When using the makeup sponge with your stencils, dabbing instead of rubbing is the key. And you’re right, less paint is more in this instance. So good job!

Hey Barbara, you did an amazing job, loved watching every second of it!😊 The rand and jelly tots are both from South-Africa and the mesh is actually tule😅. The weird thingy is a (new and clean) hairnet. You get them in different colors. I used a colored one😅. You can try to color it with your finger dabber and ink (dry). Hope that helps a bit. But you did an amazing job. I have to tell you I had a struggle with my 5 items too😂. But had a blast doing so. Thank you for doing this collab with me❤

Da hast du aber ordentlich gekämpft! Bei so Plastikschildern und dem Flies hätte man evtl. auch Alkoholinks nutzen können. 😊 Ich finde deinen Blume sehr kreativ und super gut gelungen! Ich gebe dir recht, dass der Hintergrund zunächst zu vordergründig war. Dein Tag ist trotz der Hürden hübsch geworden! 💚 Fühlte sich beim Zuschauen leicht bekannt an 😅… solche Challenges haben es in sich.

What an awesome teaching moment this has been for us. No kidding. Now we not only know what not to do but we also know how to fix it. I suspect that that one shaped thing with the hole in it was probably almost all plastic. They hang them on plants store I think. You did an amazing job you are so creative and you think on your feet so well. It would never have dawned on me to do what you did and yet it is beautiful and that last little touch was what has made it perfect. Thank you so much I'm back in love with your channel again

Dab small amount of paint on stencil, dont swipe… then it won’t go under ❤️❤️
Could you use alcohol ink to color the weird-white-fluffy-stretchy-plastic stuff? I don’t know much about alcohol ink (and nothing about the fluffy stuff) but it’s supposed to dry quickly and seems to stick well.
That might have worked a lot better! 😃👍🏻

This was almost impossible but you certainly were tenacious. The little beads you made from the DVD are cute. The tiny book is gorgeous.
OMG! I don’t really like ruinous videos, but this was often fun because, Barbara, you kept your sense of humor throughout. I don’t like whoopsies very much either, but I did learn a lot of interesting techniques. The flower petals are genius, like gems. I liked the use of fingernail polish on the Rand. Would it have worked on the plastic fluff, I wonder? I❤the dvd sequins. More genius. In brutal honesty, the struggle with the background was pretty excruciating. 😵💫 Still, I didn’t quit on you, Barbara; I watched the whole thing. We all get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for stick-to-itiveness. I love your videos. ❤
That is a showering cap. We get it in hotels in a showering kit. It protects hair from getting wet while showering 😄

Wow, amazing! You did a great job and looks beautiful. I use the disposable cap on my clients when I do facials so that there hair is not in the way, but I never thought of it to add in my crafting.

I love watching you problem solve. You never give up. So everything you tried that didn’t work, taught us all something. I think the thing I loved the most was the flower peddles made from the CD. After you baked them, they just looked beautiful. I had no idea that the CD would come apart, almost like a napkin with its different layers. I have to go watch Peggy’s video now. This was so fun!! I learned tons. ♥️♥️♥️

I thought it was funny that you said you were too lazy to cut a tag shape by hand. For me it’s easier to cut it by hand than to use my die cutting machine. Lol! It’s fun to watch you work thru using all those unusual supplies.

Genius!!! I had no idea a disc could be taken apart - and then melted ... wow! The great part about this was you did things that either didn't work or you didn't like ... then we got to see your process to fix it ... and it turned out amazing! Way to go!!!

Oooh I loved this, I was sewing in signatures while watching. I’m new to junk journaling and haven’t had a chance to journal in one yet. I sell my art at a farmers market every Monday and my mini junk journal s sold out so I had to mass make more! Whew! Working on a personal one now and gonna attempt to make one with a paper bag, like your videos. Also I love real time on TH-cam, it’s how I create on my channel. I hate editing so much so people just get me as I am! Love your work and channel much!❤😊

You are amazing Barbara! What you did with that CD was amazing. The background turned out wonderful! I love the texture you ended up with. The sparkly squares finish it off nicely and the additon of the boarder is perfect.
🥇1st prize for persistence Barbara! So much packaging has that plastic coating on it and I do not enjoy it at all, the chocolate packaging is better because it has a clay coating to make it take the printing ink well. You sure worked hard for that awesome stem but it was worth it! The petals you made with the mesh and the DVD blew me away, love them and, that coin turned out incredibly beautiful! Your tag turned out to be something quite elegant and you earned it, keeping the struggle real helps others conquer and succeed, well done!💕🇨🇦
