How to get over homesickness - Au Pair Style

As promised, here is the video I've made to try and explain to people how I've been trying to cope with my homesickness. Like I said in the video, I've received a lot of different asks from people online about how I'm doing and how I'm coping with being far away from home as an Au Pair. This is a bit of a rambly video, but I felt that just getting these ideas and stuff into the video was the best way to just let it all go.
I mentioned a few different facebook pages and different websites that I've had recommended to be by different Au Pairs throughout the world. The facebook ones are mostly specific to Ireland, but I'm sure there are a million different pages similar to these for any country that you're an Au Pair in!

Im in my 2nd week of 2 months being an au pair I have nsver missed home so much in my life my emotions are everywhere !! Thank you for all the advice in this video and i brought my favourite teddy from home too !!

Very good. Im glad you're making friends over there! I feel like I comment on and like or favorite everything you post on your social media platforms. Does that make me a good friend or a crazy person? The question will remain unanswered, I suppose. I miss you tons though and I really hope I get to come visit while you're over there!!

I wanna go home so bad too and its not that i think about it 2 a day it is all the time night and day! i am constantly thinking about my family and friends and also the places i like in my country. i realize that i love my life back in france and that I really want to travel in USA but that i could never lived away from my family again. My mom was like why dont you want to go to england (because it is 1 hour away from where i live) i reply that i want to discover usa because it is easy for me to go to England but I regret my choice so bad now... she was right
