Master's Scroll - Allows you to attack four times per equipped weapon. Pair this with Genji Glove, and you can attack eight times.
Soul of Thamasa - Allows you to cast two spells on the same turn.
Brigand's Glove - Turns Steal command into Mug.

I love Team Ninja's attention to detail. Not only did they give him a reference to Phoenix, they gave a nod to FFVI's Esper summon animation (the pink orbs) when he does it. They are really good at hitting home with the nostalgia; it's a shame that this game hasn't caught on too well here in the West.

Thats true (look at DOA5) although lately it seems Square Enix dont either. For NT I believe it was handled by Square Enix storywise. Dissidia has always been trash storywise unfortunately like most fighters but hopefully one day that will change although I appreciate the difficulty in making a story with established characters from different universes chuckled together to beat the crap outta each other for.... reasons?

And like it or not guys, she *is* the canon love interest of Locke. Someone can fall in love for a second time, it happens all of the time. Whether or not they end up together after the game is anyone's guess, but they do have develop a thing for each other during the course of the game. I just stop short of saying it's endgame bc the tech of the time didn't allow them to expand on something like that when there's so much they wanted to tell, and well, there's a lot of development that apparently took place off screen //eyerolls.

Well this raises a couple of questions. Will those moogles appear in his cutscenes, and intro, or was it just for the trailer? Will Kefka be in his cutscenes and manage to be in three places at once instead of the current two? Will we finally get the Kain/Ramza/Ace chapters that have no reason not be already be in the game? Tune in next NEVER to find out!
For the moogles it was just for the trailer, reference to FFVI when Locke come to save Terra, who is fainted (like in the trailer), with a small army of moogle. For the rest, wait and see.

The Phoenix Ray psuedo-combo looks pretty cool, it might work similarly to how Firion can pseudo-combo Weaponsmaster from a long-range Wall Rush

Well Locke maybe tricky for me as I've always attacked the people I target. So it'll be tough to mug someone I'm not targeting.
If you attack the people you target that's fine, mugging will be easy. The important thing for the sneak attack and mug to work is that whoever you're attacking is not targeting 'you'.
I'm late, when did Locke get in Dissidia? Seriously, this is the 1st I've heard of this.

You're forgetting something important about locke's dash.
It's the only dash attack in the game with guarantee wallrush combo.
Pretty sure a lot of character's dash attacks can wallrush combo easily.

@@ambercarbuncle1440p not in this game , in FF6 , using Heartless Angel when Locke has Valiant Knife, it boost his damage.
So Valiant Knife does stronger damage the lower Locke's HP is, and is affected by HP boosting armor and accessory.

Stop compairing them. They're different in their own way. I like Celes more (it's obvious) because she's not afraid to do things like sing at the opera (she didn't do that for Locke but actually to help save Terra ) so go play the game again and you'll realize what a great character she is. Having said that, Terra is also a great character.

I caught a lot of heat for it, but still not excited for this character. I get the love "true" fans have for the older games, but you would figure a dying game would incorporate a character that's widely known anong the FF community and not a character from the first half of the games that most newer players wouldn't care to see. But hey, I'm in it for the Long haul because I blindly purchased the season pass. Just hoping if the soft reset is real, we get Zack Fair next which would save this dlc for me. Again, this is my opinion and I realize it's not popular, but Square has handled this game with the grace of a elephant servicing tea.
Fortunately, Japanese people love to crap out of Locke.
Trueblade Seeker I get it they love him and game is thriving in Japan...on arcades. Again, I just want a familiar face that may bring new players in the American version. Playing the same 6 to 8 people even in Mythril rank on weekdays and weekends is pretty bad.
Dissidia is a Japanese game first and foremost, so the priority will always be with the japanese fanbase. Plus its kinda hard to add in a new character that western fans will like since most of them (take note I say most and not all) only really care about FF7 or FF8 and both games already have 3rd reps from Dissidia 012
Well most of the characters from this season pass is from the later half anyways. They're already catering it to most of the people who played the games in the states. Even so, that doesn't mean we should ignore the fans of the older games. I haven't played VI myself yet, but hearing about Locke being a speculation and seeing his trailer got me pretty pumped. Sides not a guarantee that even if we bring in more characters from just the newer half more people will want to play NT cuz most of them don't like the 3v3 aspect.
The first half the dlc was supposed to be the first half of the series as a whole, so I assumed everything 7 and under. How Vayne was chosen as the first dlc since he represents 12 is beyond me. Hopefully moving forward there will be familiar fan favorites.
Now we need another 9 and 8 character. Maybe even another Tactics... Gafgarion?
