (GG-B100 for example) 4. Tap on ‘Activity map display settings’ 5. If this is turned off that’ll be the reason for the grey area, now turning this on will use your data to include the mapping (this is handy for those who are limited on data) That should solve your issue, but let me know... cheers buddy ;)
@@kelvinjowett4538 So pleased my friend, it was the first thing I thought of, but it's also mentioned in the video, that when turned off will show no mapping data... but it's a super long video, and I had the answer to hand so all good to ask... cheers for updating me :))
Wow Watch Geek level of instruction. I have the Gravity Master GR-B200 and found this tutorial very very useful. Thank you for producing this upload. 👍😀
No, not as good as Watch Geek, and he's a big favourite of mine, as he's nailed many more tutorials than me, but will take that as a huge compliment :) Works perfectly for your Gravitymaster... now did you know there's another ProTrek version that a viewer mentioned, that has what ours as, but includes the TIDE... Thanks for the most comprehensive review on the net! Can I make waypoints and record a log if I am not paired to the phone? Maybe pair them later to view the route? Seems like if you are out all day this would drain your phone battery.
Hey buddy... well thank you firstly for your feedback, much appreciated :)) So think of the GG-B100 as a trigger to the phone, much like how a selfie stick works... the phone is already connected to the network so won't use that much more energy, as it works while in standby. The watch can only store the REC side of the Altimeter which is 14 saving Date/Time/Altitude, but when connected then this data gets transferred to the phone which can show the location in coordinates along with a map of that area. The GG-B100 isn't stand alone on this side, needs the phone to. Now, the GPR-B1000 does this, and you can use the point memos from the watch to make waypoints, it's kind of primitive, but you can make it work. Now, if you're wanting more from your hikes/walks, then maybe try a Garmin Instinct, used ones are really cheap now, and I must say, for the money and for what you get, this does leave G-Shocks in the dark ages... but it's a smart(ish) watch, so will have an end of life in about 10yrs maybe, but it's about the now and what you need the most with regards to data and having a stand alone watch. If I need stand alone, then the GPR-B1000, Fenix 6Pro and the Instinct. The GG-B100 has the best Barometer in the G-Shock world, and for an everyday watch it's just perfect :) Hope that helps you my friend :)) Cheers!
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman Thanks for your insight. Let me explain what I was thinking. I am an assignment photographer that is on a quest for the perfect travel watch. The GG-B100 and the PRT-B50 both tick off many of my boxes. I love the easy way to change time zones, the compass, the barometer and even the sunrise and sunset. All those functions could be pretty handy in the field while shooting an assignment. If that was all I needed, I might even go with the PRG-600. I love the clear and legible dial on that watch the best of all of them. However, that watch is not Bluetooth, so it lacks many handy features. It doesn't show the city name digitally. My site isn't what it used to be, so reading the tiny city codes around the bezel isn't always easy. Sorry I digress. I have found that the GG-B100 and the PRT-B50 create a GPX file in their respective apps. This is useful for me, as I can export that file and then import it into Adobe Lightroom and sync it with any photos I took with my camera (not cell camera) while the log was running. This works if the camera and the phone's time are the same. By doing this, I can tag the photos with the GPS location. Yes, the app does this with photos from the phone, but I am talking from my Fujifilm GFX, a 50mp professional camera. I currently use an app that allows me to do this, but it drains much of the phone's battery if I am shooting all day. I've had my phone die on several occasions doing this with the geotagging app. So that's a very long explanation why I wonder if having the watch logging (linked to the phone) for a long time (as in 8+ hours) uses up a lot of the phone's battery throughout the day?
@@MattBrandon Thank you for your reply... feel we need a phone chat... maybe via WhatsApp... my number is found on my Website, and I feel talking over it will be easier... am very impressed with your photography side coming from an amateur like myself... if that's an idea then WhatsApp me with a fully loaded phone and we'll go from there... maybe together we can find the perfect watch? So, I'm quite lost with the barometric pressure change sensor alarm signalling. It works in all watch modes? I've got it to beep to alarm you of a change. but sometimes it doesnt show the arrow when it does. especially in altitude mode. I am aware with a big enough change the alarm WILL alarm you even in altitude mode with the BARO feature enabled. But, I DO know how its designed is if BARO is on and a change occurs it will beep to alarm you and you can use the top left button to see which way the arrow is pointing. (ive experimented with all this by dunking it under water.) just a few inches of water can throw the barometer off wildly. maybe do a video on all this?
Hey buddy... in my tutorial I did place my GG-B100 in pressure pot to sound the BARO alarm... so when you hear the alarm, going back into the Barometer will show you the arrow or icon for the sudden air pressure, and it won't be visible in all modes. From Home time, you need to select the Barometer graph either with date or full graph, and there you'll see the warning arrow. A good idea of dunking it in water to force the alarm on, but for filming my pressure pot is easier. Let me know if what I said works for you... cheers :)
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman yeh, totally i just was trying to figure what was going on because mines a lil low on battery and it was alarming the sound and not showing the arrows or showing the arrow and not sounding the alarm.

