When talking about either the RG35XX or the Miyoo Mini Plus, there is a high chance that one or the other will come up in conversation when comparing the two. This is a long comparison between the two, but that's because we need to talk about so many different things that affect the user experience while gaming on these handhelds.

1. you can adjust the colors and various aspects of the screen settings on the mini+ and I think it actually looks better when tuned than the 35xx
2. Software (especially Onion OS) is hands down better and more supported and has more awesome features on the mini+
3.mini+ has wifi and retro achievements and ota updates
4. mini+ d-pad is way better feeling in games that need precision
AND when I check on Amazon, they are both the same price, the RG35XX is not cheaper. @@PCGGC
Hey I just ordered one the other day. Should get it today. From what I've seen it has almost no sports games. Just wondering if you know if it does come with some or if I can put them on it. I have no clue how to do computer things but hoping I can figure it out
@joshbob-sx7kd it comes with a few, but you can always add more. A quick Google search will point you in the right direction. Adding games is a fairly easy process.
@baldlyrudy I know to most people it seems easy but to me it's like going through a maze blindfolded. Do you know if madden or nba games can be played on it
Thanks for this, great break down.
I just managed to snag a Miyoo mini+. I think the dpad feeling and wifi capabilities was the overall reason I picked it. Amazing little gadget!
You're welcome! Couldn't agree more. Those features pull me towards the Miyoo Mini Plus, easily.
Being able to play Turtles in time with my friend that's on the other side of the world is just kinda insane.
Now, RG35XX PLUS has also wifi (2.4/5G WIFI 802.11a/b/g/n/ac,Bluetooth 4.2)...
I own a 35XX and I just want to share that the screen is really fragile. You don't want to put it in your sling bag without any case or protection.
Whoa. Do you mean that the screen is easily scratched?
@@baldlyrudy much worst, a dead screen
Ouch. 😬
If only Anbernic sold the device with some kind of protective case for such situations. Damn you, Anbernic!
I had my miyoo mini inside a case inside a bag and the screen busted. I think the Miyoo screen is also fragile.
This was an excellent and thorough comparison, especially regarding to the screens, made my decision easy. Subscribed.
Thanks! Glad I was able to help.
Awesome to learn about your background in color calibration. Not a lot of reviewers really have that experience, skill.
Thank you! Yeah, I've stared at screens for many years. 🫠
Thanks for all your coverage of these. I just canceled my preorder of the Capcom Super Pocket and got a Miyoo mini plus.
I'm glad I could help. Thanks for the comment. 🙌
I already bought Miyoo Mini Plus for my little brother, still waiting for it to be delivered and was a bit stressed about getting the wrong thing after doing some additional research, especially about the screen, but after watching the video I think he'll be fine. Big thanks
Thanks for the comment! Yeah, I bought the one for my son and I got everything set up on the Miyoo Mini Plus for him. He immediately understood his way around it. It's a pretty nifty device and playing Pokemon with him is fun.
you have a new comparison video to get on sir... can't wait to see it
That's true! Can't wait to get my hands on the RG35XX Plus.
Dude this is just the video I was looking for!
Haha! Thought of you as I was publishing.
@@baldlyrudy let’s go! 🔥….I am for sure ordering the Miyoo Mini Plus on Amazon for my birthday in a month! Can’t wait!
I owned the 35xx for a few months and the battery life with the stock OS is abysmal. It keeps running even while it's in sleep mode. Just ordered the Miyoo and I'm looking forward to the comparison
This is an underrated channel. Can't wait to see you at the 100k mark!
Thank you so much. That sincerely means a lot. Hopefully I'll get there one day. I'll see you there. 🙌
As you have more than one rg35xx, is the screen color/quality consistent between the units?
Amazing in-depth, objective and unbiased. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment! Much appreciated! 🙌
Hey Rudy, I really wanted to thank you for this video. I was really having doubts about my Miyoo Mini Plus. But after watching your video it helped me to understand it more. I’m grateful for the way you broke everything down and gave your opinion on each handheld.
