I have a secret theory that they made this the gayest season ever on purpose to capitalize on shipping culture. Hanbin specializes in historically gay dances (whacking and tutting) and has a cute friendship with Matthew, Jiwoong does BL, Seo Won and Woonggi are in the same dorm covering Hype Boy, Doha confessed his love, Anthonny, Haruto, Kuanjui, Sungmin, Ricky, Jongwoo, etc etc
Jay should go solo if he’s not picked. He’s so talented and it will be obvious by then that the K-System doesn’t value in a boy group his potential. Which is crazy to me.
I think out of all the G-group trainees Seok Matthew actually has the highest chance of debuting. Yes even higher than Zhang Hao. He's ethnically Korean so he won't be negatively impacted by the nationality bias and Mnet has already given him plenty of screentime to establish him as his own separate person with a compelling backstory. Anthonny and Kim Taerae are both under W1 so I wouldn't count them out. Especially Kim Taerae, I think he has Kim Chaehyun upside to him. (And if Hui for some reason isn't in the finale I'd say Taerae's almost a guarantee). As for Jay, he's probably a shoo-in for the finale but I agree that the 50% weighing of Korean votes will likely keep him from debuting. There's no way Mnet will let Wang Zihao debut. He'll probably be gone after the 2nd round, and if he somehow sticks around he's still lacking in the Korean support needed to debut. Sure, Huening Bahiyyih had more international fans (ranking 1st in global votes) but she still ranked 7th in Korean votes. I don't think Zihao has that or will be able to cultivate that. The star support also doesn't fully show who has the most 1pick support bc people are able to use multiple accounts to vote for it, which isn't possible for the official voting.
I'm not the best at analysing but I saw in the mnet app that Zihao haa the highest support like 80% or smth So how can he not debut when he has so much support from the fans
taerae anthonny and jay will probably all make it to finale so it wouldn't definitely wouldn't be impossible! for zihao you're probably right, i do still think his one pick will seriously catch a lot of people off guard but the chances of actually debuting are slim for sure. he'll have a lot of odds against him
@@daze5901 In GP999 there was a similar support voting. Okazaki Momoko won 1st place for it and she was eliminated in the first elimination. Her cell ranked 18th and she wasn't even the most popular trainee in her cell, Wen Zhe was gaining them most of their support (J21 vs C11)

Yes, Zihao gets votes there faster than others, but this vote does not affect trainee's ranking in the standings, it just gives some bonuses to trainee, and this vote is individual. In the voting that affects the place of trainees in the standings and their passage to the next round, as of February 9, Zihao was in 38th place, in this voting you can only vote for 9 trainee at once, so even if you vote for your favorite, you will somehow have to vote for another 8 trainee, therefore, the results here can be quite unexpected. Xiaoting was a center for gp999 and she almost didn’t make it because people thought like this and voted for people “less safe”. It’s unfortunate but especially after the latest episode, some knetz are saying they won’t vote for any Chinese trainees at all. So please vote for the trainees you want even if they seem popular online. nothing is guaranteed and knetz can and will turn on anyone, especially foreign trainees, easily!

Sometimes I feel like I am the only one rooting for Park Gunwook. I barley see people talk about him. I think it has to do with Mnet evil editing making him appear cocky, too confident or rude when he isn’t any of those things. He is a whole sweetheart and is doing what he can to win. He isn’t ranked high enough which was surprising to me because he has it all. Visual, Stage presence, Dancing, and Singing. He really ate it up during the first episode and I still can’t believe he isn’t ranked above. Anyways Gunwook fighting!! You will debut. All four of these guys are my top picks! They’re one of the best if not the best of G-Group and the most debut-ready, especially Jay. All of them are stacked with talent and so much potential.
I HATE the one pick system, if I'm voting for a debut group then LET ME VOTE FOR THE AMOUNT OF MEMEBERS IN THE GROUP!!! It's not like I want to be a solo stan, and ignore the other members of the group, I want to enjoy them as a whole, so I completely don't get why we're always required to vote for one or two people at the final. I don't think that's the problem I'm more then willing to like the group as long as my no1 pick. There's no excuse for the inhumanity people show to people that weren't in their ideal line up. And I'm not sorry but Im judging you for that if you get upset because you are greedy and want everyone of your picks to make it instead of being happy for the trainees. To me this is just an excuse people use fir themselves so that they can feel free to hate trainees they didn't want when the truth is you are just greedy shitty people. I think fans after having a few top picks should instead have a general pool of trainees they'll be happy with to like. I think is greedy to be upset if not everyone in your top 9 makes it and if you didn't vote for them then that's on you. I for one have a few picks that I like simply because of their relationship to my 1 pick but I'm not getting my hopes up and that's fine. This happened with K from &Team on I-land, Gaku on &Audition and people on Produce too. So it's not that the others shouldn't have debuted or anything like that. Others maybe think so, but not me. Imo it just creates somewhat a mess when there could have been no mess at all by voting for the number of the debut members, because still the most popular ones would be the ones to debut.

@@Pr0d3gi i think there's a high chance that international fans will realizes that the only drama he's in is for his past cringy demeanor and see how much talent he has. Jay has proven time and time again that his singing skills and stage presence has been way too good (in another kpop survival show his talent was outstanding and obvious to be chosen but he didn't and fans were so confused/enraged why not). In the beginning I saw clips of him being cringy and I didn't like it but again it was years ago and if he is still like that today it wouldn't matter. He takes in feedback very seriously and is very reflective of himself (he's an introvert but on boys planet stage he makes himself extroverted to do his best stage that amazes the contestants and judges) and from episode 2 of his confidence lowering from seeing everyone on track (a lot of them are dancers and he is not - still a great dancer tho), when it came to perform for the judges he made sure to not whow his worries and insecurity and in the end executed perfectly from singing to dancing and facial expression. I can't believe I have to back him up but he's just innocent. He is reliable, reflective, and so outstanding. To any international fans that don't like him please don't fall into the propaganda. He says he find boys planet to be his last chance and he has been trying to debut for so long. If it's not Jay, then will he just be history? You can't look away from him hes always in your attention and thats what makes an idol stand out. Please support him and don't fall into the propaganda. He really is undeserving and its so great to see people recognizing his talent in episode 2 landing in top 9 🎉

He’s hardworking and is capable of growth, even if he doesn’t make it in the line-up I still think he’ll be able to be a successful western artist. The rumors about his racist past seems really fishy though, imo there is less evidence to back ppl’s claims. Jay has support from his ceo, friends, public figures such as alexa and kevin. He’s shown positive reception to lgbtq fans, protests, and parades. And by the way people are reacting by calling him derogatory terms and dogpiling on him without actual evidence (that can be easily edited) looks like another case of cancel culture (ex. garam, woojin) That is to say though, I’m neutral. If he makes it, he makes it, if he doesn’t then I also won’t be that upset.

this is interesting and definitely possible. i personally think he's already come far enough and is seeing good enough results that he may stick it out but it's definitely hard to picture him and yujin in the same group

I was even happy to see him asking other trainees for help in dancing. Also, since the first ep he says he doesn't want other trainees to treat him like a sunbae...

