    I proudly present to you the newest Omramoryth song "The Viscous Fluid of Unearthly Origin".
    This song showcases a more melodic, yet technical side of Omramoryth, with the return of orchestral elements, which I've missed in my music since the first EP. It expands upon the more rigid and straightforward approach presented on the Omramoryth's second EP - "The Arrival" by adding more melody, harmonies, different intervals and chromatic chord progressions. I wanted to write more odd time signature riffs in the style of ‪@BeyondCreationMetal‬ , ‪@RealmOfObscura‬ and similar, but make them my own at the same time. I wanted the technical aspects to shine but I didn't want them to overshadow the songwriting, the catchy aspects of the song and I didn't want it to feel forced. I've tried to reach deep down inside and compose riffs, which to me, feel odd, technical and "progressive", however I wanted them to not seem that way. I've done my best to turn the technicality into something more approachable and listener friendly.
    Of course, the song wouldn't be complete without the help of my dear friends. Karlo and Matko jumped in and composed mind blowing guitar solos. You can find more info about them below:

    I hope you will enjoy listening this track as much as I enjoyed making it! \m/

    He made another absolute banger. This feels like if Unholy Union had a beat drop at the end. Maybe my request was answered

      Thank you so much! 🤝
      It makes me very happy that people are accepting this song so well 🙂 I put a lot of effort into it and I feared people would not gravitate towards this style as much as they did towards Unholy Union.
      However, you recognizing that it's an upgrade really warms my heart. Thank you once again! 🤘

      Thank you so much! I'm glad you noticed it and enjoyed it.
      I dedicated a lot attention to make the odd time not feel like the odd time and to make it groove 🙂 also, I tried to make the technical aspects feel more accessible and catchy.

    Lovely track, pleasant sound and a unique style. This one's going into the playlist for sure!
    Noticed 'Instrumental version' in the title. Will there be a vocals version at a later date? Can't find one on your channel.

      Much appreciated! Thank you so much for your kind words 😌 I'm especially glad that you've found it pleasant to listen to, considering the style of music.
      And yes, I have the lyrics and vocal parts written, I just need to align with my vocalist about the vocal recording session 🙂 hopefully you'll enjoy in that version as well!

    what plugin do you use? also how do you mix it and get it to sound clear? everytime i record it sounds really muddy, could be my daw but idk

    • @omramoryth
      @omramoryth  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man! First of all, thank you! I'm trying my best to achieve a very clear mix as much as possible.
      For recording I use Reaper.
      For drums, I use a mix between Get Good Drums Invasion, bunch of samples for kick + snare and I use additional Tom's + Cymbals from Get Good Drums Metal.
      For guitars I use primarily Neural DSP Gojira.
      For Bass, Neural Parallax.
      For orchestra I use the free library called BBC Orchestra, if I'm not mistaken.
      Synths are Surge, the latest version, which is also free.

      When it comes to plugins for EQ, compression, saturation etc. there's just too many to put into a comment section of a TH-cam video and my mixing/mastering process is too hectic to explain unless I show you my session in Reaper and guide you step by step 😅 which I'm not opposed to, to be honest.

      @@omramoryth what do you think of otto audio? looking at getting II II II II, by far the best sounding plugin i've played

    • @omramoryth
      @omramoryth  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kami7800 Honestly, depends what you're doing. It's a great product, however, after I've bought it, I've had difficulties to fit it into my mixes. From my personal perspective, for my projects, it needs a lot of taming, resonance control in the upper mids and high along with playing around with bias etc. to get the tight, precise and yet heavy tone. I use it for quad tracking and/or complementing my main guitar tone. It's perfect for that!
      On the other hand, I've used a Neural Amp Modeler for the past month and honestly, I'd recommend it. It's a different type of beast but if you are going for the sound that I've dialed in this song, you'll get there much faster and easier with Neural Amp Modeler than Otto.
      However, if you're going for a really dense and heavy guitars, you can't go wrong with Otto. You'll probably need to tweak it more and play around with the settings to get the tone you want.
      All in all, a great product 👌