Hey! You're very welcome! It means a lot. 🙌
The fact that you can play multiplayer with other miyoo mini+ , the better battery life and the better d pad for input out weigh the screen critique(I am one of those people who cant tell the difference between these 2)
I wanted a cheap mobile handheld and was planning buying other ones in the future so the hdmi out wasn't a big issue.
I hoped I was able to help you come to that decision. There are so many pros and cons to both of these, and they're not that expensive for what you get.
Awsome Video Mate I'm going to get the Miyoo mini plus thanks for helping us out. Happy Holidays.
Thanks! Hope you enjoy it! 🍻
I have bigger handhelds but the portability of the miyoo mini plus is just amazing, screen and depad is wonderful, onion os is easy to install, and its just beautiful, i also like the battery cover because if your battery is broken its so easy to replace, i also found a 4000mah battery that fits in the miyoo mini plus and a better speaker, the xx just looks so cheap, I only bought this primary for playing tactics games and rpg and it does its job. cute little device you can bring anywhere and you don't have to worry where you gonna put it if your finish playing, just shoot it in your pocket. ❤❤❤❤
Whoa! I've got to check out the better battery and speaker. That seems like a solid win.
@@baldlyrudy the battery name and size is 124065, should ezly fit, the original battery is somehow a little small, the better speaker is sony xperia Z5, no more crackles
@knivez.official dude! Thank you so much. I appreciate it.
You can buy a 3d printed grip for the miyoo to help your hands.
@@baldlyrudythe miyoo mini plus has 7-9hr battery life. The anbernic has 4-6hr battery life. Huge difference. And the miyoo if you don't like the speaker you can buy a replacement which is used in the Sony mobile phone.
I bought the AMBERNIC expansion pack. With a case. I really like the fact it has HDMI. I’m looking forward to playing on a bigger screen
That's definitely something that I personally don't want or care for, but I can definitely see how others would appreciate it.
Dont see the point of hdmi if you cant plug a controller
Just get a pi or something for the tv. The hdmi out is suspect.
@@dxrbkn5145 you can use usb Controller like Xbox 360 by adapter. So you can turn the devise into a portaple ps1....
I ended up buying both, tested them myself and let me tell you, it's not even a competiton. The Miyoo Mini Plus is way superior.
can it play nintendo ds?
can it play psp the 35xx can
@@CHICKENmcNUGGIESMydude It can play some DS games, yes. I really don't see a usecase for PSP on this sized screen tho. Besides it's more about available firmware rather than raw power. OnionOS is way beyond anything available on the RG35XX. Yes that includes Garlic, wich is a poor imitation lacking many features and hasn't seen an update since release.. then there's a bigger battery, better screen filtering, better controls (dpad, shoulders). The MMP is just the better package overall, a lot better.
@@CHICKENmcNUGGIESMydude let’s be honest, who’s playing PSP on these? These things are Gameboy machines. Would be a better idea to buy a PSP and home brew it to run whatever you want if you really want PSP that bad.
People are reselling these Anbernics on TikTok for $150 and people are buying them💀
I'm all about the 35xx because of HDMI and playing only 2D games it works fine for me. I like the extra chin too which makes it very comfortable to hold.
I own both devices. The onion OS team + wifi capabilities on the miyoo mini make it leaps and bounds better. HDMI on the 35XX is cool but I’ve tried it once. Miyoo with onion has multiplayer, trading, OTA updates, retro-achievements and you can add roms literally from your phone with FTP. Onion team even got DS games now working on the Miyoo. Really the only thing the 35XX has is a better build quality imho.
What is FTP? Sry I'm dumb
File Transfer Protocol. There are usually apps for sending files to and from devices over the Internet and/or network.
@@baldlyrudy ty friend
@@redfoot2fuck the police
does the miyoo mini+ has hdmi output also?
I have both and must say the Miyoo Mini Plus takes the edge as it's IPS screen looks better and with Onion OS it really shines but both are great!
Onion OS has been a game changer for the experience on the Miyoo Mini Plus.