Ppl calling it ageism but no😭‼️ When you’re significantly older than someone, the only position you can take is older brother or mentor. There's a similar case like that in PD101 Japan season 1. There's a 3 Koreans, which is ex Halo members (Kim Youndong, Kim Heecheon, and Jeong Younghoon) who joined the show, all of their rangkings was secured from episode 1 and guaranteed to debut. But right after the third elimination and before the final mission starts, Kim Heecheon left the show first and the two remaining followed. It was said due to personal reasons but I guess one of the main reasons all of them suddenly quit like that was because some of the "netizens" complained that it's too much if the three of them debut in the final group (JO1), it'd be a shame and pity for the remaining japanese trainees. I understand why the three do that but I'm not lying that it's heartbreaking when the news came out because they're one of my pick and got a great chemistry with the other trainees :') it's a shame because they were so hopeless that they even joined the newest produce show that's not even in Korea. they have to learn japanese, adapt and have a secured rankings but they decided to gave it to their japanese friends, they're so kind ugh I can't-- :( but now I'm happy that they have debuted in Japan, with the other 4 trainees from PD101 Japan that managed to go final but didn't get to debut lineup
wang zihao is very talented but sadly mnet doesn't give him any screentime he's probably the only ALL STAR trainee who didn't get to showcase his talent like an ALL STAR not getting screentime is PURE EVIL. he was even seen helping other trainees in the bg in pixels, man is very humble and kind. hope he gets some recognition for his talent in the coming episode 🙏 PLEASE VOTE FOR WANG ZIHAO EVERYONE !!!

I'm honestly rooting for Keita because he has gone through YG training, which is like wild as fuck!! Like did you see his performance on Block B's "Zero for conduct"?? He was so relaxed and he slayed... It's weird that he's not on the Top 9. Zhang Hao said in one of the episodes that some of the K-Trainees don't have outside experience and he's worried for them, and I understand where he is coming from. Debuting is like landing on a huge job in a successful company thanks to a whole lot of past experiences and training. I'm aware that there are people who have debuted despite having 1-2 years of training, but different people have different abilities. I feel like anyone who takes Rank 6 is safe. This is because CLC Yujin was ranked 6th in the beginning and then she started go rise up. But Hui needs to be careful because he's not confident with his dancing. I remember one of the judges saying that they are looking for singers first, so Hui has a great benefit. In terms of support points, Hiroto, Zhang Hao, Wang Zihao has so much support!!

We have people like Olivia Hye who debuted in Loona after one day as a trainee. However Olivia Hye did train in a dance acedemy. Normally idols with short training times usually have experience some other training like vocal and dance academies so they have the skills to debut even if they did not train with the company for long.
to further clarify (not saying that you're wrong), what Zhang Hao was actually saying was that Yuehua K trainees did not undergo any training/classes outside of Yuehua's own internal training system.....Yujin and Gyuvin were probably too used to Yuehua's instructors' training styles and pace, hence they kinda struggled at the start trying to learn the signal song from the dance masters

u predicted more than a half of the lineup which is already crazy the ones you missed, taerae had craazy korean fanbase, which definitely carried him (also panic voting definitely helped) ricky had huge intl fanbase and towards the end, he managed to get korean fanbase too, so he made it! matthew is the same case as ricky, him blowing up on tiktok even more personally, i was only surprised by gunwook and really underestimated his one pick fanbase
I can’t emphasize enough how important it is for people that like Zhang Hao to keep voting for him. We saw what almost happened last time with Xiaoting. Everyone assumed she was guaranteed to debut, but she barely made it after the one pick system started. Zhang Hao has been getting a lot of love but he’s a foreigner/Chinese member at the end of the day, and he faces more barriers compared to Hanbin, Jiwoong, and Yujin because of that. We’ve already seen how those 3 are stable as the top 3, but Zhang Hao hovers around 7th place, which makes me nervous. Zhang Hao is not only objectively beautiful and talented, but he’s also a really sincere and humble person, and I just think he’s a star. Please keep voting for Zhang Hao!

Keita has gone through a lot. He has trained under YG, and his training period is 9 years which is really crazy. And when he performs he’s really relaxed and it looks like that he is having the best time on stage, his also an all rounder which he can produce music, sing, rap, and dance. and I’m happy to see that there’s good editing about him and I hope he debutes. Keita fighting !! Also wish the best for other contestants!!
With regard to what you said about Seowon and Woonggi; I think Seowon has a much better chance, because Woonggi has had almost no screentime in the first two episodes, and they're very obviously shipping Seowon with Jiwoong. The circumstances around Woonggi's removal from TO1 also make it not look good for him
you could definitely be right! i wanted to leave it open in case woonggi has a really good one pick chance but if it does come down to who gets the better editing then seowon will be in a much better place for sure
When you said that you had 4 trainees that you were sure were debuting, Sung Hanbin, Zhang Hao, Han Yujin, and Kim Jiwoong immediately popped up in my head so yeah, that's very telling lol. I would bet my life on their debut. There is no way they're not making it. This is my first survival show so I literally don't know what to expect from the finale but kAJNHBGJNK as long as those four plus Anthonny and Taerae make it I will be happy
came back here after the announcement. u predicted the k:g ratio of 6:3 and got the 5/9, not bad. i'm happy matthew made it but it saddens me that keita was the one who pulled yurina card.
I really think Matthew could debut, I personally like traines similar to him such as Anthony and Cong, but Matthew being somewhat more all-rounded, having great chemistry with han bin, being humble and speaking English will give him a solid fanbase I hope. I'm already thinking of him as my one pick and I don't really think I'll change my mind
i think one-pick voting will benefit hui and kim jiwoong the best. hui has a great fandom in South Korea and from what i've seen jiwoong has tons of fans internationally. i'm just shocked that hui's international fanbase is torn between keeping him in pentagon or making him redebut in a new group. they should consider what made hui decide to be in show in the first place. if he knew that pentagon was in safe hands he for sure wouldn't have been a contestant in a survival show. so im rooting for hui to be in the final lineup.
hui does have a TON of support in korea and will definitely be a top pick for more casual watchers or kpop fans there. and i do agree that pentagon is probably in a lot more trouble than we can see

Hui said after he got out of the army, he got back to Pentagon and the people who they used to work with didn't even want to work with them anymore. He then started thinking, "Are we really that bad that people don't want to work with us"? I think as the leader of Pentagon, he feels a lot of pressure to at least get his name out there and then, maybe more people will listen to Pentagon. I myself knew of Hui but never realized how talented he was until he got in this show, and I think a lot of people will see his charms/skills though this show.

