Very informative video, even for those of us who are regular visitors to Lagos. Thank you Glenda 🥂

As someone who once lived in Lagos Nigeria, I can see why you enjoy visiting the Portuguese alternative.

Funny but it was Portuguese navigators who gave the name Lagos to Lagos Nigeria

Well done, Glenda! 🙂 Nice overview. Looking to visit in the next few months and probably retire there from Newport Beach, CA...

For us Lagos is about 15 km away by car. We hadn’t found the underground parking yet, so thanks for the tip !

    Great tour, thanks!
Thinking of visiting; possibly moving to Portugal. It looks quite tropical where you are in the southern coast (like Florida-yuck!). Hope it’s not that hot!
    Maybe inland is more temperate.
Did you learn to speak Portuguese fluently?

Everything International Living says about Portugal is that the food is very inexpensive. Looking at the prices on the menus (2:55, 4:48 & 5:09) it's expensive.

I thought the same thing! I lived in Sicily for a few years and felt a little confused. Lol

Ms. Cole, your video tour of Lagos was great, clear and interesting, However, the sound quality was POOR, very poor. Have our ever noticed the real estate pro's videos of properties for rent or sale? They are wearing lapel mike's that have Bluetooth capabilities with the camera or cellphone videoing their presentation, thus the viewer's are hearing, clearly what they are saying. On your video your verbal speech sounds as if you're talking thru a mask, or across the street, around the corner. People can't understand you. You need to invest in a Bluetooth mike to clip onto your collar in the future so your words of explanation are as clear as is your video's.

Viewers; viewer’s is the possessive form. Videos; video’s is the possessive form.
What you mean in these two instances is the plural form without the apostrophe. Possibly also the use of pro’s (should be pros, but I’ll give you this one as pros doesn’t really make sense; PROs would work here and the apostrophe, in this case implies the letters of the word ‘professional’ that are left out in the abbreviation.

Lagos is not far from us. I moved to Pêra with my family in 2021 from Scotland and we started a TH-cam channel last month all about food in the Algarve. If anyone is interested we really need the subscribers ;-)

Nice video but Lagos and Algarve are not Mediterranean as they belong to the Atlantic Ocean so...I don't no perhaps correct it would be fair for Geography lovers all over the world?

Tried to watch this but the audio is terrible. Pity as it might have been interesting. Please try and sort out your audio in either pre or post production. Cheers.
