I loved the update, the garden is going to be incredible, I love the trees and the large stones add charm to the future garden. What a wonderful place to live.
Oh those horses 🥰 and the ceramics! 😍 It’s great seeing the house settling into its space. I remember thinking that under construction it appeared to tower over the surrounding houses. And further back, I wondered how on earth you were going to build on such a rocky plot. I rather like the rockiness, and it’s made me think about what I’m looking for. First reccy to Portugal in February 🤞🏻
you're getting hot to the heart of portugal and golegã is a great start, famous for it's annual horse festival. not the only town with equestrian traditions, though. all Lezíria do Tejo (Tagus Marshland) towns have it, in both sides of the river, with nuances in dress costumes, folclore, etc. the ones in vila franca de xira, samora, azambuja, benavente and santarém are more eclectic
It’s all vey fascinating! I suspect most of the equestrian folk all converge on Golegã in November? That would account for all the eclectic styles!

go check the one's i mentioned before; in golegã is focused on equestrian, the way people relate with the horse with the particular dress code "Marialva", therefore representing the owners of big parcels of land; beautiful indeed and, of course, wine pours away! vfxira has the componente bulls-horses with "colete encarnado" festival in july, santarém has the agricultural componente which encompasses everything, with "ribatejo" fair in june.

Thank you so much! It’s a bit scary the amount we need to do, but we look back at what it was before we started for inspiration 😂😂😂