Fr 9 people seem so less when there are so many talents in the show. I hope that despite not all of them ending up in the debut lineup, they still get attention when they debut in their own company's groups
the seunghwan and seungyoun comparison is so accurate, i was literally like YES THANK YOU when you mentioned it. and based on round 1 rumours im pretty optimistic about him getting a good edit but im going to try and not get my hopes up too much.
He did get a minor angel edit in episode 2, he helps Daeul getting the confidence he needs, does won over Daeul stans K fans and I fans alike (hopefully his ranking go up abit)....hope more people will notice his many qualities and vote for him

Wang Zihao is one of the trainees that can absoluty debut if he can advanced to final. Wang Zihao already possess 1 pick fans despite of lack of screentime.

I feel like they might want to keep Jay in the sense if they want to go global like America they have an English speaker. But seok Mathew could also fill this role. If I were mnet I would try to get Japanese contestants to break into the Japansse market. Chinese contestants are somewhat of a low priority bc they can't really promote in China. But China bars would increase the sales of the group. Also I feel like girls planet some people are just filler votes. So some at the top will end up dropping drastically in the end. Until the 1 pick system comes into play it'll be hard to tell
i personally don't think they're going to target north america, they'll probably prioritize japan and i think they'll even be pretty popular in korea. but it really depends on who gets in the final group so everything you said is very possible!

Mnet showcasing Keita made me notice him to the point he made it to my top 9, the member I'm most unsure of when it comes to voting is Hui : I truly like him and want him to accomplish the succes he deserves, but I'm not sure if redebuting is his end-goal, plus the dynamic with his future teammates could be kinda odd since there are a lot teens that are likely to debut (If I could handpick the age range of the group it would be like 98s-05s)

About Seunghwan, I feel like he's getting more and more popular recently and he's definitely a strong candidate for actually making it to the top 9 at some point of the show, he's literally got everything to debut again. There's 3 contestant that I'm 100% sure will make it unless they suddenly start getting evil editing (I don't think that'll happen though) : Hanbin, Zhang Hao and Jiwoong ; it wouldn't make any sense if they end up not making it to the group. About Yujin I don't really know how I personally feel about him yet, but he's growing on me! I really want Taerae to debut but he has almost no screen time at all, like people know him yet people don't know him at the same time :'DD ?? I also wanted to talk about Doha, I see two possible outcome for him. We'll have a Minkyu situation again (people are making fun of him everywhere), he's still really popular, he'll make it to the final without debuting and he might focus more on acting. Or he'll get a Sohye (IOI) situation were he actually debuts. I have a soft spot for trainees like him ; despite having a short training time I don't think he's that bad actually, I see him more on the rapper side and I hope we'll get to see that later on the show. He seems really passionate about was he's doing and he is willing to improve and show a better version of himself, he's also surrounded by top trainees which can be really helpful, he'll get to improve in such a short period and take the role of the dark horse perhaps ? For Hui, I don't really know if I want him in the lineup. Especially if the group is going to be a permanent group ?? Another comment said that already but I also feel like he's not planning on getting in the final lineup and is mainly participating to bring more exposure to Pentagon so I'm feeling a bit conflicted about his case. Anywayyyy I'm so excited for this week's episode, this is gonna be interesting to see if the producers will keep highlighting the same trainees, I'm pretty sure this round will play a big part on determining who might actually make it to the final top 9. Oh yeah, here are my picks : Doha, Haruto, Taerae, Seunghwan, Jay, Ricky, Seowon, Hanbin and Zhang Hao
i have a soft spot for doha too ☹ the possibility of top trainees helping him improve is definitely a kind of story arc i could see for him! and the group almost definitely won't be permanent, when they opened applications for the show this seemed to be the route they wanted to take but they can't do that now since the contestants are from other companies

i’m honestly rooting for woonggi and sungmin so hard right now; i’ve been supporting both of them since i saw them on road to kingdom and rediscovered them on edward avila’s channel - them both being removed from to1 was so surprising to me as they were both my biases out of the two of them, i do feel like woonggi has the highest chance considering that he was one of the most popular members of to1 and also has got a decent amount of girl group stans that could push him up the ranks, and from what i’ve seen so far a lot of boys planet fans do love woonggi hoping they can debut together or at least one of them can - vote for cha woong ki and oh sungmin !
I am really rooting for Wumuti to debut despite knowing that he probably has negative chances .....I feel like no one notices or talks about him... but I really hope he does amazing in life with that beautiful voice .❤️

If anyone can debut on pure talent it's him. Let's hope for the best 🤞 And kpop idols are often required to act cringey anyways (on variety shows, at fanmeetings and in MV's depending on the concept), idk why people act like it's a negative when in reality he has extra experience for the job

i want haruto to debut so bad but unfortunately right now he’s not as popular as the other g group trainees and considering the final lineup will most likely only contain 3-4 g group trainees the chance of him debuting is more slim. i hope he gets more screen time and builds a bigger fan base in the future !
Seungwoo and Seungyoun got low rank in early time but they gained fans because of their talents and personality. Their ranks rise from 60s to Top 5. Who knows there will be trainees like them. I'm sure things will completely change.
we can't really use pdx as reference because it was rigged but i agree that any trainees can climb up in ranks if mnet starts giving them screentime to showcase their personality more
I really want gunwook to debut. His dancing and stage presence is really next level. He has that charm that attracts people. I'm really gonna cry if he doesn't debut. I really don't want such a talent to go to waste.

yes he is so underrated and people keep thinking that he was being disrespectful when he even cried because he felt sorry for his teammates when they lost because he was guilty when they were able to perform that well because of his decisions and lead.
i really want jay debuts because he would be a perfect main vocal in an idol group and i think that for now they're showing it a lot. jiwoong is an obvious one because of the big fanbase related to his acting career, especially the bl part. from the editing i'd say they REALLY want gunwook to be in the group and they obviously want as few chinese guys an possible. on the other hand it feels like they're using hui only for the angst and the sad story because that's all they're showing for now. and the two "my house" dudes are being put in there just for laughs