@@baldlyrudy Absolutely. By the way, I did a screen/sound test of both devices today and must admit - the RG35XX does have a brighter screen but if you look closely the colour science just looks a little off and borderline washed whereas the Mini Plus' screen has richer colours and looks overall better in my opinion...the sound on both are on par with each other and honestly unless you're playing outside in a very noise place without earphones - the Mini's sound is loud enough...but the Onion OS bulks up the positives even more...and the Wifi and ability to play online multiplayer takes it to a new level!
Miyoo Mini Plus all day
Lovely video, thank you
Thanks for the comment. Much appreciated. 🙌
Great video man. I watched it all. Bought myself a Retroid rp3+ and kinda want a mini version. Think I’ll go with the motion! Thx!
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it. 🍻
Thanks for the ridiculously thorough review.
You're welcome.
Thanks for your detailed review. It helped me make my decision. I would say the biggest reason that I decided to go with the Miyoo Mini Plus was due to the fact that it has Wi-Fi and Onion OS seems more refined than Garlic OS. Also, I was able to order it for $37 with taxes and shipping included from a tiktok shop. I can't even be mad if I don't like it for that price.
You're more than welcome. Oh yeah! At that price point, it's definitely a win.
Yeah I mean at that price you could probably get both for under $100 and give the one you don’t like as much to someone else, that is a full out steal.
I have both and I keep switching them up! I like them a lot!
They're both fantastic in their own right.
Great review. I also have both of them in the original dmg color. The miyoo feels more comfortable in the hand and also is smaller. But I still prefer my psp go or psvita to play these retro games. Psvita bigger screen, Psp Go smaller and also can play psp and ps1 titles
I haven't modded the PS Vita yet. How does it perform with emulating games that aren't PSP/Vita games?
@@baldlyrudy modding the vita is is very easy, you can watch video of Blaine Locklair for the discription. I have only tried psp gba snes ps1 on it and this goes flawlessly. I also have a handgrip with l2 and r2 buttons which makes it fit better in my hand. You look a bit like Mounir Toub. A Dutch cook 😂
@Najj85 I'll take it. 🤣
Thanks for the video! Really helped me make a choice between the two consoles. I’m going with the MMP, really excited to dive into some pokemon nostalgia heh
Let's go! My son and I love it.
I'm leaning towards the Miyoo Mini+. The fact it has wifi means updating the system will be less of a hassle. Also a better d-pad for platformers. The only drawback I feel like is the ergonomics where the RG35xx comes ontop being slightly larger. I don't imagine myself playing for more than a hour or two at a given time though so I could get used to the size of Miyoo Mini.
As far as annoyances, the Miyoo Mini has that annoying green light LED at the top but the RG35xx has the rattling shoulder buttons. Pick your poison they both would equally annoy me.
I have never heard my XX rattle once. Probably because I don't shake it while playing games. It's a non issue.
You will love the Miyoo mini plus more for sure.
Just pit a sticker on the light
Surprisingly great in depth video. Subscribed!
Thanks! I appreciate that.
you deserve more subscribers
Thanks dude! That means alot. 🙌
Great video! Can you do a comparison between the Powkiddy rbg20s and Miyoo mini plus? Im trying to find a retro handheld and those are my two options
Hey there! Thanks! I don't have a Powkiddy RBG20S, but I definitely plan on checking it out in the future.
Thanks for the review. I just bought the Miyoo based on this video
Glad I could help. Happy gaming.
Good video, could see a collab between you, Tech Dweeb, Joey's, and Retro game corp. Perhaps a discussion similar to this one about entry level retro handhelds.
Wow. That's a huge compliment. Thank you. 🤯
We'll see. I always feel like those guys are all years ahead of me in terms of everything. 😅

"Go ahead and..."
Take your shot.
Thanks for the video! I just canceled my order for the RG and instead ordered the Miyoo mini plus!
You're welcome! Glad I could help.
I am pretty sure you can customize the screen colors, so if you know what you're doing, you can have the rg35xx color or more brighter than the stock colors.
