I have a hybrid Maverick. I love it and get unreal mpg. But at 44k miles I have already had the transmission and CV joints replaced . It has had many recalls. I just had 5 of them done.

So far the Maverick annd Santa Cruz are on the market in N. America. Many of the others can't meet current safety / emission specs, or are not on any market.

Ford can't make them fast enough is close but the fact is they have been making VERY few of them because,they have been to busy making overpriced full size trucks they can't sell because people either can't afford them or refuse to pay the price.
All the big 3 have jumped on the band wagon and are doing the same thing.
They all have quit making vehicles that people want and can afford.
There are a lot of us who will not get anything EV or hybrid,