I wanted that brass button :)) So many Mudmaster's in the intro, thought that would make a great entrance... what do you think of my new logo??? cool isn't it, and it was made by this guy who has the GWG-1000 that now wants the GG-B100 after wasting 9yrs watching this video LML :-P Cheers my good friend :)
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman It's a great looking watch and the video helped to pick up details you don't normally see from the images. Yeah that was brilliant, I think it's the Mudmaster range I prefer design-wise. The logo looks amazing 👌😻 completes the channel! Almost 9yrs lol Cheers dude! 👊
@@Watch-Crazy I get many comments about the new logo, and I'm still in shock you took the time to design it, and then surprise me with it, how could I ignore that and not use it... cheers my friend as always :))
Thank you so much mate. The joy of collecting is also to help others along the way.
@@traviswalker8933 It is... I like to be know as passionate then a know it all... feel it makes you more approachable.... whereas when you listen to a channel that's full of information they're basically just reading, doesn't bring that warmth if that makes sense... I'm like the door is open and lets have a lovely chat about it all while eating cake of course :-P
Thanks again my friend :))
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman thats a thing becoming rare these days. Glad to hear your insight about this.
Best g shock reviews on the internet. Casio should pay Him for customer services provided.
My friend, I really enjoy helping, and can answer quickly, as most of the time I have the answer, I know I know how to search for it... some aren't geared like my thinking, maybe because I have a different view with my disability.. but I really value feedback the most, especially with those that I've helped :)
So, have you just bought the GG-B100 or on the thinking side??
Cheers once again for your kind compliment :))
Bro, this is way more detailed than technical training.
You made this G Shock watch far more clever than it should be. Well done for such a perfect review.
CASIO should have engaged you as their “product ambassador”. Very well shot and I am sure lots of efforts put in to get this perfect video out !
Thank you for such a great video.
When it comes to a tutorial I just get 110% into it, and I really enjoy showing all it can do :)
It really is a great G-Shock, and one for everyday :)
Thank you for the huge amount of support and feedback my good friend, this really makes me so HaPpY :)))

That's what I was aiming for... some good tutorials, but I needed to add a few wild horses with some cows in a field to make really complete LML :-P
Cheers for the feedback my friend :)
I just bought one because of the video thank you sir. Waiting for delivery now
Best tutorial out there by far. Thank you for your time used to give us watch virgins some well needed information and inspiration.
There are some other good tutorials especially from Watch Geek... but I wanted to cover a little more, and of course that makes a long video, but with time stamps in the description, you'll always have a video for your needs :))
Has a good few quirks, and sometimes you'll forget, but with using it often that'll soon bridge the virgin areas :))
Cheers for the feedback, very welcome indeed my friend :)
Hey buddy,
Thank you so much for your feedback, and I'm so pleased you enjoy my content. Some think I play around, but when it comes to a tutorial I'm very much into the finer detailing, and always want to cover every aspect. I will be making followup videos with my GG-B100 just to top up the inventory to what this Mudmaster can do.
I'm pleased you're happy with adaptors, and nice to have these mods to make the watch feel perfect for all day wearing :)
It's currently the G-Shock I wear the most, so many reasons why, and I don't need to tell you that :)
Thanks again for your comment, support and feedback...
I love finding new things about a watch, have just found out in one of the test screens on the GW-B5600 it shows the times when it was last synced :))
I'm really really enjoying my GG-B100 too... the way it triggers the phone to record data is very smart, and this is why the GG-B100 can multitask... track back while tracking me while taking taking REC's and you can also set the alarms too... and once you've done a REC while LOGGED, you can open your device and see that waypoint, you don't need to wait to finish.
I will make a followup video, as there is a few things I want to cover in more depth.
Cheers for the feedback, and hope you stayed awake for all of it, if not, time stamps are in the description... thanks again my friend :)
I am truly impressed. It is because of your thorough review that I bought my first G-Shock

You never disappoint, thank you! Amazing, loved the detailed intro, I hadn't appreciated those details so much until you mentioned some of them.

