Ikr? I first noticed Haruto sounding like NCT Mark when he rapped in front of the judges. And also am I the only one who thinks Jay kinda gives Bruno Mars typa vocal?
I also agree with this. Jay's vocals has some kind of "flavor" i don't know a better way to describe but just feels really pleasant to me. As if he could sing anything and will still sound good.

Honestly I feel like gyuvin just hasn’t gotten to show himself on the show much at all cause people at the live voting confused him as the center two times. Like the way the stages are shown probably also have to do with something since the live experience is definitely gonna be different. Gyuvins reveal cover made a strong case for him since the beginning for me as well. In the end, popularity matters more in survival shows and the point of these survival shows is to make a group with enough star power to be able to push forward among all these trainees. I think all of the top 9s deserve their spots because they have obviously been able to mean something for people enough to get them devoted. I don’t think anyone should shame fans for being fans of certain trainees and the gyuvin hate is getting way out of hand considering he’s one of the sweetest people and actually talented and has the idol aura

Gyuvin hate gives me the feeling of wonyoung's hate . Like these two idols deserve good things but the haters are like looking for a point to hate them.

I don’t like gyuvin. I don’t find him attractive, I don’t find his abilities outstanding, I don’t even find him appealing or eye catching in the slightest, but that would never lead me to say that he doesn’t deserve his position. All fans need to realize that every trainee on boys planet WORKS HARD and deserves whatever positive results they get. There may be trainees who don’t get the appreciation they deserve, but there will never be a trainee who doesn’t deserve the appreciation that they get. Stop wasting time hating on other trainees and instead use that time to promote your favorite trainee.
He is so low in terms of my picks but i can’t deny that the hate train is childish and stupid. If he stood out to the live audience that much then obviously there is a reason for that
I dont get why gyuvin gets all the votes, but also I guess he has a presence when he is on stage or something? I have been voting like crazy for Matthew. Like I feel so bad for him. Seeing his ranks drop makes me so mad at mnet. They stretched the drama over three episodes, making it look like he was being immature, and I have seen so many people hate on him. he has also been receiving hate since someone decided it would be funny to spread that the views on his fancam are fake. He's on the 9th spot now and I feel like he's going to drop off completely.

I feel like Switch is one of those songs you either love and find addicting or you just find too much/confusing/annoying, luckily I really love the song and it includes several of my top9 and all of them did so well; I really hope Park Hanbin actually has a chance to debut now, Mnet doesn’t seem to mind him (obviously not first priority but still someone who they see as an option, especially as a leader if HoeTaek doesn’t debut and I’m so happy that they don’t edit him weirdly/don’t show him at all)

imagine saying Say My Name is a basic song in the industry when kpop boy groups barely do cute concepts anymore... there's a reason why Say My Name charted the highest.

Overall I think they should make the debut group possibly of an 11 or even 12 member. The skill set of alot of these guys is insane.

my ranking of the battles! (based on the song, performance and overall)
1. Over Me - Best song in my personal opinion, Jay carried with vocals, Jeonghyeons rap was too good
2. En Garde - Seunghwan and Hui vocals >>>
3. Supercharger - i dont know about you guys...but Haruto hard carried that one
4. Say My Name - performance was extremely cute and i loved Matthew!
5. Switch - ehhh not the best song but still overall great performance, whole team ate with that one (especially kamden)

I think people should Stop saying this nonsense things that Gyuvin doesn't deserve his position. But you all don't know the pain and the efforts he tooks is so high than other trainees. Even one experienced choreographer in his reaction said that the Gyuvin done his part best cause with that long legs and big height it impossible to balance the body while dancing. But he carried out perfectly. This is known as struggle. Please for God sake stop this Hate Trend of Gyuvin. It's a request to all haters. Please stop it .
I feel like the mentors should be able to pick 2 extra members for the final line up as a suprise
4:38 plsss I'm obsessed with that part as well and I'm just really in love with kum junhyeons vocal color which is my main upopular opinion, his voice is actually my favorite out of all the contestants oop