Yup. You definitely can adjust things. Like I mentioned in the video, screens will have to compensate in one area to push another. Even getting two exact iPhones will have slightly different variations in color. They're barely noticeable, but it's there.
I’m just starting my research! I want one for my bf for Christmas. I don’t know anything about this sorta stuff. Thanks for the great review!
You're welcome! I'm sure that your bf will appreciate you looking into this stuff for him. Merry Christmas!
I see lots of people saying the Miyoo is superior. I find this funny how this works. I’ve never used a Miyoo personally but I can see why it’s the gold standard. I personally like my 35plus quite a bit. I even tend to play it more than my RP2S which is insane cause the 2S is objectively a better device. Personally I’m not really enticed to buy the miyoo. Go with which ever one you like. They’re all quite great in it’s own regard. There’s a certain x factor each of these devices have and they all hit a bit differently to each person.
Great video and ordered the Miyoo Mini Plus right off the bat
Thanks! I hope you enjoy it!
I’ve been trying to get an impression on build quality for these 2 (since 11.11 might have some discounts) and it’s so inconsistent between channels. I winder if quality control is just crappy on both and it’s a lottery.
The ultímate power console its the Miyoo mini plus, with Koriki Brothers of Metal!
Miyoo mini is very easy to mod compared to rg35xx and with the wifi you update the firmware easy. The RG95xx but with the system they emulate it barely matters unless you use a different OS and at best you can run some games above ps1 which is not really worth in IMHO.
I already bought the Miyoo Mini + for my kid (9 yo), and I couldn't be happier with my choice! 😂 Yes, I'm already using it more than he is (he's more into modern games). Oh well... His loss 😅
Haha! Yeah, I get that. Thankfully my son is receptive to playing retro games. 😅
great review! i have a regular miyoo mini v2 cause i really wanted that smaller device but the honeymoon phase is over and the novelty is starting to wear off. i installed the onion 4.2 beta and it has some glitches for me. i tried installing newer updates (rc) but it bricked my device and i had to reinstall the beta version. not sure if it was user error because im pretty new to emulation and not the most savvy or if the 4.2-rc just isnt compatible with the mini v2 but it left a sour taste in my mouth.
was debating on getting a newer device, especially since the plus has wifi capability but i think at this point im just going to wait for a solid gba sp clamshell device to come along. the powkiddy v90 is an awesome little value and once folded up is really close in size to the regular miyoo mini but just plain leaves some more power to be desired
Thanks for the comment!
Wow. Sorry to hear about the brick and issues. I actually just got a Miyoo Mini V2 in the mail late last week. Excited to mess with it.
@@baldlyrudy i went crazy and got a speaker, and triggeer button upgrades as well as a bunch of fun accessories. i kind of expect to sell everything in a bundle to upgrade to a more capable device later down the line. designs for the miyoo flip have been floating around for a while now so im hoping i may be able to pick one of those up whenever it drops. hopefully miyoo can keep up with the demand because i know tons of people will be wanting it.
if you make a video on updating the mini v2 and seeing what you can do with it i would love to watch!
liked and subscribed!
@KawikaLee408 thanks for the sub and like! Funnily enough, I also ordered a Sony Z5 speaker to install. But it was for my Miyoo Mini Plus. 😅
I'll post my thoughts when the time comes.
Honestly, if you want the least wonkiness possible on a handheld, get an android handheld. The internal drive and fleshed out OS make a huge difference.
For the money, you're honestly probably better off with a retroid pocket 3+.
This comes from someone who's been buying these things since the pocket go 1/bitboy era.
@@armyofninjas9055 thanks for the advice!
I have both. Honestly couldn't pick a favourite, they're nigh identical. Just pick whichever is in stock/cheaper/faster delivery
The biggest differences are the HDMI, WiFi, and processor.
I got the RG35XX in January. My favorite feature? _It was available._
I'd say that's a big feature.
Sehr gute Arbeit hier in dem Video, wirklich ein klasse Vergleich!