So i just remembered watching this video and it's quite fun to look back, I mean in the end you got 5/9 right, but 2/9 didn't even make the final round, it just shows how there are some more or less 'fixed' contestants from the start but also some really unpredictable rises (which is part of the fun while watching)

The group would struggle even more if they had to promote without their leader. They have also had many members leave, go to military service or go on indefinite hiatus. Also, I'm predicting that most trainees that will debut are born in the 2000's it might make it awkward for the team dynamic to work with someone who is both much older and a big 선배 in the industry. (IZ*ONE managed success without having a well known debuted korean idol in their lineup) I also want to see new talents and dreams being realised. It includes idols which didn't really experience real success with their former groups or promoted for a short time.
I'm predicting a very heavily pushed jiwoong/seowon ship by the edit soon but idk if it will be enough to get seowon to debut.. I would also add Matthew to the almost certainly debuting lineup actually, I think he has a lot of 1 pick potential with western fans and he's ethnically Korean so he's not going to have the same disadvantage as other g group trainees when it comes to kvoters. I don't think hui will make the final group because he really does not fit the image that mnet will be going for, I think they're gonna do everything they can to get him out of there, in which case taerae will be pushed as main vocal. I'm also hoping for yoo seungeon to debut, he stood out the most to me in the yuehua k group performance but that's less likely given him currently being overshadowed by other k yuehua trainees.. but I agree 100% with Zhang hao, sung hanbin and kim jiwoong. lee seunghwan is my no1 tho I will personally make sure he debuts 😭😭

Jay is one of my Main picks, and I'm pretty sure he isn't debuting. I think producers are setting him up for failure the way he's getting good edits on early episodes. Seok Matthew is very likely to debut with how his storyline is being played out. He's pretty well rounded, and I might be delusional, but I think he can pull of a Somi and rank number 1 on the Finale. As much as I don't want Han Yujin to debut(because of his age), He's definitely going to debut, and I think a good center candidate. I just see him as the Wonyoung/Ahn Yujin of this season. Hui could have a similar fate as Yujin(clc/Kepler) but the thing is, I don't think Hui wants to win. Every 'already debuted' idol in this shows always state that they want another shot at debut but Hui only wants validation(?) Idk I don't really mind him in the group, he's a good Vocalist too. Also I think Hiroto is the safest Japanese trainee to put in the group and the producers want him over Keita. I don't see the problem in debuting them both though. Hanbin is fully eligible for the center position of the final group. The 'signal song center curse' isn't technically true since Sakura was supposed to be the final center(yes I will die on this hill). Kim Jiwoong is Kim Jiwoong. He needs to debut for the gays.

Gun wook was a contestant on a survival show called Wild Idol. He made it all the way to final round and just missed out on making the debut lineup. He was really good on that show and I was really rooting for him. I think he’s grown a lot since then and I think that previous experience of being on a survival show is helping give him confidence to step more into leadership, take charge roles and the other jellyfish trainees seem to really trust his judgment probably because of that. He knows how these survival shows go. I think he has a lot of potential to make it really far in this show and I would love to see him finally debut

as much as i love jay, i completely agree that he doesn't have the image that producers and voters are looking for. he's way too talented for him to be concealed or evil edited without raising suspicion BUT they're already including comments from the judges and contestants talking about about his "american/pop" image, i think they're very much already saying "you're cool but we don't want you" sigh i hope the best for him
yes i've been having trouble putting it into words but it's small things like that that led to me this assumption! with jay, the editing he's gotten so far could seem like an obvious push from producers but there are small things including the emphasis on his american image i'm catching that just give me a feeling he's not necessarily a producer pick. i am a little more fuzzy about his chances now that he's getting so popular so we'll just have to see what happens

I think Seok Matthew is a guarantee. He’s ethnically korean and doesn’t struggle with the language barrier. After episode three, i think he can ride his current popularity wave all the way to debut. Mnet is scheming a G group comeback story where they lose every competition until the group battles. I think Matthew is the “ideal” pick from G group besides Zhang Hao.
Coming to this vid after the finale and 5/9 predictions were true, and I'd also like to share my thoughts on what happened. Most surprising thing that happened: Zhanghao center, 4 yuehuaz, C-line being in top 4. And explanations for why I think each member debuted and why I think Keita didnt bcs he was so robbed. - Zhang Hao: Loved by both knetz and intl fans, pretty obvious - Sung Hanbin: Same explanation as hao. - Seok Matthew: Say My Name edit almost became his down fall, but seokryudans went crazy in final week. - Ricky: Popular from PR video and a lot of knetz liked him - Gunwook: Im not super sure but i think his is from promotions his fans did + appeal his personality - Taerae: got low screentime till the very end but knetz fell in love from vids like ireumi boyeo and man in love. last interim woke up kkultaraes who were rotating and managed to put him back in top 9 Gyuvin: Extremely popular in korea but got unnecessary hate from intl voters and got called a "dozen" (term should've never left ncity) Jiwoong: Pre-show popularity but also got hate from ppl who watched the show exclusively on TikTok Yujin: Again popularity in Korea, almso thought he wasnt ginna make it bcs i didn't see that many votes in one pick but k-netz saved him Why Keita didn't debut: Although extremely popular internationally he got a lot of hate from knetz foe the most uselsess things and P18 in k-votes.
Idk about Hui not ending up in the debut line (I feel like he's way too talented and seasoned not to, but he is older than what MNET and most kfans want). I do feel like Hui joining Boys Planet likely means that Pentagon won't resign or have already quietly disbanded, because as far as I know their contract with Cube ends late 2023 (correct me if I'm wrong) which pains me a lot. Also, the fact that Hui and another Pentagon member wrote WannaOne's Energetic stings. This must be so humbling for him (probably not in a good way) but he seems to be a fair sport about it til now.