I feel like people are grouping any negativity about Gyuvin as bullying and not considering some of the criticism. I will say the ‘dozen’ comments are rude and doesn’t make sense to me so I’ll ignore that cuz it’s not like he’s untalented .
BUT majority of global viewers don’t understand why he is in top 9. And honestly since so many people are saying it we should look at it rationally cuz there has to be some truth to it.
I don’t get why Gyuvin is in top 9 either. I haven’t found anything he does outstanding. Not kidding I even rewatched eps 2-3 to see if I was missing something with him and Yujin.
Gyuvin is fine but it’s not like he excels in a particular role. I won’t lie, I’m annoyed he made it back to top 9 in the 3rd elimination because there are more talented contestants that dropped and quite frankly all I ever see knetz praise is his visual and how ‘cute’ he is. Even Somi did the same lol.
Maybe Gyuvin stands out more live, idk cuz I haven’t been in the live audience so we only have the performances to judge. Even in En Garde him making 1st place over Gunwook, Seunghwan and Hui?! Cmon just felt like bias voting from live audience

FACTS. He is for sure talented, but i didnt even notice him until he was announced top 9 in the second elimination, and there are other better dancers and rappers than him. Like he is good, he works hard, but nothing stands out to me, and i also dont get why he ranked first twice in the live voting over matthew and jiwoong? And then gun wook / hui / seung hwan? Like how?
pls i agree with most of these so much!! the supercharger moments are SOOOO satisfying i keep replaying them esp the haruto center one... and i'm still mad about ep 9 ngl the editing was everywhere but showed us nothing WHY THE REWINDS?? WHY THE CUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE?? WHY SO MUCH SCREENTIME TO DUCKS?????

My personal rankings would be:
1. SuperCharger (Haruto SLAYED)
2. Over Me (Jay's voice was perfection)
3. En Garde (Gunwook and Hui carried)
4. Switch (Not a fan of the song) (NA KAMDEN should have won instead of Park Hanbin IMO)
5. Say My Name (I dislike this song SO MUCH) (Matthew CARRIED)
The only reason Switch is higher then Say My Name even though I don't like either song is because I despise Say My Name. The members did good and all (Matthew slayed) I am just not a fan of cute concepts.

i agree with with pretty much everything, one thing thing i keep wondering about with survival shows is why so many trainees actually care about which part they get at this point in the show? Like i do understand why matthew was upset because of the way everything was handled but i think about halfway through the season most watchers have already chosen at least some picks and then you just need positive screentime which is out of your control (and i feel not too dependent on the actual part you have?)
Probably because the show is filmed so well in advance like we see the performance 2/3 weeks after they're filmed so too us it seems like it's too late but it might not be for them. Also performances are more fun when you have more parts and aren't hidden in the back ig. The pressure of survival shows and the helpness of knowing ppl already have picks and you aren't one is what could motivate you to work harder and want to appear more on screen because i mean you have to do something, this is your future on the line.
@@miishaa Yeah, you make some good points, i just sometimes think some of them could pick a little more strategically if you look at previous produce seasons since i feel like being desperate for parts gets edited badly often but i get that it's easy for me as a viewer to say that

I think that if people will be complaining of the minor getting older fans who are willing to pay money to see him than maybe he shouldnt debut and perform at high schoolsnor something 😂. I personally worry for his mental health in a cut throat industry. My picks are jeong and hui.

I have some things to say but I won't say all of them.
1. We missed out on Haruto. He was my third pick and I can't believe people stopped voting for him. He carried Supercharger on his back and this is what he gets?
2. Shanbin taking the main vocal part from Jay doesn't sit right with me. He knows how precarious of a position Jay is in and that he desperately needs a part. He could've moved anyone else, but why Jay? Idk it just really doesn't sit right with me and I don't like it.
3. Matthew suits the Jelly Pop killing part the most imo.
4. I sincerely hope that Jay gets more votes, he's my pick besides Matthew. Thankfully some of Jin from BTS's fans are voting for him so fingers crossed 🤞🏼
5. I feel like bepler will only get 4 g group members at most since a lot of them were eliminated, and us international fans need to focus our votes on g group since Koreans will vote for k group.
6. Haobin and mattbin annoy me. It's mostly because they use them for clout and they're always pushing friendships. Just let them be friends, we don't need to know every little thing they do. And atp, I'm not really here for friendships, I'm here for my picks.
7. Bepler's current lineup is really weak. The vocals are weak, the dance line is okay, and the rapping is pretty much non existent except Keita. Not another Kepler please.

