Never understood how much power gains were affected by air temp until I got my hemi screaming on a 40-45 degree day, I can’t imagine how bad it affects boost levels, definitely want a legacy gt
I wanted white on white.. Such a good color for that car. I got obsidian black and I love it too.. These cars are leaps and bounds better looking than the new Legacys. It's like someone at Subaru said "WOAH-we are making WAY too much money.. Let's sabotage the Legacy line."
My '06 LGT doesn't have much body roll. Anything you turn fast will have some roll. And my brakes are fine; just regular ceramic brakes. Also, it's AWD not a 4x4. It shares the same small block 2.5 as the sti but has the internals of a wrx. I had a 02 bugeye wrx, and this Legacy with a 5spd was way more fun. The top mount intercooler is better than front mount, because you have to remove certain safety peices of the bumper to fit it.
Just bought one of these last night. Never had a subaru before and to be honest I'm shocked how fast it is lol. I had no idea what these are capable of
My point still stands, have you experienced a car with real "body roll"? All cars have body roll to some extent, the Spec B is even less in that regard, and the standard Legacy isn't advertised as "sporty". I don't know... Each to their own.
the legacy gt's suspension is a bit soft stock. Swaybars, links, etc would help a lot. My legacy is lowered on bc coilovers and even has some oversteer, at least with a bit of throttle. Also has '04 sti brembos in the front (bolts right on). It might ride like shit but she also grips.
The Spec B version of the Legacy GT has number of STI updates (e.g., 6 speed transmission, tighter suspension, etc.) but there were fewer, so they are more rare. My mechanic, who owns an 06 LGT, was telling me that the 05 & 06 have the same blocks as the STI, and the 07 - 09 have the same block as the same year WRX. Check the legacygt com site for common problems to watch for and for sale by owner listings.
He keeps saying 4 wheel drive but I think he means all wheel drive. 4WD is typically on SUVs and trucks, AWD is typically on sports cars , sedans and etc.
Love this car. Ive owned one for 12 years and am considering selling. Each year I say the same thing and keep it another year. www.blindedbythesite.com/Subaru.html Its got 116K but still looks essentially the same.
Looking at picking one up tonight. Super excited!

Interesting choice for a review. Great dialog and content as usual. Obvious Michael knows his car which makes for a good flow of useful information.

huge fan of the legacy
I’ve got the 3.0r or h6 spec.b I feel like that is a legitimate sleeper car, no hood scoop but still gives out a factory 180kw

I don't think anyone would expect the AWD system to be the same as a Landcruiser, Landrover or a Jeep bud. No need to explain.
Just rebuilt 2 of them. Cheap with blown engines/misfires. :) Thinking about doing some upgrades to one.
It seems like a pretty fun and cool car.

What year STI did you get that driver seat from? Beautiful LGT by the way!!👍
Body roll? Have you ever experienced body roll? I won a 3-litre 05 Legacy waggon (not Spec.B) and there's barely any body roll... Was this a mistake?
Yeah I have a 2.5 gt sedan, and there is virtually no body roll.
Maybe he is mistaking body roll of something else?

The mishimoto radiator cap goes on the upper tank, not the radiator.
are you confusing turbo lag with the boost threshold?
you said turbo lag then you said its fine above 3500rpm?
Yes, technically I meant boost threshold but almost everyone uses the misnomer "turbo lag" nowadays so I tend to do the same
Were did he get that carbon fiber trim
have you found where he got it?
he has 06-07 legacy gt spec b rims
Where was this filmed?
What sweater are you wearing? It looks similar to a Narita Dogfight sweater I have.
It's a Circuit Spirit hoodie. The local NSX club did a group buy. Very high quality and comfy!
Love this car!
The GD wrx 02-07 was an EJ205
I'm about to get me one of these at a 100,000 miles . Is there anything "special" I should look for?

When is the video about your next car coming out?
In the next 1-2 weeks. I'm trying to make moves on a particular car right now, stay tuned!
I actually own a 2006 Spec B haha its a great car
Is the blow off valve after market?
Jake Fox yes
If I get a short ram intake or cold air intake would I have to get a tune?

you're thinking of 4x4, 4wd is correct here for an awd
This was still far from the grip levels that this car can achieve
I have this but jdm right hand drive 2.0t tdo4 hla 19-t i put a intake and remove cat my best ran was 13.4
Is this a new trend tht these guys r turning to subarus instead of cadillacs

The car owner is like a male version of that girl from american pie "this one time, at band camp"
Anti roll bar upgrade.
the body roll sounds like my Saab lol but maybe not as good overall aside from the engine
The world shoud get ready to see 30 inch chrome rims on subies now
Love it all day push prety hard
I thought the wrx had a 2 liter and the wrx had a 2.5
For 2015+ the WRX has a 2 liter while the STi has the old 2.5
Why he said Colin Mcrae, was a great rally racer.
you shift to slow you need to shift fast in order creat a forward trust
LMAO sloww
The Real Cody Bersick shut up bitch
