COEAC2024: From Data to Deliverables Leveraging Program Performance Data to Inform Policy & Practice

TRIO programs have reported extensive student-level data to the U.S. Department of Education for over four decades. However, this information has the potential for far greater use than simply completing annual performance reports. Beyond measuring TRIO students’ most recent academic and educational progress, this information has the potential to broadly address larger questions surrounding college access and success for low-income, first-generation students. During this session, policy leaders will explore the implications of this data and its potential impact on policy and practice at the institutional, state, and national levels.
