      1. Serra do Sico, north of Ansião, check out the 'miradouro'.
      2. Village of Rabaçal, where the cheese comes from (can be combined with 1 above).
      3. Bridge crossing the Zezere River east of Ferreira do Zezere, on the CM1067. Spectacular views.
      4. Pedrógão Grande, lovely little village, quaint streets, nice park, good cafes and restaurants.
      5. Abiul, part of Pombal council, charming little village, with café and restaurant, and the oldest working bullfighting ring in Portugal.

Surreal to see so many together like that... plus a few that still had sails, albeit folded up...

N2 means National Road 2. This area of Lorvão is very close to where the battle of Bussaco took place, commanded by General Arthur Wellesley (future Duke of Wellington) against French Napoleonic troops commanded by General Massena, which ended in French defeat in 27th Set1810.

The first time I went to Lorvão some twenty years ago I was amazed at the number of weird people on the streets. Then I found out that part of the monastery was used as a madhouse (it's not anymore) and that the patients were allowed to roam the village. Which I think is (was) nice. Maybe the bars on the windows were to prevent "accidents"?

'Livraria' doesn't mean 'library', but bookshop. The portuguese translation for 'library' is biblioteca. False friends in linguistics can be tricky.

It is quite sad to see small business closed in small villages. A symptom of the Portugal interior being abandoned and deserted.

In reality, Coimbra is apparently the 13th most populated city in Portugal, Porto being the 3rd.

Great tour.. nice village 👍 The N2 is like our Route 66
You should show house tours at cheap prices. Avoiding the Gringo Tax 😮😊
Side note to boost subs a simple rule of 3. A quick mention with a visual to sub and like. At the 25% mark, 45% , and 75% marks on each video. 🎯💪🎥

I do like your channel but I prefer it when you talk “to” us, not “at” us. Sometimes you almost shout and it’s almost like you are reading an angry script. Not relaxing to listen to. I love it when it’s natural conversation tones from you and you are an interesting guy with some great content. Just my opinion. Keep up the great content and all the best to you.

Have you seen a Thai movie 🎬 Once upon a Star? Would a stationary version of what they did. Work for your family?
Any film over 75 years is free from copyright. Potential to offer families and all a movie in the park version. No dubbing required.
Would a 5 or 10 Euro entry work bring your own blanket 🤔 😉 sell refreshments snacks for added revenue

Coimbra official steel the capital of Portugal. On 1255 king Afonso II move to Lisbon and the government and parliament follow but never have been officially moved up today. Lisbon is the capital, the fact, not official.