I agree with you on the second one, like main vocal + probably killing part is a bit too much, especially for someone who already has secured a place in the final group. Like I get he wants to stand out even more on the final round but bro calm down I already know you are talented let me see the other ones 😭

@@Im_zowiexactly! It's pretty much guaranteed that he'll get the killing part over any other candidate since many people love him, so taking the main vocal part was a bit too much. I still love him tho and wish the best for both of them

My ranking for the songs the first listen was 1. En gaurde, say my name, over me, switch and super charger. But my ranking changed after the performance its not say my name, supercharger, over me, en guarde and switch. ALSO! I don’t know why the small impromtu musical reading had a LOT of benefits for something they hadn’t prepared for.

@@zequinhaslover63 to be fair i feel like any trainee wouldn’t choose to be sub vocal 6 during the finale (shanbin isn’t my one pick tho) but it’s did break my heart i felt bad for jay but shanbin j wanted to showcase as much talent as he possibly can bc it’s a finale and he probably feels pressure. it’s j a shake bc jay deserves a lot more than sub vocal 6 since he’s at risk but that’s my opinion

@@soraya131 I don't think Shanbin is at fault but like cmon now, he's first place for the entire show, no way he's dropping. What's the point of getting the killing part and main vocal? He also knows that Jay hasn't been in the top9 since the first elimination so he needs that part. That's the part that makes me mad. He could've chosen any other part but he chose someone in a pretty precarious position.
the final groups of these shows never release the third mission songs as their version, so the possibility of them performing over me is there, but the possibility of them releasing over me as a final group version is extremely small

Also Over me is only performed by some trainees and only Zhang Hao have high chance of debuting. However Enhypen did make an Enhypen version of Flicker from I-land.

I think the meaning of Say my name chorus choreo is creating a big heart balloon or bubbles then they cut it so it will fly to reach the girls or all viewers heart. It's just my theory. Hahaha.

And yes he was edited negatively because the entire thing mostly got sorted in a day or so but mnet dragged it for fvcking 3 eps causing ppl to drop him. Just don't say anything if you don't like him and I'm pretty sure you lack critical thinking..
i agree that matthew was in a tough situation but his reaction was over the top regardless because i understand the inital shock but at the end of the day he couldnt pull it off and he knew he couldnt so in the name of teamwork he shouldnt have dragged it out that far imo
He was upset for like a few hours because they changed his position the day of the evaluation and we saw in the ep he was in better spirits after the evaluation (afaik). Mnet just dragged out the drama for 4 weeks to make it seem like matthew wasn't a team player. I thought it was a simple observation that mnet was using matt and the popular team for some drama but like apparently some smooth brained ppl took it seriously and started a hate train. Anyways he wasn't the one who dragged it out, it was clearly mnet milking the situation.
The way I see it, I too thought his reaction was over the top at first but later wen he explained why he was that upset I understood him cus it was relatable I dont think its necessarily 'immature' of him anyone in that show can be like that in his shoes. It was just mnet dramatizing the whole thing bcs it was seok machu

@@darkboy2216 doing all of what? showing human emotions? being upset for not even half a day? like i wasn't gonna reply because this was a long time ago but this entire situation is so funny to me, people were acting like he punched hanbin in the face and spat on jiwoong when all he did was take some time [ literal hours] to calm his emotions lmao and yeah he cried, so what? all the trainees said the competition and filming aspect was stressful, maybe that was his tipping point who knows