Cheers buddy... it's these types of videos that really take time up, and I can't make videos like this each week, unless I had a film crew to follow me... but I always enjoy making tutorials, and enjoy going beyond too, even if wild horses are joining me like in my navigational video with my Fenix 6 Pro, they were really pesky that day, as I usually give them a little apple treat, so they knew me for sure LML :-P
Cheers for the feedback :)
I do have some luxury ones, but don't wear them often, and to be honest, find them dull compared to a G-Shock... just love having the functions always ready on the wrist... but I am getting into another brand called LUMINOX, and have just bought my first so will crack a review of it... it's an addictive hobby and nobody knows why a watch can do this... but the beauty is there is no limitations to how you use them or which ones you should enjoy, just feel free to use channels like mine to view them, then it's your free choice... some channels like to say which socks to wear with what what, as for me, anything goes :-P
Cheers and HaPpY Weekend :)

Just when i thought i was the GURO of watches, i watched you do an excellent job!
Once I've nailed it, I will share of course :)
Cheers for your feedback my friend :))))
I’m looking to get one of these - definitely the best review out there. Thanks for a great and thorough run through of what this watch can do
Cheers for your feedback firstly my friend... well this GG-B100 has pushed out 5 G-Shocks from my collection, and these have been flipped...
Cheers for your wonderful comment my friend :)
It's pretty much the same module with regards to functions, but the PRT-B50 do have the positive LCD side, thus why it has a different module number.
The PRT-B50 also has neon illumination which is much better for the analog portion for viewing in the dark without letting your presence known.
Just ordered the black version of this watch. I’m really excited for it to arrive and this review / tutorial is making it more so. Thanks for such an in-depth video. It’s excellent.
Congrats my friend :))
The GG-B100 is a perfect everyday watch, you'll be surprised how light it is, but don't think because of that lightweight makes it feel cheap, carbon composite is an incredible material, it's stronger than steel... but the way it looks really makes it look premium! The barometer is the best from all the G-Shocks I've used, as the 20min/1hr graph really gives you live updates :)
Forgot about the battery side, this is nothing compared to having a watch you can use without worrying it needs a charge in the sunshine... the Bluetooth side is where you can really custom the modes/display how you like it :)
Please let us know your thoughts when it has landed... cheers for your feedback, really appreciate that side :))

Cheers :))

Unless it offers something new, I don't buy it just to have another in the collection... my GG-B100 replaced 5 G-Shocks, with regards to battery, this isn't an issue, I will be making a video on this side later so you'll understand why battery was used. If you don't need it, then there's no point, unless it will replace one you have?
I don't have many G-Shocks that are used for their purpose, but the GG-B100 does get the most time these days, mainly because it's so light and comfortable... if they added solar with wireless charging then that's the best of both worlds... will get my battery video done this month so you'll see why... cheers :))

That's great to hear you're wearing the GWG-1000 everyday, I must say for a big watch, it does wear well... no slipping off the wrist bone either :)
The GG-B100 still offers more functions, especially the Barometer side with the graph combo's and how it syncs with the phone... but without the phone it's still an amazing watch, and the price is really good, and for me gives many ABC G-Shocks are running competition!
But the GWG-1000 is tough solar, but not just tough solar, but the fact that the hands are independent, so when hand shifting on the GWG-1000 it's often much quicker...In my review, I won't be going down that path which is better, this is more about what the watch offers more to you, it's not about opinions, this has to be pushed out... but what makes the GWG-1000 so great, that's where I need to explore, and owning one will give me that answer :))
Cheers for the feedback too my friend :))

Hi
Eveytime it corrects time it will correct altimeter too.

