Beautiful little video. Bikes look wonderful and the story portrayed is motivating but the reality is this: Winnats Pass and riding in the Peak District in general is fucking savage. If you speak to anyone who lives or rides here they will tell you that the vast majority of the time you spend hours climbing in the pissing rain and freezing cold. Your bike gets covered in mud, Sheep shit and rotten branches and You get lost and concerned you are trespassing on somebody’s land, even though it looks so desolate you wonder why the fuck somebody would actually be bothered to own it. I have never ridden a Cotic bike but based on where they originate from I would assume the following characteristics. 1. Tough. Because its rocky and muddy 2. Slack head angle. Because there are steep bits 3. Compliant rear end. Because it’s rocky 4. Made from steel. Because it’s tough and compliant 5. Has space for big fat tyres. Because it’s rocky. 6. Somehow manages to accommodate all the latest MTB standards. (This is because people from the North of England generally come from poorer backgrounds so like to get the most for their money) So will be able to use all the bits from their previous3 bikes. 7. Will generally be ridden by somebody who gets pleasure from pain. I am not affiliated with this brand but I just happen live in the North England which coincidentally is where these bikes originate from. Believe me, I would prefer to live in SoCal or some other shiny place but hey, at least I do not live in a Warzone.
@CoticBikes your videos are very cool and motivating. Now I really want to go out on my bike again (sadly, not a Cotic)
here in singapore.... epic rides and views like that are only but a dream... :(
+SuperGee75 are most of your trail and cycling routes flat???