Literally on the cusp of purchasing a RG35XX then i watch this video 😅 god damn it! Brilliant btw 👏
Thank you! I appreciate it. Sorry for making the decision tougher. 😅
After ordering the MM+, I was a little disappointed when I learned that the screen of Miyoo mini+ was worse than the rg35xx, but after this video, I felt a little relieved. Thx for content also +1 subscribe. 😊
Eyyyy! Thanks! Much appreciated. 🙌
I'm amazed that no one has talked about the fact that the RG35XX can play N64 and DS at decent speeds. To me, that overwhelms the very little improvement that the Miyoo mini + offers.
The Miyoo Mini Plus can run N64 games as well, but the processing power in the RG35XX is superior. The RG35XX provides a smoother experience.
@@baldlyrudy Really?! The Miyoo doesn't have a gpu, so that seems very unlikely to me.
@willtheconq4572 you're right! My bad. I was thinking of the Super Mario 64 port on the Miyoo Mini V4 that I tried recently.
It’s a give and take between both. I bought the 35XX on a whim. I’m not a huge gamer but it’ll be something that I can carry around. When you said that anew one with WiFi is coming out I felt falling into a wormhole yet again. You think you got something new and bang! lol
Have been tempted to get a Miyoo Mini Plus, despite having less power, since it seems to give the best overall experience and feel. OTOH, I have a raspberry pi just sitting here, and a full screen and controller are a lot more comfortable... so I've been setting that up instead.
as of now, in my country RG35XX is half of MM+. so it is absolute steal, to pick RG35XX.
it around 35$ if converted to USD.
My wife got me the miyoo mini, no idea if it's a plus or not, but it's been fun. I had my tech buddy put a rom hack on it and it works flawlessly. My only complaint is the button feel and reaction. I love retro games and when the buttons are off, the game play suffers. Other than that, I love the thing. 👍 Nice review BTW 👌
Good review Rg35xx vs miyoo mini plus . Mini HDMI rg35xx Victory 😎
Thanks! 🙌
I understand Tiny. However is there a larger or even extra large with a 4x3 ratio. Looking for a bigger screen
I just got the RG405V and it's fantastic. It's definitely bigger and might suit your needs. It also has a more powerful chipset and runs Android.
Could you make a vid on how to add games on Anbernic RG35xx
Hey. I'm losing my mind. I have a Retroid Pocket 3+. I want a vertical form handheld. I play N64 sometimes, but not essential. What do I buy? RG35XX, Miyoo Mini + or R36s.
PLEASE HELP
Wow this is the first review I heard someone say the miiyoo felt sturdier. Like I've watched tons of videos and read reviews and everyone said the rg35xx feels way better and it doesn't feel like cheap plastic like the mini plus, the main grip tho has been the d pad, that's pretty universal opinion. I have the rg35xx on the way now but I almost wish I'd had gotten the plus....btw I got mine from tik tok using a coupon so it cost me 32 dollars altogether with shipping and everything. So I'm excited about to get it.
I like the 35xx that I got, put garlic and a ton of games on it. Everything up to ps ran great. But honestly the biggest issue I had was that my hands were way too big for it. I ordered a retroid pocket a few months later and gave the 35xx to my son.
I'm considering picking up the RP4 Pro. Which one do you have?
I ended up going with the flip. The clamshell is perfect so I don't have worry about scratching the screen
Iv been seeing it and have been wanting it, this helps but I would like to know which of these 2 have a sailor moon game I saw someone have it and iv been wanting to play it for the longest time
I have owned the original miyoo mini since launch but jumped on the 35xx when it was on offer.
I played it for one time and now it won’t charge!
There is literally no recognition on the charging light. It is definitely not the cable as the same cable will charge the miyoo.
I am now back to playing the miyoo and wondered why I bothered with the anbernic device!
I just bought the Miyoo Mini V2. I'm excited to see what all the hype is about.
Did you try changing the warmth and saturation of the screen in the Miyoo's settings? Don't remember if the stock firmware has that but OnionOS has many screen settings and if I recall correctly (I stopped playing the Miyoo for a while) I think I remember that I changed the Kelvin to be warmer but could be misremembering
I did and it does work, but it's similar to the Steam Deck LCD screen.
