  • This video was recorded for the audience that may be new to Y62 Patrols and want some advice or confidence before going off road for the 1st time. We are in the beautiful Grampians and have found a track that would usually be easy, but with so much rain overnight became extremely slippery.
This video shows examples of what button to press in your Y62 Patrol and when. Hopefully it helps you next time when you expect to lose traction on the tracks.

This was a great Vid, Im looking at getting into a Y62 in the next 12 months. Ive had a 4Runner, Triton, GQ and currently in a GU....... But have absolutely NO idea how all the new dials and modes work in the Y62! So this was great to have a bit of a looksee into the new stuff for the next Rig. Thanks Dave.

Great Vid as usual. Any new drivers watching this, I would also suggest if you are the second vehicle, follow a little closer than this guy did so you can actually see where the first vehicle went. then you can see what line works and what doesn't. At the first water obstacle, Dave said to "follow Sharons line", but its hard to do if you weren't in a position to see it. happy wheeling.
    P.S. WELL DONE SHARON!

I remember coming down Telephone Track in Mt Cole with all of the lifted Y62’s. Lots of rear wheel lifts (and a very nervous Charlie). Mine with the standard coils had a lot more droop and barely lifted. Hence I’m staying with a heavy duty standard height coil and airbags and a k-frame spacer to balance out the heavier front coils