I have looked over what to expect in changing the battery on the gg b100 and for those who have done this kind of work before themselves it is a bit more time consuming but not difficult.
Cheers :)
Btw, was on my GG-B100 this afternoon, as I needed that 1hr graph :))
@@artemisXsidecross It has become the most worn G-Shock for daily... did 11'800 steps yesterday, how accurate I don't think so, but it shows I was active and proved to Mrs Rangeman I wasn't lazy LML :-P
I will make that video on the battery side, have an idea I want to make, so it really shows the difference once and for all... but there will be the die hard solar fans, so have to be gentle with them :))

End Notes on GG B100
A short coming on the watch is an inability for a battery read out of its current status, but even so this is the watch I currently use for time and barometer information while keeping the compass and altimeter readings for emergency use.
I still want those extra features on the GG-B100, but if I had to flip between the GG-B100 my GW-9400, my honest answer would be the GG-B100... the sub-dial on the GW-9400 might as well be a picture of Donald Trump LML :-P I have removed the lines on mine to make it better, but compared to the GG-B100 the ABC side is so much more visible... but the GW-9400 is still one of the best intuitive G-Shocks, and for an all LCD G-Shock is does pack a nice layout on the display, just that sub-dial is just not right... the Garmin Instinct sub-dial is brilliant, and maybe a MIP display for the Gen3 Rangeman GW-9400, now that would be very cool indeed :)
Thanks again my friend for a great comment :))
@@artemisXsidecross The GW-9400 is still an impressive watch, and great value too... the prices are creeping up on them too I've noticed, but with legibility when using the Altimeter and my favourite the Barometer, then that wins hands down, literally :-P
The battery replacement won't take you long, just have a battery ready next year maybe, then enjoy looking inside :)
The GWG may have some old tech, but hopefully my first video will explain the great side of it... but owning both does have place... am really enjoying the stand alone side on the GWG-1000, in a few ways that's better than the GW-9400, but it has the side of being more expensive so not for everyone, plus the GW-9400 is full LCD display and does have a nice layout, apart from the tiny sub-dial :-P
Hopefully start filming by mid-week for the review of the GWG-1000, and the GG-B100 will be featured next to it, as I feel these two are really the ones to go for as solid all rounders :))

Cheers :)

Lol I couldn’t agree more about all the text on watch faces. Many times I passed up a watch for this reason. Great review, thanks!

I feel the GPR-B1000 was stopped due to production costs, it simply has a lot of body and functions, and is still the only GPS navigational G-Shock that isn't a smart watch, so won't become like a smart watch after 7 or so years :))
CA is always sunny, but at the moment here in the UK it's sunny :))

Hi - brilliant review and guide as usual. I love the Mudmaster but I have one question. I find the step counter pretty inaccurate (counts steps when I’m sitting down!). Do I just have to live with this or can the sensitivity be recalibrated? Thanks for any advice...
Cheers buddy for the feedback :)
As this watch uses a 3 axis giro, it uses your wrist actions to calculate the steps, and even drinking coffee will add steps, and this goes pretty much for many step counting watches... you shouldn't have a vast amount of steps at the desk, maybe 500 in the morning, so having that to mind, you could calculate the total once you get out into the fresh air. Not sure if SLOPE being turned on makes any difference???
How accurate is temperature does it take it from skin. The Tempe with garmin is great.
I find any temp watch needs to be off the skin, unless in water... only needs to be off the wrist for 20mins to get a good reading, it's designed as a backup if needed mostly... best temp on a watch is my GWF-D1000 Frogman, this is very fast but even better in water, perfect to know when to boil your eggs LML :-P
I don't use the temp on either of my Garmin's, should give it a try and see how it compares to some of my G-Shock's :))

