It's M-scale, not 1/10 scale. So, a shrunken down version of the XV-02. Most of the concept is the same, but things like suspension arms, shock towers, wheels and tires, etc, are smaller. Shares the drivetrain, diffs and steering. Getting this question alot so maybe a side by side comparison of both cars is in order.
@@Competitionx Thanks. One more thing - it appears that uprights might be compatible with M-07/8 chassis - would you be able to confirm this? It'd be cool to have a rally option of those two.
Well, it's not officially 'replacing' it, but most of the Rally guys use the MF-01X for that. So, it is kind of a replacement, if that makes sense. The MF-01X will still be sold as a 4WD M-chassis kit. And yes, most M-chassis bodies will fit on it.
I'm with you on that I have a few box wrenches myself about 50. great video!!!!!!
Thanks. Ya, that was only the 3 I had on the bench - there's a box off to the side that has another 75,000 in it LOL
That does look like a really nice chassis, and I love the M-chassis' anyway, awesome stuff!!
Agreed. The recent M-Chassis cars are all great - M07 and M08 - but been looking for a good 4WD option. Well, here ya go!
@@CompetitionxI used to race an M07, it was brilliant, one of the most fun cars I've ever driven.
Loved the M07 as well. Great car.
This is going to be such an amazing replacement for our MF-01X M-Chassis Rally car!!!!
I think the MF-01X chassi is nice for rally. Especially because it's not getting gravel and dirt in the chassi like you do with a bathtub chassi.
thats cool Tony, was this chassis under the lancia body in the video i saw you in?
No, that was the XV-02. Not sure what body set I'm going to be running on this just yet.
Sweet!
Thanks!
Will a (M05 chassis) mini monte carlo body fit this chassis?
210mm version should fit but will it be wide enough?
All the current M-Chassis bodies should fit the XM-01 by simply modifying the chassis length for each.
So what is the difference from the xv-02 pro?

@@Competitionx Thank you.
Awesome video, I don't suppose you know what the shock spring part number is!
(Checking manual) It appears to be 54465.
@@Competitionx thank you, are you planning on building it straight away?
Building it Sunday. :)
When part 2 coming 🤣@@Competitionx
Already up...
Interesting kit. Just hope it's not priced like its bigger brother 🤔
Shouldn't be - seeing the street price around $230 at the moment.
hello, can i know what it is use on front suspension arm ball stud ?
Not sure what you mean. Can you be a bit more specific please?
I winder if it's able to fit standard size rally wheels. Look like there's not a lot of space.
It should. We're going to give it a try this weekend with standard size wheels.
@@Competitionx thanks! Looking forward to see it
Yup, stay tuned...

I did not know it was replacing the xfo1x. So will be able to mini bodies on it?

@@Competitionx they need to make one like the bt01 or the mb01 that is four-wheel drive where you can change the length in a position of the motors.
@@bradkalman2353 this one can change wheelbase. And with some fantasy, the motor position could be swapped as well.
@@Papinak2 I know that it can change wheel base but not the width.
@@bradkalman2353 it can, it has same suspension mounts as XV-02
Are you going to race it in the rallys you do?
Yessir! First one will be on the 14th of April. Will post some video of it from that event.
i can "overdrive" any car, no matter the gear ratios...😂
LOL, Now that's funny.