And one member (Shinwon,) who has a radio show, told us that he is someone who sticks to same places, and contracts. (Which is a really strong hint of whether he'll re-sign... ) Everything is so unclear.... Today PTG is performing at MIK Festival in Paris, yet CUBE (as always) never told us how many members will be there ...
Cube didnt really treat Pentagon as a disbanding group. They were highly active last year already deciding on the comeback and preparing for it. It looks more like this opportunity came in the middle to pause the current plan and try for aiming more general attention through Hui. The story they spun around Hui is was different from actual reality, which makes it quiet weird to watch but I guess as long as Cube gets those stats out they want Hui can drop out on his own merit before the show ends.
Please keep on voting for Anthonny!!! i wanted him to debut this time. He went far on Produce 101 Japan S2 and ranked 16th in the finale so i really want him to debut this time!!!
Found this after ZB1 members have been chosen. I went and watched the series again and took notes. I knew that Han Bin and Zhao would be chosen from the beginning. They were both promising and good partners. Jiwoong was my favorite because I knew his bio and back story. Jiwoong was the person to go to. He is a good listener and his visuals are undeniable. I was a bit worried when he dropped in ranking. Yujin was so lovable and they showcased him a lot. Park Gun Wook, I could see his potential and power. I could see him fighting for a spot each week. He is an all-rounder. Seok Matthew, I was surprised on his top ranking at first but now that I’ve gone back to watch him. He has such a great personality. I think being close to Han Bin and also Jiwoong helped him. Matthew had a lot of good singing parts and was showcased a lot by producers. Kim Tae Rae was not a strong candidate out of the top contestants. He was showcased a little but then he made a wise choice in “Man in Love” That song put him in the spotlight. Out of all of the members, his voice is the most distinctive. The viewers and myself fell in love with his voice and dimples. Gyuvin and Ricky had some really good edits. I think they were helped by the producers and fan base. Gyuvin is underestimated. I saw his performances again and he is a strong dancer and I don’t think he has had a strong vocal part but he is so good looking. He got a huge advantage when he received the bonus points and Love Killa” received the award for the week. For me, Ricky’s personality puts me off. But I’m warming up to him since the debut. Hui was my favorite and the most talented singer. His voice is The Best out of all of the 93 contestants. He ranked high because of his fan base but then I think his fans brought him down too. It was clear midway in the season that people did not want him to break from Pentagon. I think Hui didn’t fit the vision that the producers had for this new group. I became of fan of Hui and Pentagon because he deserves to be supported. Now for the ones on the edge of debuting: Keita, I think he is definitely talented and would have been a good addition due to his rapping and dance skills. But I think he is not memorable enough when up against the others. I loved him in “Zoom” Jay, so close. He is likeable and talented. I can’t say anything else. He deserves to debut. His voice is the best along with Hui. Jay should have received more votes but he was always getting pushed to the background, maybe because he’s too American? Park Han Bin, he was always one of my picks. He was always smiling. I loved him in “Law”. I watched that performance again. It was such an amazing performance and Han Bin was a strong leader. Top 20 we’re all strong contenders. Yoon Jongwoo, his performance in Back Door is unforgettable. Seo Won-cutest smile, always gave his best Seung Eon-beautiful vocal in Say My Name Wang Xi Hao was strong performer too In the end, anyone in top 20 were candidates. There could have been 2 groups to debut. ZB1 is doing awesome. The guys are working everyday to be successful. They are on their way with a couple of Music Award show wins.
mun junghyun has been my #1 pick since the here i am fancams came out. theres just something about the dude. but i didnt really expect anything since he was rarely highlighted and talked about much. literally caught off guard with the amount of screentime he got on the first few episodes 💀 bros unfortunately underrated
Wang Zihao til the end. Yes, you are right, the very minimal screentime made it difficult for nonfans to even recognize him. But we do admit, being in Yixing's agency has made it possible to get the attention of EXO-ls and Xbacks, who have been voting for him together with his solo fanbase. Everyone is rallying for him to debut given that he has the entire package - visuals, talent, and personality. Honestly, his backstory is also something that has to be heard.

I am honestly surprised that Mnet is giving Kim Jiwoong so much screentime and such a good edit so far. I thought being a BL actor and therefore having videos of him passionately making out with another man all over the internet would be too much of a brandrisk for them. Perhaps they weighed their options and ultimately just went "But he's so hot tho...", I hope they don't switch up on him later

I have a secret theory that they made this the gayest season ever on purpose to capitalize on shipping culture. Hanbin specializes in historically gay dances (whacking and tutting) and has a cute friendship with Matthew, Jiwoong does BL, Seo Won and Woonggi are in the same dorm covering Hype Boy, Doha confessed his love, Anthonny, Haruto, Kuanjui, Sungmin, Ricky, Jongwoo, etc etc

I think out of all the G-group trainees Seok Matthew actually has the highest chance of debuting. Yes even higher than Zhang Hao. He's ethnically Korean so he won't be negatively impacted by the nationality bias and Mnet has already given him plenty of screentime to establish him as his own separate person with a compelling backstory.
Anthonny and Kim Taerae are both under W1 so I wouldn't count them out. Especially Kim Taerae, I think he has Kim Chaehyun upside to him. (And if Hui for some reason isn't in the finale I'd say Taerae's almost a guarantee). As for Jay, he's probably a shoo-in for the finale but I agree that the 50% weighing of Korean votes will likely keep him from debuting.
There's no way Mnet will let Wang Zihao debut. He'll probably be gone after the 2nd round, and if he somehow sticks around he's still lacking in the Korean support needed to debut. Sure, Huening Bahiyyih had more international fans (ranking 1st in global votes) but she still ranked 7th in Korean votes. I don't think Zihao has that or will be able to cultivate that. The star support also doesn't fully show who has the most 1pick support bc people are able to use multiple accounts to vote for it, which isn't possible for the official voting.
I agree about Matthew!! I have a feeling that he can debut and be considered as a "Global" person despite being Korean. But I ain't complaining 💕💕

@@daze5901 In GP999 there was a similar support voting. Okazaki Momoko won 1st place for it and she was eliminated in the first elimination. Her cell ranked 18th and she wasn't even the most popular trainee in her cell, Wen Zhe was gaining them most of their support (J21 vs C11)
@@daze5901 mnet has two different votes, the vote you're talking about is "support vote". Yes, Zihao gets votes there faster than others, but this vote does not affect trainee's ranking in the standings, it just gives some bonuses to trainee, and this vote is individual.
In the voting that affects the place of trainees in the standings and their passage to the next round, as of February 9, Zihao was in 38th place, in this voting you can only vote for 9 trainee at once, so even if you vote for your favorite, you will somehow have to vote for another 8 trainee, therefore, the results here can be quite unexpected.

