    Hey 👋🏽CUrlfriends! Just FYI, you can sub the fenugreek seeds for fenugreek powder if your prefer. This recipe is catered to those who don't have access to the powder. Regardless, you still have to strain the mixture. I find the powder can also leave little bits on your hair if not strained. Also, even if you were to remove the skin from the Aloe, you still have to strain it. The gel will get stuck in your curls as well. Hope this helps 🙏🏽 YOU GROW GIRL! Ps. FAQ: no my hair is not relaxed. I'm 100% natural.

      Some hair masks change texture and sometimes current texture can be very misleading. For all my life I thought my hair was a certain texture and that was with getting perms, using drying shampoos, using a blow dryer and basically not nurturing my hair. Then I stopped perms, maybe ten years ago now. Then stopped using the blow dryer, stopped using shampoos and no products. My hair is completely different texture than it was years ago. Hair texture has a lot to do with what you are doing with your hair and the conditions you are putting it in and what you are putting in it. I think it is completely environmental (external conditions), nutritional.

      @@ASmith-jn7kf Yeah sure if i gel down my 4c hair it looks like 1A..what's your point? My point is we don't need to manipulate our hair to look like a different texture, before it is admirable, but do you sis. :)

    Thank you lady.
    Glad to hear that you knew about the latex in the Aloe Vera and what effects it can have on the hair/skin. Tried explaining this to someone on my arrival to London and they must have felt offended by my refusal to using it. I'm willing to say the offence TAKEN is very real.
    Also intrigued as to how many BP have approached you or negatively spoken to you about that "not being your hair". My hair looks and flows the same when silk pressed, not the same length - I am not quite there as yet, but still aiming.
    Lovely to hear sense on your channel, it has been a rough decade of nonsensical speak from distractors, self-haters and narcs, so blessings for your positive content. After all, they want the hair long and silky but never willing to learn how we go about getting those results.
    Peace and Blessings

    Can fenugreek be used every week or does it have strengthening properties that aren’t advised to use that often

    • @ProudMane
      @ProudMane  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm pretty sure it's safe to use weekly. It's also a protein so if you're sensitive to that then maybe use less often. But as far as I know it's safe to use weekly on its own AND in conjunction with other ayurvedic herbs.

      If you are Prot.sensitive: You can also "balance" it with moisture💧 ingredients to make it safe. Like aloe Vera, honey, a good moistrsing Deep condish as well. (& Don't let it sit overnight.) It works for me😉

      @@ProudMane fenugreek contains alot of plant based estrogen (phytoestrogen) which means it mimics estrogen. I have fibroids so I have to avoid things that are high in estrogen (soy, flaxseed, fenugreek, animal and dairy products that not grass fed, pasture raised and/or organic, plastics which can contain xenoestrogen). Black seed and nettle are kinds high too, so I avoid those as well. Anyone with any type of estrogen based condition should not use fenugreek. I use Aryuvedic DIY for my hair but I have to research alot to figure out what I can use. I didn't at first which is why I have organic fenugreek that I can't use.

    So I did my hair this morning and I used the powder. I didn't know it needed to be strained because I used powder. Well BEADS were in my hair but the fortunate thing is my hair is very short and thin so it wasn't difficult to get it out.
    Now, did you use conditioner after you washed it out? Did you wash it out with shampoo or plain water?