From your video I can work my watch but in the app, in All Activity with points recorded and way
Points there's no map as on your phone.
There is a light grey section connected to the way point log but no detail and definitely no red line.
Please can you shed some light on the problem.
My phone is a iPhone 5s all up to date and maps works on other apps.
Thanks for your time
Kelvin
Hey buddy,
As long as you have a data signal on your phone...
1. Open the App (don’t need to be connected with the watch)
2. Tap on the settings icon top right of the screen
3. Select the Mudmaster or Gravitymaster (GG-B100 for example)
4. Tap on ‘Activity map display settings’
5. If this is turned off that’ll be the reason for the grey area, now turning this on will use your data to include the mapping (this is handy for those who are limited on data)
That should solve your issue, but let me know... cheers buddy ;)
Thanks that’s fixed the problem. I wouldn’t have found it without your help
@@kelvinjowett4538 So pleased my friend, it was the first thing I thought of, but it's also mentioned in the video, that when turned off will show no mapping data... but it's a super long video, and I had the answer to hand so all good to ask... cheers for updating me :))
This made up my mind now. I was thinking of this vs the rangeman 9400.
They could just have made this solar powered!
Wow Watch Geek level of instruction. I have the Gravity Master GR-B200 and found this tutorial very very useful. Thank you for producing this upload. 👍😀
No, not as good as Watch Geek, and he's a big favourite of mine, as he's nailed many more tutorials than me, but will take that as a huge compliment :)
Works perfectly for your Gravitymaster... now did you know there's another ProTrek version that a viewer mentioned, that has what ours as, but includes the TIDE... I know, was thinking the same... CASIO what are you doing... now, will that module fit in ours??? LML :-P
Thanks again buddy :))
Mr Rangeman, do you have a link for "your" PDF Manual for the GG-B100? I just received my watch. Thanks
Best tutorial out there by far. Thank you 🙂
I've got one of these and I'm pretty happy with it...
Thanks for the most comprehensive review on the net! Can I make waypoints and record a log if I am not paired to the phone? Maybe pair them later to view the route? Seems like if you are out all day this would drain your phone battery.
Hey buddy... well thank you firstly for your feedback, much appreciated :))
So think of the GG-B100 as a trigger to the phone, much like how a selfie stick works... the phone is already connected to the network so won't use that much more energy, as it works while in standby.
The GG-B100 has the best Barometer in the G-Shock world, and for an everyday watch it's just perfect :)
Hope that helps you my friend :))
Cheers!
Maybe it's not a G-Shock you need??
Thanks again and chat soon :))
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman Ill drop you a line, but you have two numbers. One ending in 35 and another ending in 70. Either one?
@@MattBrandon Mine ends with 35 ;)
Cheers!
@@typerightseesight Have you a LOW battery icon shown???
So have you managed to get the arrow shown now? cheers :)
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman no low battery but it does claim "recover" on the screen every now and then. but that can be from just pressing too many buttons even on a high end battery. im going to try and replace it myself. because i dont want to ship it in there is a tutorial on it on youtube. if that doesnt work and i break it ill buy that new smartwatch one. even tho all i want is a moon phase. if they made these ggb100s with a moon graph i would be set!
@@typerightseesight I saw that battery replacement video, but I would remove both straps to make it easier. Gasket should be fine, just add some silicon before screwing down the case back.
It is easy to replace the battery, just take your time and enjoy that side of maintenance ;)
Man, I really do hate the negative displays!!!! It always shakes me up every time I look at my Mudmaster!!!
Buddy, there's only two options you have, well three, but at least your Mudmaster is Shake resist!
Solar is great option in any hemisphere, as it charges the battery which will then last months.
Hello, awesome video, thank you I really do appreciate y'all. So informational 👍. I am curious why your model of the CASIO G-Shock Mudmaster GG-B100 is different than mine? The markers on your watch face are bright white where mine are not. Any ideas? 🤠
That Durex logo got me rollin'😁
Awesome review and tutorial! I bought 1 G-Shock GG-B100 and i love it..❤️😍🥰
Epic! Hilarious intro! I have to be honest though I prefer the Mudmaster Loooool. It's actually a far better watch than I assumed, incredible additional features and that location finder would be extremely handy to have. That's definitely the best colour way too!!
The olive green was a must for me... I wanted that brass button :)) So many Mudmaster's in the intro, thought that would make a great entrance... what do you think of my new logo??? cool isn't it, and it was made by this guy who has the GWG-1000 that now wants the GG-B100 after wasting 9yrs watching this video LML :-P
Cheers my good friend :)
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman It's a great looking watch and the video helped to pick up details you don't normally see from the images. Yeah that was brilliant, I think it's the Mudmaster range I prefer design-wise.
The logo looks amazing 👌😻 completes the channel!
Almost 9yrs lol
Cheers dude! 👊
@@Watch-Crazy I get many comments about the new logo, and I'm still in shock you took the time to design it, and then surprise me with it, how could I ignore that and not use it... cheers my friend as always :))
@@WatchUP69MrRangeman That's cool and nice to know! Ah it's nothing..! 👊
@@Watch-Crazy It's everything to me :))))
crazy to think i still wear this one. second battery replacement. wonder whatever happened to him?