I don’t like the rhetoric that anyone is guaranteed to debut, especially foreign trainees. Xiaoting was a center for gp999 and she almost didn’t make it because people thought like this and voted for people “less safe”. It’s unfortunate but especially after the latest episode, some knetz are saying they won’t vote for any Chinese trainees at all. So please vote for the trainees you want even if they seem popular online. nothing is guaranteed and knetz can and will turn on anyone, especially foreign trainees, easily!

Sometimes I feel like I am the only one rooting for Park Gunwook. I barley see people talk about him. I think it has to do with Mnet evil editing making him appear cocky, too confident or rude when he isn’t any of those things. He is a whole sweetheart and is doing what he can to win. He isn’t ranked high enough which was surprising to me because he has it all. Visual, Stage presence, Dancing, and Singing. He really ate it up during the first episode and I still can’t believe he isn’t ranked above. Anyways Gunwook fighting!! You will debut. it's the reason why these mnet groups were always crazy successful, they make sure that each member of the group has a substantial and dedicated fanbase that will potentially buy anything that comes from the group because their #1 made it

And I'm not sorry but Im judging you for that if you get upset because you are greedy and want everyone of your picks to make it instead of being happy for the trainees. I think fans after having a few top picks should instead have a general pool of trainees they'll be happy with to like. @@ni-kingtaehyunjkyoongs2758 It's not like I hate the people that get to debut, for example for i-land I was voting for my faves but some of them didn't debut because of the lack of support from other fans and that was ok, but mostly I'm thinking about those times when very popular trainees didn't get to debut because they thought "oh that person is safe, so I'll vote for my second pick" and many times it resulted in the first pick not debuting.
This happened with K from &Team on I-land, Gaku on &Audition and people on Produce too.
So it's not that the others shouldn't have debuted or anything like that. Others maybe think so, but not me. Imo it just creates somewhat a mess when there could have been no mess at all by voting for the number of the debut members, because still the most popular ones would be the ones to debut.

@@Pr0d3gi i think there's a high chance that international fans will realizes that the only drama he's in is for his past cringy demeanor and see how much talent he has. Jay has proven time and time again that his singing skills and stage presence has been way too good (in another kpop survival show his talent was outstanding and obvious to be chosen but he didn't and fans were so confused/enraged why not). In the beginning I saw clips of him being cringy and I didn't like it but again it was years ago and if he is still like that today it wouldn't matter. He takes in feedback very seriously and is very reflective of himself (he's an introvert but on boys planet stage he makes himself extroverted to do his best stage that amazes the contestants and judges) and from episode 2 of his confidence lowering from seeing everyone on track (a lot of them are dancers and he is not - still a great dancer tho), when it came to perform for the judges he made sure to not whow his worries and insecurity and in the end executed perfectly from singing to dancing and facial expression. I can't believe I have to back him up but he's just innocent. He is reliable, reflective, and so outstanding. To any international fans that don't like him please don't fall into the propaganda. He says he find boys planet to be his last chance and he has been trying to debut for so long. If it's not Jay, then will he just be history? You can't look away from him hes always in your attention and thats what makes an idol stand out. Please support him and don't fall into the propaganda. He really is undeserving and its so great to see people recognizing his talent in episode 2 landing in top 9 🎉

He’s hardworking and is capable of growth, even if he doesn’t make it in the line-up I still think he’ll be able to be a successful western artist. The rumors about his racist past seems really fishy though, imo there is less evidence to back ppl’s claims. Jay has support from his ceo, friends, public figures such as alexa and kevin. He’s shown positive reception to lgbtq fans, protests, and parades. And by the way people are reacting by calling him derogatory terms and dogpiling on him without actual evidence (that can be easily edited) looks like another case of cancel culture (ex. garam, woojin) That is to say though, I’m neutral. If he makes it, he makes it, if he doesn’t then I also won’t be that upset.

I was even happy to see him asking other trainees for help in dancing. Also, since the first ep he says he doesn't want other trainees to treat him like a sunbae...

There's a similar case like that in PD101 Japan season 1.
There's a 3 Koreans, which is ex Halo members (Kim Youndong, Kim Heecheon, and Jeong Younghoon) who joined the show, all of their rangkings was secured from episode 1 and guaranteed to debut. But right after the third elimination and before the final mission starts, Kim Heecheon left the show first and the two remaining followed. It was said due to personal reasons but I guess one of the main reasons all of them suddenly quit like that was because some of the "netizens" complained that it's too much if the three of them debut in the final group (JO1), it'd be a shame and pity for the remaining japanese trainees.
I understand why the three do that but I'm not lying that it's heartbreaking when the news came out because they're one of my pick and got a great chemistry with the other trainees :')
it's a shame because they were so hopeless that they even joined the newest produce show that's not even in Korea. they have to learn japanese, adapt and have a secured rankings but they decided to gave it to their japanese friends, they're so kind ugh I can't-- :(

Zhang Hao said in one of the episodes that some of the K-Trainees don't have outside experience and he's worried for them, and I understand where he is coming from. Debuting is like landing on a huge job in a successful company thanks to a whole lot of past experiences and training. I'm aware that there are people who have debuted despite having 1-2 years of training, but different people have different abilities.
I feel like anyone who takes Rank 6 is safe. This is because CLC Yujin was ranked 6th in the beginning and then she started go rise up. But Hui needs to be careful because he's not confident with his dancing.
I remember one of the judges saying that they are looking for singers first, so Hui has a great benefit.

We have people like Olivia Hye who debuted in Loona after one day as a trainee. However Olivia Hye did train in a dance acedemy. Normally idols with short training times usually have experience some other training like vocal and dance academies so they have the skills to debut even if they did not train with the company for long.
to further clarify (not saying that you're wrong), what Zhang Hao was actually saying was that Yuehua K trainees did not undergo any training/classes outside of Yuehua's own internal training system.....Yujin and Gyuvin were probably too used to Yuehua's instructors' training styles and pace, hence they kinda struggled at the start trying to learn the signal song from the dance masters

I can’t emphasize enough how important it is for people that like Zhang Hao to keep voting for him. We saw what almost happened last time with Xiaoting. Everyone assumed she was guaranteed to debut, but she barely made it after the one pick system started. Zhang Hao has been getting a lot of love but he’s a foreigner/Chinese member at the end of the day, and he faces more barriers compared to Hanbin, Jiwoong, and Yujin because of that. We’ve already seen how those 3 are stable as the top 3, but Zhang Hao hovers around 7th place, which makes me nervous. Zhang Hao is not only objectively beautiful and talented, but he’s also a really sincere and humble person, and I just think he’s a star. Please keep voting for Zhang Hao!