Hmm is the screen similar to the Miyoo mini? I have the Miyoo mini and I guess I forgot how bad it looked. I justified it for myself by saying that the screen is still way better for Gameboy than actual Gameboys. I personally only played Gameboy on it currently because the screen is so small and the games are designed for small screens. Wish we could have a Miyoo mini plus OLED
Can the miyoo trade Pokemon between red and blue and yellow or does it have to run both copies of the same exact game to trade between?
I see the miyoo mini plus has the easy Pokémon trader, does that same function work for battles?
I lost count of how many times a person could “go ahead and do” something or “go ahead and not do” something. Something to watch for when making future content. Great breakdown overall.
Thank god I got the transparent blue Miyoo Mini!!
Lucky.
Great video
Thanks!
hello Baldly Rudy I have a question I'm trying to find a console for retro to play on TV what retro gaming console you can suggest to me? thanks
What's your budget?
I'd always push people to getting something like a Steam Deck with EmuDeck. But that's something that connects to the TV and readily available. It's just more versatile for me.
@@baldlyrudy thanks
Why dose it look like the screen flickers on video for the mini also what about durability which one has a more durable screen
Some video shots were recorded at 120fps and slowed down to make the footage smoother.
Also, I've heard horror stories for both handhelds. They're fragile, but not that fragile.
@@baldlyrudy thank you so much for there reply that 120fos thing makes sense I wonder why the other one didn’t do that
I have no idea. The naked eye won't spot it though.
Excellent video my brotha 👑
It's always so hard to decide between the two.
From what I've gathered for streamers of retro games the Rg35xx is the must have because of the hdmi out, so sad that the miyoo doesn't have that particular feature as well
Thanks! Yeah, I personally don't stream emulated games from the handheld, but I can see the appeal. I'd just emulate them on PC, if anything.
I've got the Steam Deck and idk if getting one is worth it. How do you get the games? Do you have to own them?
I've got a Steam Deck as well. Having the Steam Deck can be a great option as your go to for A LOT of things. These are cheap and can play almost anything from Atari all the way to PS1. The biggest pros are size, portability, price to performance, and battery life. They're ROMs, so it's similar to installing EmuDeck on the Steam Deck when it comes to game ownership.
@@baldlyrudy a tactical answer indeed 👏
@@baldlyrudy uh... that's the problem for me as well, this answer is great, but I'm still trying to get the games on the EmuDeck. Where I live piracy is legal, do I actually need to own the games that I'm playing or can I just pirate them? I googled that lots of times and I still couldn't find anything. Tysm for the helpful reply tho, it's much appreciated!
@@Findalflin one of the best I've gotten ^^
@@TheSpiritedFendron The act of Piracy is in itself the act of taking a property you haven’t paid for and playing it anyways. If you’re not going to get smacked around by the local authorities then you can download Emudeck, raise the black flag (wink wink), and then play your games on the steam deck through emudeck. Does that answer the question?
Are you going to a review of the data frog sf2000? I have it and I love it, I Would like to see your take on the console
Funnily enough, it's literally sitting on my desk right now. Lol.
The anbernic screen is nice have the clear purple. Enjoy it a lot for game boy color games
The screen is fantastic. And the colors are so much nicer, IMO.
Just got the RG35xx, and I'm a bit concerned a hard selling point for a lot of chatters is the WiFi capabilities of the mini... why do you need wifi? Beyond that, I def don't want a foreign manufactured emulator with wifi connecting to my home network! Just my 2cents. Safe Sailing.
Hence the sponsor. 😉
Wifi allows for multiplayer on compatible games, cover scraping without a computer, makes system updates easy, etc etc. theres nothing bad with a foreign manufacturer connecting to your wifi. Apple products are made in another country but no one has an issue with them
i have the rg35xx and it's great.
What would you recommend for a novice looking for a handheld with the most retro games that can be bought ready to play?
