    Stayed here straight for 9 nights for my Business related trip last November (Came from Mumbai), and it was by far a great experience. Booked a 900 sq feet room known as the "Executive Suite", and got a decent deal costing me Rs 34,000/night (instead of 39k) including breakfast. All the commodities were taken care off well and the stay was worth.
    Having stayed quite a few times in Taj, ITC Maurya and The Ashok in New Delhi, I say this one is legit upto the standards of other Luxury hotel chains.

    The service at the Leela Palace was top notch. From the way the concierge, Gaurav was so ready to help with any experience or reservation, to Rashi (I hope I am spelling her name correctly) who was the most amazing guest ambassador on the club level. Rashi was so kind and made my partner and I feel very at home with her food recommendations, kind and professional demeanor, and genuine interest in conversation. After staying in multiple hotels in India, it is apparent that hospitality is excellent in the country as a norm. The Leela palace was the best service we received during our entire trip. If ever going back to Delhi, I will absolutely stay here again.

Having been to New Delhi only once I stayed in a very good hotel in the "enclave" It was quite interesting that when you left the poverty and the hustle and bustle of the city behind you and there were all the big houses and Diplomatic buildings etc...!! I cannot for the life of me remember it's name but it had a fantastic Indian restaurant which had 2 Michelin stars. The week after I was there Mr Putin and his crew were moving in to 3 floors of the hotel and I do know the Australian cricket team used to stay there !! I also recall getting on a bus at the airport and as we left there was an elephant walking along the "freeway" into the city !! Thanks as always for another great video !!

      what does that mean? What do you define as service? Are you sure it was even 5 stars? In NYC 5 star concierges are the model of the world. sold-out sporting events, the finest wine, personal gourmet dining experience; celebrity meet ups--they can make anything happen.

    • @nikhilkay1

      @@Movin2Elite yeah, celebrity meet ups, finest wines, gourmet dining experience doesn't define great service. every 5 star hotel has that everywhere in the world. When I say service people are ready to help you out as fast as possible without the need to ask all the time. I went to five star in Nepal, it had all the stuff you mentioned, hotel was grandeur much better looking aesthetically than anything in New York. people knew when I wanted to light up a cigarette. @mirmarish This is not expensive? I think it's not cheap either. Mostly the basic/entry level rooms in every 5 star Hotel has the price in the likes of that only. The most expensive room (Presidential Suite) has a price tag of over 8000 Euros here.

    • @digiartly
      @digiartly 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @mirmarish You have to understand that the middle class or even for upper middle class people of India, 180euro is expensive. And I would say waste of money as well. There are lot of more hotels way less cheaper with equally good amenities and services like Leela palace.

    Another exemplary vlog, I envy you sometimes. We stayed at the ITC Mauriya, what they have in scale the Leela certainly seems to make up in aesthetic details and opulent quality.

    Good morning my friend.
    The hotel looked splendid, well decorated and had the look of pure luxury. The food however!! I would like to see more on my plate for a good meal.
    Keep up the great reviews
    Kind regards

    Your videos of the 5-star hotels are superb! I've just seen two so far, but have immediately subscribed already. Am curious: What camera do you use, and do you use a gimbal as well?
    And, don't the hotel staff object to your filming? I believe after the Mumbai blasts in India, filming in hotels is a strict no-no. Do you take prior permission from the management?
