So refreshing to see a non-twenty something discuss healthy hair. I reached waistlength in my late 50s after beating cancer in my late 40s. Today's beauty standards pressure older women to cut their hair but after all I've been through, I refuse to comply! I like my hair long and I bond with my granddaughters! They like to style it and listen to my healthy hair tips!

Thank you! My sisters have cut their's for years and now they can't grow it or they don't have any, but they tell me to I would look younger if I cut my hair. I have had some health problems, but I h kept my hair over shoulder length. Only 1 of my brothers had the same attitude as me and incouaged me not to cut my hair as well as my mom. Their on a new journey now.

@@summerchirstmas4724 yes, I heard that too, but why cut when an updo, braids or ponytail can give the same effect? Its rare for Indian, Native American, Asian and some tribes in African countries for women to cut their hair as they age. Enjoy your long hair as long as God allows you to stay on this side!❤

It woulda been faster if you had put it in the fridge for a few hours when it was the consistency of milk. The fridge will slightly solidify the butters and when you whip it with the mixer, it'll become creamy instantly.
