They need to make an HD remaster of Original Generations and OG Gaiden that includes a PC Port on Steam, OG 2nd and Moon Dwellers are fairly recent so they only need a PC Port.
I can see them "rebooting" it. As in a sequel while also being it's own thing, so you can have the old OGs while also focusing on the "newer" OGs from the Z series, 3DS games, VXT trilogy, 30, and so on.
I don't think they can finish OG in a single Game, unless they break in Part 1 and Part 2 with 52+ stages each kinda how they did in OG for PS2 where they folded OG 1 and 2 in a single Game.
@@BassGSothertype Well, they put the plot of Alpha 3 in... and then they put the plot of W in... and then they put the plot of SC2 in... and then they butcher all of them to death, like OG is wont to do, and then they serve it.
I found the main reason for SRW T not release on PC was because Cowboy Bebop got LC by Netflix for making the live action series based on the anime of the same name, which release on 2021.
I doubt it since if everything had went according to plan, the Steam version of T would have been released months before the Netflix series was even released.
Even if the next OG game is to be the last one, I hope it'll eventually come back not as OG but as NG (New Generation also a little play on the whole New Game whenever we start our second playthrough)
With some deaths on the VA side ending OG while they have a cast would be a plus. We can’t keep mining the well after all. If they give the OG finale the same gravitas as 30 then we will be in good hands.
it has been over 20 years and they haven't finished the first one yet, i don't think they can handle a second one from scratch. they could remake/port the older games and maybe release a spinoff, but that's it. unless the final OG game sells absurdly well, i won't have much hope for it tbh.
OG needs a refresh so here's hoping the next is the last. Would like another SRW game but between if it should be console or mobile release. If console, we get a game with very little shelf life. If mobile, they will keep putting out more units and stories like DD. 30th was a great game but the lineup was a little weak. The extra DLC didn't do much for it as well.
This developers are so busy that it does not come to their mind the idea of remastering the Alpha series or at least the very same old game but at least translated to english.
The new-gen SRW series for new-gen console and Steam are near future for non-gen Y fans, late-gen Z fans and early-gen alpha fans to play these. Except the next-gen looked logo for SRW series from old looked logo.
agree, T and 30 kinda let down. especially the OG character and Mecha. i barely feel exciteed to look at the animation like how they did in V and X. V OG mecha is just.... *cheff kiss*
Lord only knows when the next OG will be done, but I doubt the next main game is in early development - it's been almost two years already since the last one and I doubt they started development later than a month after that game released, at the absolute latest.
damn, it's so damn sad, OG had a lot of promise when it released, games, animes, spinoffs, mangas, card games, figures and then.... nothing. it's been a long wait, let's hope it ends sooner rather than later.
@@Badbufon My conceren is that they're too quiet about OG that I feel like the publisher gonna axe it. Esp when you think about their sales are too low compare to main game.
Are there any news regarding remake or possible addition of whole OG series into PC? Althought it sounds rather impossible/asked a little too much for a game this niche to be installed into PC giving how stingy BAMCO is I suppose .... if only miracle exists.
I sure hope it is not the next game as there are so many OGs that would either feel crammed in if they tried or just be sadly missed. It might be greedy but I'd really love it if it had an Alpha3 lvl sendoff. Maybe not with a character select but a conjoined story. With the scale of combat, setting up of team formations and sequential climax battles. Outside of that, it would be amazing if they could remake/re-release the rest of the OG series on PC globally, just so we could properly have the whole journey in one place. Extremely greedy thoughts for sure but how else would one want to have it for a series they followed for well over a decade? even if they were to take another to get there.
RIP the Steam version of T 😢, now I'll have to upgrade my PC several times fold if I want to emulate it. Even though they focused their efforts on DD and 30 it's not surprising the later ended with so many bugs considering it came out only 2.5 years after the expansion Pack for T, there was simply no time to develop it since they had to make the deadline for the 30th anniversary.
I just hope they will remake the OG series. I really like those since they won't have to worry about adding other series form other companies.
The OGs game from PS2 is a remake of the 2 OG GBA games
I want to see another OG game with Keiji Tachibana and the Ardyguns.

@@marianofedericoberaldi8791 the remaster is going to be hard, since the voice had to be recasted, and you already know what happened...
Man I want next OG so bad. I know the pandemic slowed everything down cause they were hoping to have it out for the anniversary.
I wish I could have play SRW T on PC one day after I finish playing V, X and 30, especially playing Gunbuster.

I've always figured that there's a good chance they'll split it into chapters like with the later Z games
Yeah they can. It would be easy.
@@TheShinyFeraligatr
Based on all the ground work laid out for the story how would they pull it off?

Not a good idea to split to 2 part.
They can do the flow chart like W.
And if 1st oart and a low sale, Bandai gonna axed this series.

SRWOG being among my favourite franchises ever I hope we get a banger of a final part(s) as a grand send-off.
It would be nice if in the future they decide to release T on PC after all. As well as release a complete edition of the VXT saga with all their dlc

man the pandemic really screwed the super robot wars series badly just when the series was starting to gain foothold out of Japan for many years.

Honestly, they could start a new OG series, either a new continuity or hopefully a major Time skip as to be an easier entry point.

They should make a remaster of the OG games from the PS2 so the PC gamers get to know more about the characters.

My guess for OG3 will be 2026. 10 years from OGMD and 35 years anniversary. perfect to end the series as well.
