Hi Dwight, this worked very well for me in the first few months, now when I crop my webcam, it only captures half of the webcam. I tried restarting Davinci and the computer but it doesn't work. Any idea why? Thanks for the video btw
I’ve been having that issue too. I think that it a CPU problem. The cpu is struggling to process. I switched to my gaming pc which has a way better cpu and it didn’t have any issues. My guess is the updates to divinci are causing the issue. I would look into CapCut (app) on your phone if restarting doesn’t help. You can also clear your PC of videos and stuff like that to see if it helps lighten the load of your CPU.

I make videos on TH-cam on my realesate here in Japan and I just joined TikTok, so I was wonder if it's a good way to make intro videos on TikTok and then refer them to full video on TH-cam. Can I just take short parts from current youtube videos and do this...kinda like a preview for a movie.

Exactly. Just edit them down to the length you want. You can even link your TH-cam to TikTok. You can put the link in the comments and pin it to the top as well.

That’s weird. If you change that and save the setting, it should be. Only thing I can think of is a CPU issue. I’d make sure to download the newest update too.
im not 100% sure what im struggling on but when i import the clip its in the vertical layout already, at 1:46 when u see the clip you imported on the right, its in normal format, for me its already full screened, not sure what to do. i followed all the steps. let me know if u have any ideas.

You are likely just grabbing the wrong layer when you are expanding it. The bottom layer should be the outer layer, the second should be the main video, and the top layer should be your camera (if you have one). Hope this helps!!!

im not sure what im doing wrong but when i take my clip and drop it into the media pool, instead of it showing landscape how you have it but in tiktok sizing, it automatically crops out the sides of my video, so i cant bring my cam box ontop in a different layer :(
You’re not doing anything wrong. With the newest update it does that automatically. All you have to do is click on the clip and use “transform” and adjust it back down to normal size before doing any other editing. Hope this helps!
Weird. I am not sure why it is zoomed in. Unfortunately it requires a really good cpu. My old cpu gave me all kinds of issues cropping and transforming.

May I ask… what was the point of “create timeline”? Does anything go IN that? I haven’t found anyone else doing this. Is this just to set the aspect for the whole thing?
Double check that the audio is still on the timeline. If it is, just export it again. Sometimes if you have a lower end CPU it will export poorly. I’ve had it happen a couple of times. Let me know if exporting it again doesn’t work

For the third layer you can use blanking fill instead. I belive it has the same effect.

You just need to use a stream software. I just use Streamlabs. It’s free and easy to use. I actually have a video on my channel for it.

Yes. I would make the full video first. After you have saved it, take bits you want from the video and you can make a TikTok with it.

Mine was doing that too. Select the “transform” tool and just drag it to its normal size. That’s what I had to do.

Yes. There is an icon on the top right of the screen that shows 2 little boxes. Click on that and it should turn into one screen display (I think).

Not really. What I usually do is just email myself the clip and upload it from my phone.

Just create a new timeline. You want to create the timeline before bringing in the clip. Within the timeline you can change it under format.

Just attached it to an email and it should upload using google drive or iCloud. You can download it to your phone from there!

You have to make sure the timeline is set to 1080x1920.

Just snag the Twitch logo as a png and add it ass layer. You can also add text if you want.
When I export it there’s no sound
Make sure you are not deleting the sound. Also, I’ve had that happen and it could just be a CPU issue. I’d restart and try to export it again.
