I get why people are want to step out of their comfort zone but sometimes, discomfort tells you that the thing is simply not for you or is directly harming you. It would be great if you can make a video about distinguishing between stretching your comfort zone, and discomfort as a warning sign that something is not right. Otherwise, great and inspiring video!
THIS!! It took me years until I found out that there is a comfort zone, a growth zone but also a PANIC zone, which is, when you are too far outside your comfort zone. Your nervous system is in alert mode and you simply can't grow anymore because of too much discomfort. Then it helps to make a step back into your growth zone where you still can develop and grow but the stretch is not too big

Yes, I feel like sometimes people are like "It is not comfortable but that is a GOOD sign I am growing so I need to keep going!" and I am like.. it can also be a way your body is trying to stop you from burnout. For me it is helpful to think about comfort zone as a "muscle". Good metaphor is learning how to do splits. You stretch everyday and yes, you feel little bit of discomfort and only after it is no longer there you push yourself more. But if people cannot recognise that threshold between "good discomfort" and "bad discomfort", they usually end up with injury that not only erases all progress for months or years but it makes it incredibly harder to achieve their goal than it was first time around. (I hope it makes sense).
I would say when it is the right choice there is DESIRE + discomfort. If there is not desire and there is discomfort then it’s probably not a good choice.

There are so many people I saw hurt themselves really badly because they just kept pushing (they DESIRED to do splits). Quite often the desire is the reason people push themselves beyond their limits.
Law of attraction was invented by people in an already privileged position, really annoying to think that things don't go well for you because you subconsciously don't "desire it enough".
@@CrisOnTheInternet most law of attraction videos don't mention the most important step which is taking action. desiring is the 1st step but it needs to be backed up by physical habits or actions for it to show result

Seriously bro...law of attraction not just means doing nothing and just achieving things,it's attracting things which are harder to achieve in an easiest way with backup physical action.....Not everyone gets everything only with physical action and it's take so much time

I really appreciated the part where you talked about embracing connection instead of isolating yourself. You're right, a lot of the videos I've seen with a similar theme to this one say that you should take time to focus on yourself and limit distractions by staying to yourself, and while I agree that in general you shouldn't be hanging around people who are encouraging you to do things that go against your values/goals, for someone like me who struggles with depression, being around people is VITAL.
