I just recently finished reading the book The Power Of Now, and what I felt reading that book, which is hard to put into words, I can feel watching your videos. Thank you for recognizing such important things, and thank you for being kind to yourself, as it reminds me to be as well.
When I heard “you are so powerful, before you lose 10 pounds,” I sort of broke down. I’ve got this idea in my head that I won’t have any friends and I won’t be dateable until I lose weight. I’m not even overweight now, but I have rolls and I don’t have a flat stomach and I’ve always been insecure. Over the last year and a half, I have lost all of my friends and I have been so convinced that it was my fault, and I think that I was meant to stumble upon this video. It really helped me and I think I’m gonna start using this meditation on a daily basis. I don’t know how, but I’m going to fix myself. I am going to start to love myself.

I live in Santa Cruz and last night I went to a free form dance space where they were sharing tea and books. There were people hula hooping and doing yoga, it made me feel so full and grateful! It was so great and I just thought to myself like wow I wish Hitomi was here, I bet she'd love this! :)
I loveee this😍. I’ve noticed I have trouble with focusing during meditations/yoga practices with anxiety, thoughts racing and trouble with vulnerability in my practices in letting myself feel fully.. I found wearing a blindfold embracing vulnerability even through the anxiety, just sitting with myself through these emotions and what they mean. It really helps me to drop into my body fully and like Hitomi said.. it’s really nothing to do with the outside but how we feel, we’re more than worth it even before we “look good” or before we succeed or whatever it is.. I just thought it was so beautiful 🤍 I’m blessed to have crossed paths with you🥰

Beautiful video Hitomi! I do meditation a lot too, I went to an ashram retreat once and they gave me the tip to always have your knees on the ground, you can sit on the edge of your pillow and rest your knees on the ground. This way your lower body becomes a strong tree trunk base and you are able to adopt the best possible posture. It makes you manage longer meditation sessions and really forget about any physical discomfort. Everyone’s different but hopefully this is something you can find helpful! Thanks x

I wanna be in Thailand right now. Also, I’ve never thought to do a morning meditation routine but you have just got me started. Going to start doing this. This was such a peaceful and stress-relieving video to watch. Absolutely love.
I have a problem... i am usually very anxious person. For example i cant concentrate on studying cause i feel my mind is going so fast processing so much and i just cant stay focused. But when i do relax, and try to do something, like instantly, my mind turns on and gets crazyy... i get such ideas and thoughts that once again i can do nothing but stress over everything. Like everytime I get myself togehter, i fall into this trap. And its like non ending circle... anxiety just overflows my whole body and i just freeze unable to function.
just wanted to let you know you're not alone! I feel this way at times! Honestly what works for me is distracting myself or doing the opposite by just focusing on my breathing. I distract myself by hanging out with my friend or doing a mind engaging activity like work out or sing idk just something to distract you, sometimes tv works but in my case not really because Im too focused on my thoughts to distract myself with tv, but if its not that severe try focusing on breathing just focus on breathing in and out and clear your mind
I would suggest you try pranayama exercises. When your mind is super busy, simple meditation can make it even worse if you aren't used to it. Alternate nostril breathing works really good for me. I also found that I feel better when I don't fight that state of my mind. Surrendering, watching, and accepting the natural flows, calms down the monkey mind. Deep peace to you :)
