This summer I was camping deep in the Idaho forest...I had both my Labradors on dog run cables. We were camped off a logging road near a river. I was lounging in my chair near my dogs, who bark at everything!!.
Suddenly their back hairs went up and they whined looking into the dark forest across the river. I could not see what they were looking at!! Suddenly a large rock came barreling towards me from across the river and landed 3 feet from me and the dogs. They still didn't bark but only whined. I got them in the camper and heard whatever threw that rock go crashing through the forest. I range found the area the rock came from across the river and it was nearly 60 yards away. This rock had to be over 50lbs!!

That was fun! Thank you! I have a story! My twin daughters and I went to bed and soon they came running into my bedroom screaming that they were laying in bed and were just noticed out their window a little orb of light and it compelled them to watch it. Quickly it was flying right toward them and came right in the window, went right through one of them and as they jumped up to come to my room it left as fast as it came! We know it was not a dual nightmare so we never knew what it was!
The Universe is always giving us hints. The more attention we are wiling to give them.. the more hints we are given. If one ever feels threatened.. by the unknown.. ( which is natural), Simply ASK for protection.. it will be given.

I heard that noise!!!
It was several years ago and there were stories going around about it. Might have even been in a national news story. But it was my understanding that people were hearing the same loud metallic sound all over the country. I am in an urban area but I am positive I heard that sound. It was late at night while taking my dog out and my best description of the sound is like the metal hitting metal in a car wreck but this was LOUD and I was in my back yard. Another description is like A LOUD train suddenly breaking! (metal on metal) Is that close to what you heard?
Yes!! Someone else mentioned the train stopping and I think that's very close to what I heard... mind you, I was deep in the wilderness: no trains... interesting, thank you for sharing!

Enjoy hearing stories about ghosts and big foot. You did it well, especially sitting in the dark by a roaring campfire. Sometimes I think it’s people that dress up in these furry costumes and go to these camps and forest areas people frequent just to prank you 😂 but you trying to follow the thing in the woods was the scariest part. I had no idea that bears would be attracted to lip balm.🥰

I remember when you told a story where some men came up to your RV in the middle of the night and was knocking on your door. I can't remember if you told the story or if you recorded it, but it made me scared. LOL
Yes, I do believe in the unknown, back in the 80s me & a boyfriend went to the bluf at Belmont State Park, we was parked to the side standing outside the truck, there was some old cars across the road, turned around & saw something covered in hair, no cloths, it was behind one of the cars just watching us. Needless to say we took off but my bf had to turn around to see what it was & it was gone. But I know you visited LBL at Kentucky lake, read up on the dogman massacre in 1982, ppl swear there's a dogman & Bigfoot up there

I can’t believe TH-cam didn’t alert me about this until now. Bigfoot was telling you that your Burt’s Bees didn’t smell like the food that he thought it was. Sounds like a juvenile Sasquatch - curious about smells and items. I have seen Sasquatch aka Grassman - campfire attracts them and human females are a curious thing for them. My experience has been mostly with Grassman in Southern Ohio. Bigfoot I have caught a glimpse of while in Oregon/Northern California. Native Americans have a lot of stories about a hairy man beast. You can talk to native Alaskans or any of the tribes from Montana to Oklahoma - they also have a lot of legends and oral history about it.

I thought for sure, you would bring up the time you parked next to a boulder with a cougar behind it. It took you a little while to check out whether it was dead or alive (dead), and to learn that’s where rangers dumped road kill. Still, that would have scared the bejesus out of me!

Reading so many of your stories and Im saying "What The Fugg" and "Holy Gott" A LOT. I know mine was just a bear, though thought it was a friend pranking me. Wouldve loved to see that bears face when I started scolding it and calling them Justin! Lol.
Never been bothered by a Bigfoot, though friends have called me various names of this creature. (I have a lot of big and wild hair) So maybe all the Squach see me and think...oh thats cousin IT over there, dont want to bother her. Feeling fortunate!

