Just want to let you know I'll be going Live from the shop for a Q&A on November 25th 2023 at 7:30pm EST. Put it in your Calendar!
That’s a quality built machine…who needs the canucks! Great video, thanks, gonna sub to your homeboy’s channel, I’m a big firewood guy, love those videos for some reason!
Got a video coming shortly of us using it, quite an impressive machine!
Those Canadians do quality work but man are they expensive! Thanks for subscribing, I'll have a video out Sunday putting this girl to work.
Mind Hitting that subscribe button? It's on sale for the low low price of $0.00!
Similar design to my splitter, although I used an I beam for the upright. It has a Honda powered portapack that was designed to run a hydraulic jack hammer and that powers it no problem.
I built a log lift onto the side of the table, it works via a cable and raises on the down stroke and has a locking latch that stops it yo- yo-ing in use. You can lock the lift in place and use it as a table extension. The only design fault was the table height, I didnt realise it was a problem untill i split through a knotty piece of oak and the shock wave off the table got me right on the end of my wedding tackle !
That is also a problem for me when I use this machine, however Cam is much shorter than me and proves not to be an issue for him...guess that's one benefit of being short.
I've heard nothing but great things about those predator motors from harbor feight we have a go cart league out here in nh and almost everyone uses that motor
There’s a lot of people that use them very reliably. A go kart league sounds like a riot!
Best engine for snowblower swaps
Just subscribed to his channel 😊😊
Thanks! Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for the shout-out homie!
Wait till everyone sees that splitter in action!
I built a 4-way adapter that would slip over my box store single wedge and used the wedge and cylinder to form the piece of steel into shape…..and I crushed the fleshy edge of my hand. Wedge works…yup.
That sounds like a quick trip to the hospital!
nice
What is the height from the ground to the top of the table ?
If I remember correctly it’s like 27”
So how much was it compared to an Axis?
I'm not sure of the price point of an Axis, but I think Cam paid about $8,000 for this unit.
@@EverythingElliott Wow....that's a great price!
Skinless boneless 🤙🏼
I can’t take full credit for that line…
I just saw him drop that line in the woodyard, I knew that was too clever to come from you @@EverythingElliott
@@EverythingElliott You can’t take ANY credit for that line in reference to firewood 😂
@@DudeRanchDIY I’ll take the credit and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Cam how about an electric motor to replace the gas engine. no maintenance and much quitter
No Ear Pro, what a great idea! I'm interested to see how long this Harbor Freight motor lasts, when she goes I will definitely be looking into it. Thanks Jim.