With regard to what you said about Seowon and Woonggi; I think Seowon has a much better chance, because Woonggi has had almost no screentime in the first two episodes, and they're very obviously shipping Seowon with Jiwoong. The circumstances around Woonggi's removal from TO1 also make it not look good for him
you could definitely be right! i wanted to leave it open in case woonggi has a really good one pick chance but if it does come down to who gets the better editing then seowon will be in a much better place for sure

I really think Matthew could debut, I personally like traines similar to him such as Anthony and Cong, but Matthew being somewhat more all-rounded, having great chemistry with han bin, being humble and speaking English will give him a solid fanbase I hope. i think one-pick voting will benefit hui and kim jiwoong the best. hui has a great fandom in South Korea and from what i've seen jiwoong has tons of fans internationally. i'm just shocked that hui's international fanbase is torn between keeping him in pentagon or making him redebut in a new group. they should consider what made hui decide to be in show in the first place. if he knew that pentagon was in safe hands he for sure wouldn't have been a contestant in a survival show. so im rooting for hui to be in the final lineup.

Hui said after he got out of the army, he got back to Pentagon and the people who they used to work with didn't even want to work with them anymore. He then started thinking, "Are we really that bad that people don't want to work with us"? I think as the leader of Pentagon, he feels a lot of pressure to at least get his name out there and then, maybe more people will listen to Pentagon. I myself knew of Hui but never realized how talented he was until he got in this show, and I think a lot of people will see his charms/skills though this show.

Fr 9 people seem so less when there are so many talents in the show. I hope that despite not all of them ending up in the debut lineup, they still get attention when they debut in their own company's groups
the seunghwan and seungyoun comparison is so accurate, i was literally like YES THANK YOU when you mentioned it. and based on round 1 rumours im pretty optimistic about him getting a good edit but im going to try and not get my hopes up too much.
He did get a minor angel edit in episode 2, he helps Daeul getting the confidence he needs, does won over Daeul stans K fans and I fans alike (hopefully his ranking go up abit)....hope more people will notice his many qualities and vote for him

If I were mnet I would try to get Japanese contestants to break into the Japansse market. Chinese contestants are somewhat of a low priority bc they can't really promote in China. But China bars would increase the sales of the group. Also I feel like girls planet some people are just filler votes. So some at the top will end up dropping drastically in the end. Until the 1 pick system comes into play it'll be hard to tell
i personally don't think they're going to target north america, they'll probably prioritize japan and i think they'll even be pretty popular in korea. but it really depends on who gets in the final group so everything you said is very possible!
I'm still hoping the group's popularity will be like x1 but that's unlikely to happen so far. But if they can't, at least try to pull an iz*one card who's very popular both korea and japan😪
I really resonate with this logic. Mnet showcasing Keita made me notice him to the point he made it to my top 9, the member I'm most unsure of when it comes to voting is Hui : I truly like him and want him to accomplish the succes he deserves, but I'm not sure if redebuting is his end-goal, plus the dynamic with his future teammates could be kinda odd since there are a lot teens that are likely to debut (If I could handpick the age range of the group it would be like 98s-05s)

About Seunghwan, I feel like he's getting more and more popular recently and he's definitely a strong candidate for actually making it to the top 9 at some point of the show, he's literally got everything to debut again.
There's 3 contestant that I'm 100% sure will make it unless they suddenly start getting evil editing (I don't think that'll happen though) : Hanbin, Zhang Hao and Jiwoong ; it wouldn't make any sense if they end up not making it to the group. About Yujin I don't really know how I personally feel about him yet, but he's growing on me!
I really want Taerae to debut but he has almost no screen time at all, like people know him yet people don't know him at the same time :'DD ??
I also wanted to talk about Doha, I see two possible outcome for him. We'll have a Minkyu situation again (people are making fun of him everywhere), he's still really popular, he'll make it to the final without debuting and he might focus more on acting. Or he'll get a Sohye (IOI) situation were he actually debuts. I have a soft spot for trainees like him ; despite having a short training time I don't think he's that bad actually, I see him more on the rapper side and I hope we'll get to see that later on the show. He seems really passionate about was he's doing and he is willing to improve and show a better version of himself, he's also surrounded by top trainees which can be really helpful, he'll get to improve in such a short period and take the role of the dark horse perhaps ?
For Hui, I don't really know if I want him in the lineup. Especially if the group is going to be a permanent group ?? Another comment said that already but I also feel like he's not planning on getting in the final lineup and is mainly participating to bring more exposure to Pentagon so I'm feeling a bit conflicted about his case.
Anywayyyy I'm so excited for this week's episode, this is gonna be interesting to see if the producers will keep highlighting the same trainees, I'm pretty sure this round will play a big part on determining who might actually make it to the final top 9.

Seungwoo and Seungyoun got low rank in early time but they gained fans because of their talents and personality. Their ranks rise from 60s to Top 5. Who knows there will be trainees like them. I'm sure things will completely change.

Also, I'm predicting that most trainees that will debut are born in the 2000's it might make it awkward for the team dynamic to work with someone who is both much older and a big 선배 in the industry. (IZ*ONE managed success without having a well known debuted korean idol in their lineup)
I also want to see new talents and dreams being realised. It includes idols which didn't really experience real success with their former groups or promoted for a short time.

I'm predicting a very heavily pushed jiwoong/seowon ship by the edit soon but idk if it will be enough to get seowon to debut.. I would also add Matthew to the almost certainly debuting lineup actually, I think he has a lot of 1 pick potential with western fans and he's ethnically Korean so he's not going to have the same disadvantage as other g group trainees when it comes to kvoters. I don't think hui will make the final group because he really does not fit the image that mnet will be going for, I think they're gonna do everything they can to get him out of there, in which case taerae will be pushed as main vocal. I'm also hoping for yoo seungeon to debut, he stood out the most to me in the yuehua k group performance but that's less likely given him currently being overshadowed by other k yuehua trainees.. but I agree 100% with Zhang hao, sung hanbin and kim jiwoong. lee seunghwan is my no1 tho I will personally make sure he debuts 😭😭

Seok Matthew is very likely to debut with how his storyline is being played out. He's pretty well rounded, and I might be delusional, but I think he can pull of a Somi and rank number 1 on the Finale.
As much as I don't want Han Yujin to debut(because of his age), He's definitely going to debut, and I think a good center candidate. I just see him as the Wonyoung/Ahn Yujin of this season.
Hui could have a similar fate as Yujin(clc/Kepler) but the thing is, I don't think Hui wants to win. Every 'already debuted' idol in this shows always state that they want another shot at debut but Hui only wants validation(?) Idk I don't really mind him in the group, he's a good Vocalist too.
Also I think Hiroto is the safest Japanese trainee to put in the group and the producers want him over Keita. I don't see the problem in debuting them both though.
Hanbin is fully eligible for the center position of the final group. The 'signal song center curse' isn't technically true since Sakura was supposed to be the final center(yes I will die on this hill).
Kim Jiwoong is Kim Jiwoong. He needs to debut for the gays.

