@paul_Kips86 thank! I've been using the V3 VTX with a V2 HD cam. Something about that combo just looks so damn clean. Been switching everything over to it.
Take a pen that is used to "write" circuits, break it open, and with a tiny pinstripe brush repaint the spiral several times. save the leftover in a contact case
Yeah, I’ve never had an issue with the ceramic antenna not being enough but more the fact that I’ve broken the antenna off. So I’ve resorted to the HM EP1 for my freestyle quads 3.5” and 5”… or the HM Diversity on the long range 5”/7”.
@TorontoFPV appreciate it! They are the V1 fatshark goggles with the letsflyRC trueRC mod. Printed a new front shell and have 4 TrueRC X air directly connected inside. Shawn (letsflyRC) has a video on it.
Foxeer got one for race with flat solid ceramic antenna i don't know how it performs yet but i changed all my race quad from this tower ceramic because sometimes decides to fly away
Ya Ceramic antennas are great. I have a few quads with then and i get great range even out of a 1s flywoo. why wouldn't Ya want to run a ceramic on a basher . very flyable cost effective. Great flying xORLOCKx as always.
But...... Are you sure about that!? 😂 I use ceramic on both my 3.5" freestyle quads and they aren't even these nice ones. Always lose video before radio link still!
Congrats on the 3k brahh looking good man🫡💯
Ace video man! Great to see this is an option!
I’ve used whatever random rx ceramic antenna between the stack and camera. I’ve never had a failsafe either.
Split S addiction
Man, that picture is so clean & the Matty is sure looking smooth!

Nice! I've had a ceramic on my bench for a while and might give it a go soon!
@talonfpv the matek one works great! 1w 500hz and you can see it wasn't even close to the edge.

Never had ELRS cause a fly away 🤷
I've seen those flat antennas. They look perfect for racing

I’ve used the ceramic antenna a few times on my freestyle quads. My only problem is I broke a couple of them, but your brake antenna is too.
Yeah everything will break eventually. This just minimized it for me. I do have to be aware of my straps or it will rip them off in a lipo hit
i run a ceramic on the inside of my camera chassis and i have never had a failsafe, i run elrs 250hz
