I found your TH-cam through Anna and have caught up with her videos to date. Now working watching yours. I try to pace myself watching the videos to make it last longer. But, as always can’t wait to watch your progress. Also, you and Anna are amazing women. I am located in the US, and am very grateful that both of you have made your videos in English.
I am thoroughly amazed at the abilities you use in the rehab of your home. You are so courageous to take on all the different tasks it requires with confidence. Amazing!
@@old_school_moaboa I was watching your older vids last night that told how you’ve learned and what you’ve been through. Your mom and grandmother would be proud of your accomplishments and you certainly have learned well from your teachers and experiences! I admire your drive! God bless in the reminder of the project. You will have an awesome home when you get done😉
Absolutely! Actually, repairs that have been done on the window frames are now in a worse state than the original, says something about how the quality have lessened right?
She is the best, Anna, I have learned a lot from her videos 😄 she does a bit videography professionally as well as she works with communication. She and her colleague did a video for one of my projects at work when she had a production company with a friend. We all went to the same school by the way 😄 but now both me and Anna works for the city of Helsingborg
I love watching your videos and how you are transforming the old school house. I watch Anna on her channel and look forward to all of her improvements and her little chicks! Keep up the good work!😊
I have enjoyed your work for some time now and have recently found Anna. What a kick to see her with you and before that you helped her remove the asbestos panels. You are both formidable to any mess or hard endeavor. 😊. Maggie from North Carolina.
Hallo Moa, congratulations to 10k! Another interesting video... and so beautiful for you that so many friends stopped by. They certainly didn't come over for the food 😉 but because of you. Barter all I have to say... I like Anna's chickens more than yours 😂 greetings from cologne Andy
,Moa,I'm enjoying and learning so much watching your video's too bad I'm not younger I'd buy a fixer upper house just to do what I learned from you to fix it up and...enjoy years later 😂I just can't seem to wait till you have another video come on.Are you sure you wouldn't want to be adopted by me I'd love to have 2 daughters your so dear.
Haha, I think at the age of 38 it's too late to get adopted. Buit I wouldn't mind some extra parents now that mine are gone. I am happy you feel inspired, maybe when I do more decorating and handicraft you can try that instead 😄
Hej Moa, I just returned from a five week solo biketrip through Sweden. It was my first time in your country and it was amazing. Loved the old houses and I love people like you who restore them and pay so much respect to all the craftmanship of the people who made them. Oneday, I’d love to do what you are doing now, in my home country The Netherlands or up north, in Sweden or Norway. Your video’s are an inspiration and they bring me back to my wonderful Swedisch sommar. So: Tack så mycket! I’ve got a question: I mostly camped, but also stayed at some Swedish houses. I struggled with the beautiful windowhooks, to leave a window partially open. They wouldn’t stay put, de window would always fly open again. Can you show us how they work?
The normal hatch we use only allows us to open it completely. But you could also use the small hatch that close the window. I can show once I screw these back on the windows
So amazing what your doing! Just moved to Sweden skäne! I dont know where you located if you ever need a hand would love to help! Such a beautiful place your making!
When the screw holes are too loose, mix some wood shavings or sawdust with wood glue to make a paste and put it into the hole. Screw into that. When it dries, you will NEVER get that screw out again.
Hello Amos, I am new to your channel. I found you through Anna. I love watching home improvement like this. I am 68 with some health issues but I used to tackle many home improvements in my day. I had bigger ideas than what I had money to do so I jumped in and tried to figure out the solution later. You both are doing things I never tried…good work!
@@old_school_moaboa hmmmm… great question! I would have pressed forward and followed my heart more (there were some critics) and just jumped in with 2 feet. So what if I failed. “Nothing ventured, nothing gained”. I love finding new ways to do things, maybe “ outside the box” and not the intended purpose for something but just being creative ( remember these were the days before TH-cam). I started painting without training and I love it! I would love to take lessons though especially on drawing. Anyway keep pressing on, y’all are so impressive! Love and blessing from South Carolina, USA!

Haha actually we almost finished that big dish between the four of us, it tasted really lovely but it looked very basic 😉 thank you 🙏
It is always very interesting to watch what you are working on!
Your work on the windows is top notch. They should last a good long time. Well done!

@@old_school_moaboa haha I didn’t catch that my spell check changed your name to Amos for Pete’s sake (sorry about that… how embarrassing 😳)
Chickens were mentioned but not shown. Where are the floofy girls? (Nice work on the lime plaster and windows!)
I just found your channel. Amazing work you are doing. Is the lime render only lime and water or is there also sand mixed in it?
There is sand mixed in there
what is that square burnishing tool you are using called?
You don't have bugs where you are that come into your house when the window are out ?
Of course, but not so much, it's not a problem :-)
Lime plastering seems awful and slow work.
Yes, natural and traditional materials were not easy 😆 that's why so many were replaced by modern and more user friendly products
@@old_school_moaboa gosh I’m not sure if I would have used modern technology but with that said I’m proud of you
@@joycepayne3505 the house deserves it, with materials that are natural the walls can breathe which is the best gift you can give your house 😉