Gun wook was a contestant on a survival show called Wild Idol. He made it all the way to final round and just missed out on making the debut lineup. He was really good on that show and I was really rooting for him. I think he’s grown a lot since then and I think that previous experience of being on a survival show is helping give him confidence to step more into leadership, take charge roles and the other jellyfish trainees seem to really trust his judgment probably because of that. He knows how these survival shows go. I think he has a lot of potential to make it really far in this show and I would love to see him finally debut

I think Seok Matthew is a guarantee. He’s ethnically korean and doesn’t struggle with the language barrier. After episode three, i think he can ride his current popularity wave all the way to debut. Mnet is scheming a G group comeback story where they lose every competition until the group battles. I think Matthew is the “ideal” pick from G group besides Zhang Hao.
The top 4 G trainees are already a good member for the debut line.

Coming to this vid after the finale and 5/9 predictions were true, and I'd also like to share my thoughts on what happened.
Most surprising thing that happened: Zhanghao center, 4 yuehuaz, C-line being in top 4.
And explanations for why I think each member debuted and why I think Keita didnt bcs he was so robbed.
- Zhang Hao: Loved by both knetz and intl fans, pretty obvious
- Sung Hanbin: Same explanation as hao.
- Seok Matthew: Say My Name edit almost became his down fall, but seokryudans went crazy in final week.
- Ricky: Popular from PR video and a lot of knetz liked him
- Gunwook: Im not super sure but i think his is from promotions his fans did + appeal his personality
- Taerae: got low screentime till the very end but knetz fell in love from vids like ireumi boyeo and man in love. last interim woke up kkultaraes who were rotating and managed to put him back in top 9
Gyuvin: Extremely popular in korea but got unnecessary hate from intl voters and got called a "dozen" (term should've never left ncity)
Jiwoong: Pre-show popularity but also got hate from ppl who watched the show exclusively on TikTok
Yujin: Again popularity in Korea, almso thought he wasnt ginna make it bcs i didn't see that many votes in one pick but k-netz saved him
Why Keita didn't debut: Although extremely popular internationally he got a lot of hate from knetz foe the most uselsess things and P18 in k-votes.
gunwook is super popular in japan and he had a strong 1 pick as he had few filler votes.
ricky was always popular but he definitely got more popular during over me because he gained a lot of recognition for his vocals
Idk about Hui not ending up in the debut line (I feel like he's way too talented and seasoned not to, but he is older than what MNET and most kfans want). I do feel like Hui joining Boys Planet likely means that Pentagon won't resign or have already quietly disbanded, because as far as I know their contract with Cube ends late 2023 (correct me if I'm wrong) which pains me a lot. Also, the fact that Hui and another Pentagon member wrote WannaOne's Energetic stings. This must be so humbling for him (probably not in a good way) but he seems to be a fair sport about it til now.
it's definitely sad to watch. i think his options might be even worse than we know because he probably had to swallow a LOT of pride to make this decision

Cube didnt really treat Pentagon as a disbanding group. They were highly active last year already deciding on the comeback and preparing for it. It looks more like this opportunity came in the middle to pause the current plan and try for aiming more general attention through Hui. The story they spun around Hui is was different from actual reality, which makes it quiet weird to watch but I guess as long as Cube gets those stats out they want Hui can drop out on his own merit before the show ends.

Found this after ZB1 members have been chosen. I went and watched the series again and took notes. I knew that Han Bin and Zhao would be chosen from the beginning. They were both promising and good partners. Jiwoong was my favorite because I knew his bio and back story. Jiwoong was the person to go to. He is a good listener and his visuals are undeniable. I was a bit worried when he dropped in ranking. Yujin was so lovable and they showcased him a lot. Park Gun Wook, I could see his potential and power. I could see him fighting for a spot each week. He is an all-rounder. Seok Matthew, I was surprised on his top ranking at first but now that I’ve gone back to watch him. He has such a great personality. I think being close to Han Bin and also Jiwoong helped him. Matthew had a lot of good singing parts and was showcased a lot by producers. Kim Tae Rae was not a strong candidate out of the top contestants. He was showcased a little but then he made a wise choice in “Man in Love” That song put him in the spotlight. Out of all of the members, his voice is the most distinctive. The viewers and myself fell in love with his voice and dimples. Gyuvin and Ricky had some really good edits. I think they were helped by the producers and fan base. Gyuvin is underestimated. I saw his performances again and he is a strong dancer and I don’t think he has had a strong vocal part but he is so good looking. He got a huge advantage when he received the bonus points and Love Killa” received the award for the week. For me, Ricky’s personality puts me off. But I’m warming up to him since the debut.
Hui was my favorite and the most talented singer. His voice is The Best out of all of the 93 contestants. He ranked high because of his fan base but then I think his fans brought him down too. It was clear midway in the season that people did not want him to break from Pentagon. I think Hui didn’t fit the vision that the producers had for this new group. I became of fan of Hui and Pentagon because he deserves to be supported.
Now for the ones on the edge of debuting:
Keita, I think he is definitely talented and would have been a good addition due to his rapping and dance skills. But I think he is not memorable enough when up against the others. I loved him in “Zoom”
Jay, so close. He is likeable and talented. I can’t say anything else. He deserves to debut. His voice is the best along with Hui. Jay should have received more votes but he was always getting pushed to the background, maybe because he’s too American?
Park Han Bin, he was always one of my picks. He was always smiling. I loved him in “Law”. I watched that performance again. It was such an amazing performance and Han Bin was a strong leader.

Yoon Jongwoo, his performance in Back Door is unforgettable.

But we do admit, being in Yixing's agency has made it possible to get the attention of EXO-ls and Xbacks, who have been voting for him together with his solo fanbase. Everyone is rallying for him to debut given that he has the entire package - visuals, talent, and personality. Honestly, his backstory is also something that has to be heard.
It's a shame because I have 4 g trainees that I think deserved to debut but out of them, I think Matthew is the safest one he got so much screen time and is a korean
