They have such a pride in their singing skills.. yeap.. philippine has been known for great singers and good singing skills...I understand that...but I hope they don't behave disrespectful toward other great singers from other countries. I just wanna say maybe one of the reasons why Filipino singers appear to sound a bit one step back is because of the staging and the technical aspects of production. regine has a bad habit of raising her larynx, losing support, and sounding pinched which forces her to push and shout her belts.
sohyang has near perfect technique, places her voice in the mask, has actual vocal freedom and resonance.

this is a christmas song. there is no need to compete. regine sang it with all her heart. she has a christmas album entittled love was born on christmas. she is a woman of substance and a woman of HEARTS.
The audio and video is not that great because it was probably taken by one of the audience. Regine is an impeccable singer. She makes sure that she gives justice to every note. She didn't belt as much as she used to in this song, but I believe because it is but appropriate to sing it with solemnity and gentleness. Love her❤
