I think i can hear the turbo in the game but the sound is weak ... also the camera in that video was placed at the engine while this one is showing the POV of the driver. Remember that in real life it depends where the camera and the mics are placed when compared to how we actually hear the sounds at the driver seat. This is coming from someone who actually tried recording sounds in real life 😉 Not to mention also that in each place the mics are placed will always sound different compared to how the driver hears in his position. The mics may also pick up the sound different compared to each other and it also depends on how you process the sound depending on where it is recorded around the car, so if you managed to nail every area of recordings around the car then you'll manage to make the most realistic possible sound production 👍 The mics may also pick up the shaking frequency of the engine when placed on any surface around the car compared to the ears of the driver which is almost at the epic center of the cockpit.

most probably first person view has sound processing mimicking helmet+fire protection so some things are going to sound a bit muffled and filtered

Doesn't sound that great. Its meant to roar, too muffled like most GT7 car sounds.
Gt7 still have some great road car sounds, might not be perfect but the best we had in a gran turismo game by country mile,
It's muffled because he is inside it's difrent to how you hear from outside where its loud
This car sounds like a muffled na v8, the exterior sounds are very inaccurate as usual.
I wouldn't say *VERY INACCURATE* but it can be improved.

You're right actually ... in real life it sounds like Nascar from the outside, here it sounds like a british supercar series V8.
