SCDF unveils powerful new firefighting vessels

- Three new firefighting vessels have been unveiled by the Singapore Civil Defence Force. They can collectively handle anything from chemical, biological and radiation incidents to mass evacuations and fighting big fires at sea.

SCDF is still short of a helicopter ambulance. In a highway road accident or other disaster situation where usual access is not possible. SCDF cannot be hampered in reaching the victim when life and death is only a minute difference. And, the SCDF helicopter can also be used in rooftop, sinking ship etc evacuation operation. In the event of a forest fire, it can fight fire from the sky or used as command post. SCDF should put into consideration this very useful asset.

Helicopter 🚁 need a landing 🛬 place to. In Singapore. hospital area can not landing helicopter 🚁. So awesome 👍😍😍 Singapore PAP ah Gong maybe can building 🏢 up an hospital in sentosa Island 🏝️ so helicopter 🚁 will have space for landing 🛬. Quite intelligent idea right 👍😍😍 hahahaha 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

we need water scooping helicopters that can fly at 150km per hour to the destination and scoop water direct from the sea!
Singapore helicopters use for firefighting are the Chinook CH-47Fs .

first fire fighting vessel to have dynamic positioning system in the world, because it is an unnecessary technology for a fire fighting vessel. you can move the water canons about, so why waste money on a dynamic positioning system?
more people able to focus on fighting the fire instead. the more hands, the better
300 people can fit on it.... Sorry by most vessels on sea take at least 500 people
These are small ships, not large ones, you still need to take into consideration about their equipment