my what the did I just see moment that makes me still scratch my head: I own 15.2 acres here in southern nh very over grown so we hardly ever walked out back unless it was winter and not too much snow on teh ground. I adopted a mini aussie off craigslist and this dog hated everyone so walking him on the road was difficult for him , me and the neighbors SO I paid a guy to clear a path for me on my own property so I could walk my dog way out back away from everyone giving me a break him a break and my neighbors . SO as long as it has been not too wet I can pretty much walk way back , Now my dog has a high prey drive so yeah he will chase anything foxes, bobcats, squirrels, skunks even people anything . The only time he showed fear and hid behind me was when I bumped into a black bear one late night. Just so you understand my little mini aussie is pretty fearless has a high prey drive ands lets everything and anyone know he does not like them with lunging and barking and nipping except for bears. Well one fairly warm fall day I decide to take him out back on his path The Mookie path we call it for a walk , since we had a dry summer the trail was not muddy and it is cooler under the trees . Now I give him the whole leash 12 feet but I am still hyper vigilant because he pull and go after something . It is warm day and it is very quiet and even though it is sunny out back in teh woods it is always darker. I am walking and I think I am going to sit on this rock that I like to rest on and there I see a man in a fur coat a large man sitting on my rock, And I think geesh why is a hunter on my property I only have this one place to walk my dog . I thought the fur coat was weird because itw as so warm out but hey I do not know all the hunting gear as I do not hunt. I think I should turn around but then I think perhaps I can get his attention and get a read on him and see if he friendly then I can tell him stumbled upon private property , SO I am walking on the path and I can see teh rock and the man for a good distance perhaps 30 feet off the path and I walking the path and every once in a while I pass tree and he is out of sight for a very short time like microseconds and he is not moving just facing an area that over looks like this huge crater like hole in the earth . I am clearing my throat trying to make noise to see if I an get him to turn around so I can get that read on him. He never turns around and just when I about 10 feet away from that rock I pass a small tree and when teh rock comes into focus again the man is gone and now there is a fox draped over that rock like it is hugging that rock and looking at me . And I am thinking where did the man go and what are the chances a fox would come onto teh place the man was just sitting like in microseconds. Now I am spellbound trying to figure out what is going on and staring at the is fox I know better not to stare at a predator but I was just so flummoxed trying to wrap my brain around teh moment . Now I realize that my dog has not been pulling on the leash in fact he has been walking right by my side and behind my legs like he is hiding ( he only did this once before with a bear ) . At some point the fox got up from his laying down position looked at me and then ran off into the crater in teh direction the large man had been looking . Perplexed i watched the fox disappear into that crater and then up the other side. I went to the edge of that crater still expecting to see that large man in the fur coat like there was no way he could get out of eye shot of where I was if he was down in that crater there was no cover . Now one thing a about that "fox" it has the head of a fox a tail of a fox and the body of a fox but it freakishly long legs like that of a coyote . I think about that experience a lot and I doubt that I could ever mistake a " fox" for a large man in a fur coat no matter what angle I observed it from .
Could there have been a plane crash. The one at the end seemed as a metal sound?
You’re pretty brave going in the Forrest looking for Bigfoot or whatever you saw…. I would be scared to death and packed up everything and got the hell outa there 😮😮😮

Are there any trains in area? On overcast days, sound can echo oddly.
Another possibility is that California has Air Force bases with Skunk Works aircraft. They often test their equipment at night. Just a thought. The U2 flew out of Palmdale.

This was fun! I gotta say, you're a hell of a lot braver than me. Anything unusual or "going bump in the night", and theres no way Im going back to sleep or investigating. Lol
We don't really know what all might be in the wilderness. Now I've never seen anything that wasn't recognizable, but I haven't hiked or camped very much in my life. I think the guys in the truck parking behind you in the middle of the night when you were boondocking in the woods is scarier than any wild thing out there. The last thing could have been a small earthquake that also scared something in the woods besides you. I mean how many times have you heard a wild creature scream in fright? Just my hypothesis.

On your sighting in Alaska you should contact the Subarctic Alaska Sasquatch. He wants info on location of as many events small sightings to put on his map. Only Alaska sightings. Time of year it was location etc. Thanks for the great stories ❤

If it shook you and it sounded like metal on metal, maybe it was a small earth quake and the sound was two shelves scraping against each other. This would be my first guess by your description.

Hi Carolyn, Yes, I had something very similar to your first story happen to me while out on a back packing trip in the Shasta area. I had my puppy with me. She was about a year old at the time. In the tent ready for bed when I also heard something outside my tent sniffing around. Very scary as I also thought it was a bear. I also heard a pan clanging around a ways away as if something was sniffing around that. I was scared to death and had to hold my pups mouth together so she wouldn't bark and go crazy with whatever was out there. I was with other people who were out in their tents but I was too scared to yell out to find out what was out there. The next day I found out it was dear snooping around. I'll never forget how scared I was though thinking it was a bear and would eventually rip through the tent and eat us both alive!

I'm thinking that metal on metal sound is an owl. My spooky experience was on South Padre Island in the late 1970s. It was way after midnight when I saw a light in the sand moving toward me. I saw it approach and move on by. It was as if someone was holding a flashlight taking a brisk walk on the beach in the dark but there was no person... I still wonder about this.

1st story: A bear picked up the chapstick with its mouth and when it was not tasty, slung it to the side and continued to search for the yummy smell.
