Looks like you enjoyed your time here in the Algarve. We moved here in 2021 from Scotland and love it !! I started a TH-cam channel last month all about food in the Algarve
Can you please tell me the name of the boat company that you used for the Benegil Cave tour? I know that you booked it through your hotel as you mentioned.
Great itinerary! The Algarve looks like an amazing destination. I’m particularly excited about visiting the stunning beaches and exploring the charming towns. Did you have a favorite spot or activity during your trip? Any hidden gems or local tips for making the most out of three days?
Our favourite spot was the Seven Valley's Hiking Trail and hanging out in Carvoiero. We didn't really get to a lot of hidden gems in 3 days, but we look forward to going back to explore more. It truly is beautiful there.
What time of year is best? My anniversary is in early December. Is it warm around the 1st -8th? We visited Lisbon last year, and it was great. My ultimate destination is Maderia, but I need to break up the trips due to cost. I want to see it all. Thanks
Shoulder season is best in September/October or April/may for better weather and fewer crowds. Albeit, when we visited in October and May, it was still busy. December brings cooler weather average daily temperatures range 8°C (46°F) to 17°C (63°F). However you will definitely see fewer crowds.
It's just a few hours from Lisbon. We stayed at the Tivoli Carvoiero and loved there. We booked our boat tour from the hotel and it is walking distance to the town of Carvoiero and the Seven Hanging Valleys Trail. We also have this article on our website breaking down where to stay in the Algarve theplanetd.com/where-to-stay-in-algarve/
Definitely, Algarve is amazing!
We want to go back to see more! Three days is just enough for a taste, but there is so much to see and do!
@@ThePlanetD Sure! A complete experience should include some time to explore and some time to relax at this beautiful part of Portugal.

Looks like a great region to visit. The car rental of 240 Euros for 10 day is outstanding compared to what we pay in the states. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, car rentals in Europe are much cheaper than North America
