Unlike DAWs, which circumvent this problem by directly utilizing ASIO drivers, these applications suffer because they rely on WDM drivers. While ASIO Link Pro offers a workaround, its inconsistent performance hardly qualifies as a solution. It’s crucial for Universal Audio to address this gap, ensuring their products deliver seamless audio experiences across all software, not just within DAW environments.
crazy they never fixed this issue by now....i have an Apollo Twin X and although it works well when using in DAWs, everything else that involves a microphone is just straight crackling & it's unacceptable considering how much the product costs.
Why are yall devs dodging the WDM problems, ppl have said this many times. it feels like you uad devs dont even give fucks about windows user and only cares for mac aka ur golden boy, what a total waste of money💀💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣
Maybe they have trouble understanding the need to use WDM drivers with their products since that's not the expected market. If their ASIO drivers or CoreAudio didn't work that would be an issue based on the planned market.
U guys . Its the bios! I just got mine working! Go into your bios and look start from 5:46 !! And double look at all the stuff and disable everything u see on those 2 lists that pop up on your computers advance tab in its bios. Check for different names cuz it might be a different name for same thingband just disable all the same stuff on the list and enable all the same stuff they got enabled tooo. On both of the 2 lists that pop up! I can’t believe that really does work.

Guys I turned Turbo Mode off. And it impacted perfomance. With turbo mode export not so simple project (a big documentary film more then 2hr time) - 30 minutes and without turbo mode - 1hour30minutes. Does it worth? I think no. Awful advice because in my case turning off all this things in BIOS (SpeedStep, SpeedShift, C1 and Turbo) didn't help. Crackles became less, but it's still here. Btw Turbo mode doesn't effect anyting except perfomance your processor

@pimpinton1801 Actually, I misled you! The issue was actually because the unit doesn't come with a cable (real slap on the face for the $). I was using a phone cable when you need a cable that can convert at 10Gbps, typically around $40. Hope this helps
After installing, windows 11 does not detect the Apollo Device in the Audio settings. It would be nice to see a solution from Universal Audio instead of assuming it would work. €1000,- device should work instantly don't you agree?

Does this mean I can use Apollo made for macos in Windows PC that has thunderbolt card/port?
All Thunderbolt Apollos are compatible with both Mac & PC with native Thunderbolt ports.

@@UniversalAudio I made an ticket!, Also did not receive the original USB cabel that should be inside the box.. I connected where i ordered
Support aims for 48-72 hr response times, and they do not work weekends so look for a reply within that time frame.
