Anyone know how to enable the features that evidently the UK 2023 Sportage has like self parallel parking, rear passenger camera view, etc.?

@@hoanduy3922 As a software developer, I can tell you that often manufacturers develop one common firmware that has all the features in it. At the factory they can enable or disable certain features depending on what people paid for. If you knew how to do it, you could buy the cheap version of something and enable all the options (as long as doesn't require physical devices, like extra cameras). But the specifics of how to do that are obviously kept a company secret.
Edit - now I see you mention this takes a special camera... gah!

I'm happy to help, however, I'm not really sure of the solution to that issue. Hope I could help you. Perhaps replacing the operating system of the infotainment system itself would allow you to use different applications that would provide that feature. But I'm not sure of it so I won't be able to promise any solutions as well.

For the Forte 2023 EX can we get a digital speed display? I'm surprised a 2023 car doesn't have digital speedometer.
I'm not entirely sure it is possible. If there was an aftermarket head unit then there would have been ways of doing so but not in Kia's own system.
Yes you can get digital speed display just have to play with the setting
It does in the lxs on the dash but why in the hell would you wanna show your speed on a giant screen used for music?
On your steering wheel there is an icon for menus which looks like 3 pages of paper on top of each other if you push that button in you will be able to use the toggle beneath it to look at the sub menus and you will see the digital speed

Whats going on my man, is there a way I can get the Blind spot monitoring on a 22 Sorento ex, the dealership told me its only on the prestige models, but on TH-cam I've seen videos with it on other models, please let me know, if we can do this without having to pay for it,thx my man ,I love the magic
It's so I can look at my dash board while using a turn signal and see the car next to me using a cam off my 22 Sorento Ex, its called the blind spot monitoring when you search for it, and it seems like it something you can do
Hi! I'm happy to help! So this model is not yet available in my location, India, at the moment. However, I did some research and found out that this feature is available by default in models S and SX, do correct me if I'm wrong. Which means that they have either hidden this feature in the settings or have removed the specific camera which allows to use the feature. In the former case, you can either check the head unit settings Setup -> Vehicle -> Driver Assistance -> Blind-Spot Safety (2nd last option) -> and enable the check box next to Blind-Spot View. If, however, you do not see this option then you might have to do some digging with your entertainment unit like I did with mine from which you may be able to enter the engineering mode. Though I doubt it will work since that feature might only work once authorized by the company via a firmware update. Hope it helps man, cheers.
I don't think the EX has camera's on the mirrors, thats the only way you can get the blind spot view monitor

@@92SNOX oh I see. The automatic variant comes with 3 driving modes including the sports one. Mine is the manual GT variant hence the confusion and which is why I get no such settings in my console. The only place I can think of is the system sound settings in the head unit or when you select the sports mode then using the steering controls see if there's any such option.

I couldn't find any such settings. You can try and see if they add any such settings in future after firmware upgrades.
I’d recommend using the built in equalizer for your audio streaming app. I use Spotify and simply using the EQ makes the 6 speaker system in my 2023 Sportage actually sound like a premium sound system.

Hi. My car's variant is the GTX+ which is the top one. However, for some unknown reason, Kia decided not to give wireless android auto and wireless apple carplay in this top variant but the same were given to some lower variants of it like the HTX, I believe. You cant you need to upgrade to either the EX or SV model headlights

I'm not sure but I think only you can check those settings since my car doesn't have that feature.

Hi. Since that model is not available in my country I had to google your question. It seems that the the telluride will remain running for 10 minutes after a remote start. You can extend this time as well simply by repeating the remote start process-this will reset the 10-minute timer. For the second question, I think the only way to turn it off once you are inside the car is by using the start/stop button. Hopefully this helps!
My 2020 kia forte GT-line doesn’t have that factory radio with the Navigation/Map 😢 only ApplePlay. Will this still work on the radio I have

I think there's an option in the settings itself to keep rear camera on at all time. I haven't enabled it myself but it is there in the normal settings of the entertainment unit.

I'm wondering if the welcome message is for the EV's, when you first turn the car on there is a message in the infotainment screen that you have to confirm! I'm thinking turning off the welcome message may turn this message off so we don't have to confirm each time we turn the car on!?

The interior light? There's a button that you need to click right next to the lights, usually in the middle.

i have a 2022 kia forte and i can’t get the RCCA signal to come back on. it used to work..dealer told me it must’ve been turned off by accident. im talking about the beeping signal when in reverse and something, car, person, whatever crosses behind you. have watched a few videos now on youtube and some show how to do it, always on a different model than mine, have followed along with their instructions but when they get to the section where they have the option to enable/disable this feature my car doesn’t even show that option! very frustrating. would appreciate your help if you can. thanks in advance
ohh. That's odd. If the setting was turned off accidently, like the dealer said, then it should be there in the menu. If it isn't there then I think this issue is due to a OTA firmware update that automatically removed/hide the relevant setting. In that case, only the dealer could guide your correctly.

Unfortunately, there is no such option for that. You will need to buy a dashcam with parking surveillance feature in order to give you that information going forward.

In main menu, go to settings, languages (bottom row 3rd option I assume) and select english. Hopefully that will work.

@@Whodatsoldier My car doesn't alert me with any such beep sound. Maybe it's car specific. I'm guessing you weren't able to find anything either in the basic settings of the car. I'm pretty sure that can be turned off but you'll have to get it checked by a Kia technician, I guess.

I think that's a separate small device connected to the car to make a noise while backing up. You can get that device removed from a mechanic. It's usually located behind the tail light as much as I've noticed.

What's the solution for maps stuck at 27%
It will complete on it's own as and when you drive your car. Mine was recently stuck at 29% for 2 days and completed on its own on the 3rd day.

@Waleed Arafat you can get youtube but you have to use other apps because for kia doesn't want you watching TH-cam while driving. Just Google it or I can give you the names of the apps. On android it's simple but on iPhone I don't think you can.