Out of the two, I would go with the Miyoo Mini. The OS is better. They both play the same games. The RG35XX is slightly more poetry, but only by a bit. You probably won't notice it unless you're going for PS One games.
@Vod_Villainous LMAO. Alright. That made me chuckle. Gotta love autocorrect. 🤣
New one (rg35xx) coming out with hdmi, bt, wifi! Bigger battery and better sloped shoulder buttons!
Cannot freaking wait to get my hands on it!
This is becoming one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make.
I'd say go with the Miyoo Mini Plus, but it all depends on what you want out of it. I love being able to have my Retro Acheivements sync up OTA.
and this is why I got both lol
The miyoo has wifi. The anbernic has HDMI. I think the miyoo is far better (I own it) the battery life is far better than the anbernic.
This is becoming the hardest decision I’ve made in so long. I want to but one for me and the kids and I want to make the right call
Honestly, you will be happy with either. But I get you haha. @@MasteredMirages
Ordered a Miyoo Mini Plus and it just looks like the coolest thing ever and the main reason for me was that it can play DS games now
So freaking cool!!!! Congrats on the purchase!
@@baldlyrudy I hope your son has as much fun as me and my peers when we played these games
@itsfarhan0.024 he's been enjoying it, that's for sure. And experiencing games from my childhood too. 🙌
Do both of these come with the games already installed in the cards or do i have to download them
Yup. They come with games, but you can also download and add more easily.
im thinking about getting a miyoo and I was wondering if anybody tried resident evil or Dino Crisis on this device. How was the performance?
Does the Miyoo automatically come preloaded with games no matter where you purchase?
For the most part yes. You just need to make sure that it comes with a card.
so which one do you prefer ? Miyoo Mini Plus ?
The Miyoo Mini Plus, for sure. But the RG35XX Plus that just came out adds a lot of the features that pushed me over to the MM+. There just isn't a custom OS out there for the RG35XX Plus as good as Onion OS on the MM+, IMO.
You said “go ahead and” about 300 times in this 30 minute video and it drove me absolutely insane.
Go ahead. There's 301. 🤣
I thought the build quality of the Miyoo Mini + was a tad under the RG35XX. It feels too fragile and the screen unless they've changed it can pop out of the casing causing bad screen bleed. I'd take the RG35XX for comfort and the screen blows the Mini's out of the water, no contest.
Screen wise, you'll be surprised that the Mini plus actually has superior clarity when messing with the settings in retroarch, RG35XX is washed in comparison when you start applying the settings as mention in retroarch, afterall, the mini plus does boast a superior IPS screen
The build quality of the case holding the screen in is better on 35xx but the screen itself is worse.
Would I be able to add nintendo ds games to this device?
Great video! Might dive I to the world of emulation handhelds soon
Thank you! Just be careful....it's a slippery slope once you start getting into it. If you're a techie, you're going to love it all.
On the miyoo mini plus be careful with the menu button. It stuck and gave me a lot of problems.
Amazing video I thought this a 1m+ channel
Thank you! I appreciate that. 🙌
can you control turbo mode on miyoo?
Yes.
Hi are those handhelds for classic games
Cus i love mario
Hi! Yup. They're for games that go from Atari, MAME, all the way to PS1 games.
Could you connect Bluetooth headset ? Or is that going to be possible for the next model?
No, so hopefully with the next iterations.
If the rg5xx had wifi, instead of hdmi out, it would be perfect, good review thou
The RG35XX Plus will add Wi-Fi!
@MegaFinalRound yeah just recently, now going to have to upgrade and it plays psp and dreamcast 😁
Am I able to just copy everything to a new Fat32 formatted SDcard and just plug it back in and play on a much better sdcard?
Pretty much. I copied the entire card to a new one and it worked fine.
12:31 I do too gang 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bought the mini plus 2 days ago, SD card slot spring wont hold..
I'm assuming Amazon? If so, contact the seller and get it replaced.
I got miyoo mini. Going to return it and get rgb 35xx plus. Its too small hold.
I got the RG35XX plus and it has wife and game cube and garlic v2
