    Safety first, we need more of these videos! :-) Is there a small typo in the Portuguese subtitles at 2:15, should it be "câmera" rather than câmara?

    • @SimpletonPortuguese

      No. "Câmera" is the most common spelling in Brazil. "Câmara" in Portugal.

      Obrigado @@SimpletonPortuguese , my online Portuguese dictionary specifies some differences between Brazil and Portugal, but obviously not all.

      @@glennlangford7736 This is a very minor difference. A lot of people won't even notice unless they see the word written down.

I'm dying to make/I was dying to make/I've been dying to make...". A sério, ser pedante é uma doença.

    • @SimpletonPortuguese

      Obrigado! Porém, não estava a tentar dizer "I almost died while making this video" e sim "I almost died in order to make this video". Correções são sempre bem-vindas!

    Olá! Obrigada pelo vídeo! I would have said: I almost died making (and not ”to make”) this video 🙂

    • @SimpletonPortuguese

      Olá e obrigado! I am probably wrong, but, in my mind as a non-native speaker of English, the two things are different. Is "dying in the process of making a video" expressed the same as "dying as the condition for the video to be made"? Does this make sense? In Portuguese, those are different sentences ("quase morri a fazer este vídeo" e 'quase morri para fazer este vídeo". It could be a case of thinking in Portuguese while speaking English.

      I have to disagree. I am an American and native English speaker for 60 years. I think your suggestion is correct, but so is the title. To me, they both mean the same thing. I don’t think the title is 100% correct, as is your suggestion.
