Saw Her just weeks ago and she still sings that way and more even -- If that's possible. I remember seeing her for the 1st time as a teenager and i was sitting near the speakers. I probably suffered short-term hearing damage but it was all worth it hahah. Hearing her live in person is OLYMPIC- like in the presence of greatness. She's actually a very jolly individual and laughs like there's no tomorrow. A gem of a star, yet is very kind and down to earth.

trivia: regine's voice started to get damaged by acid reflux when she gave birth.. her "let it go" video was taken just recently so I would not think you will like it as well as you liked her older videos.. :( but she can still sing, not as good as she used to though.. dont get me wrong im a fan, she's on the top of my list of awesome singers.

9thoctave regine fans know that regine's voice is not as crystal clear as before.. even regine admitted that her singing is not as effortless as before.. well she can still sing with unbelievable high notes nowadays, but regine on her prime was just magical and flawless in every aspect of singing. she's the queen

Queen Regine grew up idolizing Queen Streisand. They have the same style in singing, and since both of them are actresses, they could really put so much emotions and passion in every song they sing. They both sing like telling a story.

So many great singer everywhere that makes people jump off their feet and go 'wow'. Actually, almost every famous singer gives us that feeling. But then I can only pick a handful of people who can make me drop my jaws and go speechless. Like 'dont talk to me for 5 minutes let me absorb what I just watched. Wth did I just watch?' I want someone who could touch my heart and make me proud not for my nationality but for humanity itself. Regine Velasquez I love her!!!

Carlisle Dayon Yep, Regine auditioned in New York for Miss Saigon. Camerron called her back and told her they wanted to train her in London. She turned it down. I guess it has always been her destiny to be the Queen in the Philippines while Lea Salonga was destined to be popular internationally.
Charles Robert Coloma she turned it down because her asian album was about to be launched...

trivia: regine's voice started to get damaged by acid reflux when she gave birth.. her "let it go" video was taken just recently so I would not think you will like it as well as you liked her older videos.. :( but she can still sing, not as good as she used to though.. dont get me wrong im a fan, she's on the top of my list of awesome singers.
qwerty59191 I beg to differ. Regine's voice has not been damaged. She's had episodes of acid reflux, but that's it. Ovela and M-Angel can probably vouch for that since they already reacted to Regine's performance of 'If You Go Away', which happened just last year.
9thoctave regine fans know that regine's voice is not as crystal clear as before.. even regine admitted that her singing is not as effortless as before.. well she can still sing with unbelievable high notes nowadays, but regine on her prime was just magical and flawless in every aspect of singing. she's the queen
I agree that Regine's voice and range isn't what it used to be. She still sounds great now, and she will always be my favorite singer, but when when she was at her peak (like in this video), no one was better. A talent like her comes once in a lifetime.

Oh my god! Finally someone else who did not like Idina Menzel's version of Let It Go! Not even the movie version. I've said it over and over--- it was not that good! Her voice is kind of too shrieky for a Disney Princess (or queen for that matter).
