I was thinking the same thing lol. I wish I had the skills to figure it out. If I did, I’d be sharing it with everyone. I’m hoping someone figures it out soon.
I mean, it's a nifty idea, but without the classic Activision and Imagic carts for the 2600 (plus all the missing Atari ones), I'll pass until I see a version that can run my own roms.

So, Atari did have a handheld, and it was released in 1989. The Atari Lynx. Then, in 1991, they came out with the Atari Lynx II.
I never had a chance to try one though.
The Lynx was great imo. What I meant when I said that was referring to the 2600 itself. I definitely worded that wrong 😂😂😂

I couldn’t believe it doesn’t have it. The bonus games are actually better than the Atari collection library. It’s not a bad handheld, just a weak Atari selection.

Space invaders wasn’t an Atari title and they are selling a separate handheld just for Space Invaders.
