- On 9th May 2013 the Royal Aeronautical Society played host to a unique lecture by a 'real life Q' and aviator - Wing Commander Ken Wallis MBE.
Probably best known for designing and flying his autogyros (including doubling for Sean Connery as 007 in 'You Only Live Twice' , Wg Cdr Wallis' life has spanned speedboats, fast cars as well as flying Lysanders and Wellingtons in WW2.
A true aviation legend and inventor.

Grate man whent to his house to see him fly when he was 92 shed full of Autogyro`s and 2 aircraft engines in the corner just because he liked the design.
