So glad you were able to go to Nassau and celebrate and enjoy your birthday. The shell you received is called a Conch (konk) shell. It would have been great if you had, had time to to the restaurants area called "the Fish Fry"..where several Bahamian restaurants are. If you haven't before had the opportunity to try Conch Fritters, you would have had a delicious snack to top off your birthday. They say if you put the sea shell to your ear and be in a quiet place, you can hear the ocean. Belated Birthday Greetings to you. 😊 enjoyed your blog!!!
